Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecakapan numerasi matematis siswa dikaji dari tingkat self-confidence. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan interview semi-terstruktur, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VII berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil pengisian kuisioner self-confidence, subjek dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori self-confidence rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Tiap-tiap kategori diambil satu siswa sebagai responden dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan self-confidence tinggi dapat mengerjakan soal numerasi dengan strategi yang efektif, lengkap, dan percaya diri. Siswa dengan self-confidence sedang cenderung ragu dalam mengambil keputusan saat menghadapi soal yang lebih kompleks yang berakibat kurang yakin menggunakan konsep. Siswa self-confidence rendah menunjukkan kecenderungan menghindar dan kurang yakin terhadap kemampuannya sendiri. Siswa kategori rendah tidak mampu menemukan konsep dan menerapkannya dalam masalah. Self-confidence terbukti memengaruhi pemahaman, keberanian mencoba, dan konsistensi strategi penyelesaian soal numerasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendukung penguatan self-confidence siswa dalam belajar matematika.Kata Kunci: Matematika; Numerasi; Self-ConfidenceProfile of Students' Numeracy Skills Reviewed from Self-ConfidenceABSTRACTFrom the standpoint of self-assurance, this research sought to evaluate students' mathematical numeracy abilities. The data collection methods employed in this descriptive qualitative study included documentation, tests, and semi-structured interviews. Thirty-seventh-grade pupils made up the study group. After completing the self-assurance questionnaire, the participants were classified into high, medium, and low self-assurance levels. Each category was taken by one student as a respondent with purposive sampling. Data analysis involved the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students with high self-assurance may employ successful, comprehensive, and assured tactics to numerical challenges. Students who have a moderate amount of self-assurance were often hesitant to make choices when faced with more complex problems, that result in less confidence in using concepts. Students with low self-confidence showed a tendency to avoid and lack confidence in their own abilities. Low-category students were not able to find concepts and apply them to problems. Self-confidence has been shown to affect understanding, courage to try, and consistency in numeracy problem-solving strategies. The implications of this study show the importance of a learning approach that supports strengthening students' confidence in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauhmana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas V SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Paluh Mudik. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah tes dan non tes. Non tes dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan setelah dilakukan pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda adalah 77,63 sedangkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran STAD adalah 59,74. Sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas V SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik.Kata Kunci: STAD; Kriteria Ketuntasan Belajar; Hasil Belajar MatematikaImproving Mathematics Learning Outcomes through the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model for Students of SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Pauh MudikABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which student learning outcomes improved on the topic of adding fractions with different denominators using the STAD-type cooperative learning model in grade V of SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik. This type of research was classroom action research, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The population of this study was grade V students of SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Paluh Mudik. The data collection techniques for this study were tests and non-tests. Non-tests were carried out through observation, interviews, and field notes. The results of the study were obtained after mathematics learning with the STAD type cooperative learning model; the average score of student learning outcomes on the topic of adding fractions with different denominators was 77.63, while the student learning outcomes before the STAD learning were 59.74. So there is an increase in student learning outcomes on the topic of adding fractions with different denominators using the STAD-type cooperative learning model in grade V of SD Negeri 95/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse teacher readiness and competency in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with seven informants: the principal, the vice principal for curriculum, two IPAS teachers, and three 10th-grade students. Data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to identify patterns, themes, and meanings emerging from the field data. The research focused on teachers' understanding of the Independent Curriculum concept, their ability to design project-based learning and assessment, and the use of technology in the learning process. The results indicated that the readiness and competency of IPAS teachers were still in the early adaptation stage. Teachers had attempted to implement the principles of the Independent Curriculum, but still face challenges in analysing Learning Outcomes (CP), formulating Learning Objectives (TP), developing Learning Objective Flows (ATP), and developing contextual teaching modules. Other obstacles included limited digital literacy, inadequate supporting facilities, and low ability to implement project-based learning. Institutional support from schools existed, but it was not optimal due to limited time, resources, and technical assistance from external parties. Therefore, continuous teacher competency strengthening through practice-based training, increased educational technology literacy, and collaboration between teachers are needed to realise integrative science and science learning in accordance with the spirit of Freedom to Learn.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji secara sistematis peranan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Inkuiri  dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review melalui dengan pendekatan PICOS untuk menetapkan kriteria inklusi. Artikel ilmiah diperoleh melalui penelusuran pada Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci spesifik, dari 10 artikel yang ditemukan, terdapat 7 artikel terpilih berdasarkan kriteria lima tahun terakhir terbit antara 2020 sampai 2025 dan relevan dengan topik. Hasil kajian menampilkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri yang terdiri dari modul ajar, LKPD, dan instrument penilaian secara konsisten memberikan dampak positif terhadap meningkatnya kecakapan matematis siswa yang dikembangkan melalui pengembangan ADDIE, 4D, dan Plomp. Sebagian besar artikel juga memaparkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran valid, praktis, dan efektif berdasarkan uji kelayakan serta respons siswa. Dengan demikian, perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri merupakan alternatif pembelajaran inovatif dan layak diimplementasikan secara luas dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: SLR; Perangkat Pembelajaran; Inkuiri; Kemampuan MatematisA Systematic Literature Review: Inquiry-Based Learning Tools to Improve High School Students' Mathematical AbilitiesABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to systematically examine the role of inquiry-based learning tools in improving mathematical skills. The method used was a systematic literature review through the PICOS approach to establish inclusion criteria. Scientific articles were obtained through a search on Google Scholar using specific keywords. Out of the 10 articles found, there were 7 selected articles based on the criteria of the last five years published between 2020 until 2025 and relevant to the topic. The results of the study showed that inquiry learning tools consisting of teaching modules, LKPD, and assessment instruments consistently had a positive impact on improving students' mathematical skills developed through the development of ADDIE, 4D, and Plomp. Most of the articles also explained that learning tools were valid, practical, and effective based on the feasibility test and student responses. Thus, inquiry learning tools were an innovative learning alternative and deserve to be widely implemented in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan mengevaluasi pengelolaan limbah medis di Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan dengan studi kasus di Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya serta menganalisis keterkaitannya dengan nilai tanggon sebagai dasar penguatan karakter tanggung jawab lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan 3 orang laboran, 5 orang dosen, dan 5 orang mahasiswa, serta 2 orang tenaga kebersihan, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengelolaan limbah medis di FKH UWKS sudah berjalan cukup baik walau belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar regulasi. Pemilahan limbah dan kerja sama dengan pihak ketiga berizin telah dilakukan, tetapi masih terdapat kendala berupa ketidakteraturan pengambilan limbah, potensi penumpukan limbah biologis, serta praktik penanganan limbah kimia yang belum sesuai rekomendasi WHO dan peraturan Kementerian LH. Nilai tanggon berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku pengelolaan limbah sivitas akademika, namun pemahaman mahasiswa tentang risiko limbah medis dan implementasi nilai tersebut masih bervariasi. Diperlukan penguatan edukasi, penyempurnaan SOP, dan integrasi nilai tanggon dalam kegiatan praktikum untuk mewujudkan sistem pengelolaan limbah medis yang lebih aman, berkelanjutan, dan berkarakter.Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Limbah Medis; FKH UWKS; Nilai Tanggon; Karakter Lingkungan; Perilaku Pro-LingkunganA Study of Medical Waste Management at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Relation to the Tanggon Attitude of the Academic Community at Universitas Wijaya Kusuma SurabayaABSTRACTThis study aims to describe and evaluate the medical waste management practices at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, and to analyse their relationship with the Tanggon value as a foundation for strengthening environmental responsibility character. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation, in-depth interviews with three laboratory technicians, five lecturers, five students, and two cleaning staff members, as well as an analysis of relevant documents. Data were analysed interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the medical waste management system at FKH UWKS was functioning, although it had not yet fully met regulatory standards. Waste segregation and cooperation with licensed third-party contractors had been implemented; however, challenges remain, including irregular waste collection, potential accumulation of biological waste, and chemical waste handling practices that did not fully comply with WHO recommendations and Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry regulations. The Tanggon value positively influenced the waste management behaviour of the academic community, yet students’ understanding of medical waste risks and their application of this value vary. Strengthening education, improving SOPs, and integrating the Tanggon value into practical activities are needed to achieve a safer, more sustainable, and character-driven medical waste management system.
