Abstract

Walking exercises can improve cardiovascular and lung fitness and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Lack of exercise can cause health problems that cause bone density to decrease drastically, resulting in the loss of muscle mass. People want to exercise their encouragement and awareness of the importance of health in the body. Each individual has a different response to the importance of health, so it is not surprising that some people think that exercise is not important. This research aims to determine the level of awareness of people who regularly walk. The research method used is to fill out a questionnaire. The sample in this study used 35 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed and filled in directly by respondents. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Data analysis found that the level of health for those who exercise regularly is sufficient and is dominated by everyone's awarenes

Abstract

Abstract

Student athletes often do not have good basic techniques in performing running movements, resulting in the resulting running speed is also not optimal. This study aims to increase the running speed of Lesson athletes with the ABC running method. This research is a quantitative study that uses a quasy experimental research design. This study uses a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest posttest design. The results of research from 30 samples by collecting 100-meter running speed data on Baturaja Runner Club Student Athletes. Based on the results of data analysis, there is a significant effect of ABC running training on the results of 100-meter running speed in Baturaja Runner Club athletes with a tcount of 5.516 ttable 2.045, a significance value of 0.000 a = 0.05 and with a percentage increase of 34.03%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest training results, which means that the ABC running method has a significant impact in improving the results of running speed in student athletes

Abstract

Scientific interest in women's soccer has increased over the past few years. There are several factors that can affect the performance of female soccer athletes, including the composition that supports running performance (speed, agility, and muscular endurance). This is to identify players who may be considered important for the successful execution of tactical roles and reference norms for developing future soccer playing talent. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in speed, agility, and muscular endurance based on playing position in amateur female athletes. The population and sample in this study were 24 amateur female soccer players. This research method uses an analytical approach with data description. Furthermore, it was analyzed using SPSS software version 26. The results showed significant differences between the variables tested according to the player's position in the team could not be determined with the significance results for the speed variable of 0.001 0.05, then for the agility value of 0.001 0.05, and for the muscle endurance variable of 0.000 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences in speed, agility, and muscle endurance in amateur female soccer players based on playing position. However, players must maintain and improve their level of physical fitness to support tactical performance during matches or seasons.

Abstract

This article describes the role of kinesiology in injury prevention in badminton players of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Semarang State University (UNNES). Kinesiology, the study of human movement, is important in the world of sports to prevent injuries that can affect an athlete's performance. This study used a qualitative method to understand how the application of kinematics principles can help reduce the risk of injury to badminton players. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with coaches, physical therapists, and athletes, as well as observations during training sessions. This study shows that kinesiology knowledge and its application to training programs plays an important role in increasing athletes' awareness of correct posture and technique, ultimately reducing the risk of injury. In addition, this study also identified the following challenges in the application of kinesiology: B. Lack of deep understanding between coaches and players and limited facilities. These results highlight the importance of continuing kinesiology education in athletic training programs at the university level and the need for institutional support to improve the quality of training. This article contributes to the literature on injury prevention in sports, particularly badminton in an academic setting.

Abstract

Changes experienced by the elderly are a decrease in physical fitness such as heart-lung and circulatory fitness. This results in the elderly getting tired easily when doing physical activity. So it takes a physical activity that produces results for the elderly with the right dose and dose. This article aims to examine the Indonesian Tera Gymnastics on BMI and pulse frequency. The method used is an experimental research model, using a one group pre-test and post-test design framework through a process before and after treatment in the form of Tera Gymnastics carried out 3 times 1 week in 4 weeks. The instrument used in collecting BMI data is measuring body weight and height. The technique of collecting assessment samples using Purposive Sampling. The sample obtained was 33 people with the research subject was COOM (Branch of Community Sports Organization) Gymnastics Tera Indonesia who participated in training at Slamet Park, Malang City. Data   processed descriptively using statistical tests. The results of the analysis showed that Tera Gymnastics did not have a significant effect on reducing BMI (p = 0.281 0.05). However, there was a significant effect on the decrease in resting pulse rate before and after exercise (p = 0.000 0.05). In addition, the average pulse rate after exercise was in the light intensity category, according to the fitness level of the elderly. In conclusion, Tera Gymnastics is effective in reducing resting pulse rate, which contributes to improved cardiovascular health, although it does not significantly affect BMI.

Abstract

Cooperative learning models are known to be effective in increasing student engagement and motivation, especially in physical fitness activities. This study aimed to investigate the application of cooperative learning models to increase students' motivation to participate in physical fitness activities at SMANOR Tadulako. This study used a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data from surveys and observations. A total of 100 students were involved in the study, who were divided into groups for the cooperative learning intervention during physical education sessions. The results showed a significant increase in motivation levels, where students demonstrated higher participation, teamwork, and enthusiasm in physical fitness activities. The findings highlight the role of cooperative models in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and better learning outcomes.
