Abstract

Digital transformation has encouraged business actors to adopt various digital financial services in managing their business activities. However, effective financial management depends not only on general digital literacy but also on digital financial literacy, which reflects the ability to utilize digital financial technologies for financial decision-making. This study aims to examine the effects of Digital Financial Literacy and Digital Literacy on the Financial Management of women-owned household businesses in East Jakarta. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 114 women entrepreneurs selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that Digital Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management (β = 0.413; p = 0.001), whereas Digital Literacy has a positive but insignificant effect (β = 0.148; p = 0.241). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.287) indicates that both variables explain 28.7% of the variance in Financial Management. These findings suggest that the ability to utilize digital financial services plays a more important role in improving financial management than general digital literacy. Therefore, programs aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs should prioritize strengthening digital financial literacy to enhance the quality of business financial management

Abstract

To provide high-quality research data, research tools' validity and dependability are essential. A measurement model of digital literacy, student engagement, and learning motivation among high school students was validated in this study using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The students took part in this quantitative investigation's instrument piloting phase. Data was gathered using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, and analysis was done using SmartPLS 4. The model was assessed using convergent validity, discriminant validity, and construct reliablity. The study's findings show that every construct satisfies the suggested standards for validity and reliability. The outer loading values were within acceptable bounds, the Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha values were greater than 0.60, and the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) was greater than 0.50. These results imply that the assessment methods for learning motivation, student engagement, and digital literacy are appropriate for use in educational research. In the context of high school pupils, this study offers empirical support for the viability of a measurement model that incorporates these three constructs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the international marketing adaptation strategies adopted by Riau sago noodle SMEs to meet Taiwanese consumer preferences and identify the challenges encountered during market expansion. A qualitative multiple case study approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of SMEs' adaptation practices. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving ten participants, including SME owners, a production manager, an export consultant, a government representative, and an SME development officer in Riau Province, Indonesia. First, SMEs adapted their products to align with Taiwanese consumer preferences by improving product quality, modifying flavor and texture where appropriate, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards required for export markets. Second, packaging and labeling were redesigned by incorporating vacuum-sealed packaging and bilingual information to enhance product attractiveness and consumer trust. Third, SMEs adopted cultural branding strategies by positioning Riau sago noodles as authentic traditional Malay food products with distinctive cultural heritage. Fourth, digital marketing platforms were utilized to promote products internationally and establish direct interactions with potential consumers. Finally, several challenges were identified, including limited market intelligence, certification requirements, and inadequate export networks. The study concludes that successful internationalization requires an integrated adaptation process combining product innovation, cultural authenticity, digital marketing capabilities, and institutional support. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the SME internationalization literature and practical implications for developing export-oriented strategies for traditional food products in emerging economies.
