Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar dan motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Suhu dan Termometer. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental) dengan desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA berjumlah 25 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal tes sebanyak 10 nomor untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar dan angket dengan 14 pernyataan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis uji-t parametrik dan teknik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 4,843>2,964 sehingga Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh penggunaan model PBL terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata nilai kelas 85 > nilai KKM 75. Motivasi belajar dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 85%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan motivasi belajar peserta didik.Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning; Prestasi Belajar; Motivasi Belajar Implementation of Problem-Based Learning Model to Improve Students’ Learning Achievement and Physic Learning MotivationABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the increase in learning achievement and motivation to learn physics students by applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to the Temperature and Thermometer subject. The type of research used was quasi experimental research with the design used was posttest only control group design. The subjects of the study were 25 students of class XI science. Data collection was carried out using 10 test questions to determine learning achievement and questionnaires with 14 statements to determine student learning motivation. The data analysis techniques used were parametric t-test analysis techniques and percentage descriptive techniques. The results showed that the calculated t value was greater than the t table, which was 4.843 > 2.964 so that Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an influence on the use of the PBL model on student learning achievement with an average grade score of 85 > a KKM value of 75. Learning motivation was in the high category with a percentage of 85%, so it can be concluded that the use of PBL model can increase learning achievement and students learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh apersepsi fun story terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi-Experimental Design yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 46 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 22 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari apersepsi fun story terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen (88,18) secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol (49,74). Uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (Sig.=0,0000000000011024). Perhitungan Cohen's d menghasilkan nilai 3,13 menunjukkan efek sangat besar dari apersepsi fun story terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, apersepsi fun story memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah mempertimbangkan penggunaan apersepsi fun story sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Apersepsi Fun story; Hasil Belajar Siswa; Materi PeluangThe Effect of Fun Story Apperception on Students Learning Outcomes in Probability SubjectABSTRACTThis research aimed to investigate the influence of fun story apperception on students' learning outcomes in probability. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was 46 students. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique so that 24 students were obtained as the experimental class and 22 students as the control class. Data were collected through tests using research instruments in the form of test questions and analyzed using SPSS 25. The results of the study showed a significant influence of fun story apperception on students' learning outcomes. The average post-test score of the experimental group (44.09) was significantly higher than the control group (24.87). The t-test showed a significant difference between the two groups (Sig. = 0.0000000000011024). Calculation of Cohen's d yielded a value of 3.13 indicating a very large effect of fun story apperception on students' learning outcomes. In conclusion, fun story apperception had a significant influence on students' learning outcomes in probability. The recommendation from this research is to consider the use of fun story apperception as an effective learning strategy to improve students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar siswa dengan penerapan bahan ajar fisika berbasis kearifan lokal tenun ikat pada materi Gaya dan Hukum Newton. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X sebanyak 50 orang dan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X1 sebanyak 27 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan lembar angket minat belajar dengan 15 pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi bahan ajar dari 3 orang validator diperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase materi sebesar 76,92% dengan kategori valid dan nilai rata-rata persentase media sebesar 79,62% dengan kategori valid. Hasil analisis N-Gain diperoleh bahwa besar peningkatan minat belajar menggunakan bahan ajar fisika berbasis kearifan lokal tenun ikat sebesar 0,82 dengan kategori tinggi. Rata-rata persentase minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah di terapkan bahan ajar fisika berbasis kearifan lokal tenun ikat secara keseluruhan untuk semua indikator sebesar 56,8% dengan kategori cukup baik menjadi 93,2% dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata Kunci:Bahan Ajar Fisika; Kearifan Lokal; Gaya; Hukum Newton; Minat BelajarImplementation of Physics Teaching Materials Based on Local Wisdom of Ikat Weaving to Increase Students’ Learning Interest in Force and Newton LawABSTRACTThis research aimed to determine the increase in students' interest in learning by applying physics teaching materials based on local ikat weaving on Force and Newton's Laws. The research used was quantitative research with quantitative descriptive methods. The population used was 50 class X students and the sample used was class X1 with 27 people. The research instruments used in this research were a validation sheet and a learning interest questionnaire sheet with 15 statements. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the results of the validation of teaching materials from 3 validators obtained an average material percentage value of 76.92% in the valid category and an average media percentage value of 79.62% in the valid category. Meanwhile, the results of the N-Gain analysis showed that the increase in interest in learning using physics teaching materials based on local ikat weaving was 0.82 in the high category. The average percentage of students' interest in learning before and after applying physics teaching materials based on local ikat weaving overall for all indicators was 56.8% in the quite good category to 93.2% in the very good category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa yang dicerminkan dalam perancangan tugas proyek dan penyusunan laporan secara tertulis dengan desain Pre eksperimental desain (xo). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penugasan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang mengolaborasikan mahasiswa antar mata kuliah prodi teknik elektro STT Pati. Sebagai objek penelitian adalah mahasiwa teknik elektro semester 1 melalui teknik penugasan kolaborasi mahasiswa dalam bentuk rancang bangun pompa air tanpa listrik yang mengolaborasikan antara mata kuliah fisika dasar yang diajarkan pada mahaiswa semester 1 dan mata kuliah energi terbarukan yang diajarkan pada mahasiswa semester 6 Prodi Teknik Elektro STT Pati. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan dokumentasi laporan proyek dan hasil produk sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan produk pompa air tanpa listrik yang mampu diterapkan pada program pengabdian masyarakat. Susunan laporan proyek alat pompa dikomunikasikan secara tertulis. The approach used in this research was the assignment of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) which collaborates students between electrical engineering study program courses STT Pati. The object of research was electrical engineering students in semester 1 through student collaboration assignment techniques in the form of designing water pumps without electricity that collaborate between basic physics courses taught to semester 1 students and renewable energy courses taught to semester 6 students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, STT Pati. Data capture instruments used documentation, project reports, and simple product results. The results of the study were obtained from the water pump products without electricity that can be applied to community service programs. The composition of the pump project report was communicated in writing. The final result of this study was in the form of a description of the profile of critical thinking skills of electrical engineering students in semester 1.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of grade V elementary school students on the animal respiratory system. The type of research used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all grade V elementary school students totalling 74 students. Samples were taken by convenience sampling technique consisting of the VA class with 25 students as the experimental class and the VC class with 24 students as the control class. Data collection was carried out using cognitive learning outcomes tests on the animal respiratory system. The data were then analyzed using an independent two-sample t-test, an Effect Size test, and an N-gain test. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in student cognitive learning outcomes between classes that used the Quizizz application and classes that did not use the Quizizz application with tcount > ttable, namely 3.8133 > 2.0139; (2) the use of the Quizizz application had a high influence on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of students with the results of an Effect Size of 1.08, high criteria; (3) the use of the Quizizz application could improve students' cognitive learning outcomes with N-gain results of 0.5172, medium criteria. Thus, it could be concluded that there was an effect of using the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of grade V elementary school students on the animal respiratory system.

Abstract

Mengungkap miskonsepsi siswa tentang getaran merupakan tujuan dalam penelitian ini. Wawancara klinis dan individual demonstration interview dilakukan pada 18 orang siswa SMP di Pontianak yang dipilih dan dikelompokan dalam kolompok tinggi, kelompok sedang dan kelompok rendah (masing-masing kelompok 6 orang). Siswa menganggap frekuensi pada pegas dipengaruhi ampliutudo dan massa beban yang digantungkan merupakan bentuk miskonsepsi yang paling banyak dialami siswa. Siswa yang pintar dan kurang pintar memiliki peluang yang sama mengalami miskonsepsi tentang getaran.Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi; Wawancara; Getaran Diagnosis of Students’ Misconceptions about VibrationABSTRACTRevealing student’s misconceptions about vibration was the purpose of this research. Clinical interviews and individual demonstration interviews were conducted with 18 selected junior high school students in Pontianak and grouped into high, medium and low groups (6 people in each group). Students think that the frequency of the spring is influenced by the amplitude and the mass is the most common form of misconception experienced by students. Smart and less intelligent students had the same opportunity to experience misconceptions about vibration.

Abstract

Kemampuan konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar pada sekolah dasar merupakan materi matematika yang sangat penting. Rendahnya penguasaan konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar pada siswa sekolah dasar disebabkan rendahnya kemapuan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan berhitung dan kemampuan memecahkan soal cerita. Untuk itu, guru di sekolah dasar diharapkan dapat menjelaskan konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar dengan benar. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum memahami konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar yang disebabkan dalam pembelajaran matematika kurang medapatkan perhatian. Tujuan Pennelitian adalah untuk mendeksripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar yang berkaitan pemahaman konsep keterampilan berhitung pada bilangan bulat dan pecahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahaisswa semester 2 PGSD FKIP Untan dan PGSD STKIP Singkawang pada Mata Kuliah Matematika Dasar. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data meliputi tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata kemampuan penalaran matematis konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar adalah 78,8%, dengan tingkat kemampuan 0 yaitu 1,3%, tingkat kemampuan I yaitu 3,9%, tingkat kemamupuan II yaitu 42,1%, tingkat kemampuan III yaitu 39,5% dan tingkat kemampuan IV yaitu 13,2%. Secara keseluruhan mahasiswa belum menguasai konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar. Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menguasai konsep-konsep operasi hitung dasar ditunjukkan dari beberapa kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal.Kata Kunci: Tingkat Kemampuan; Penalaran Matematis; Konsep Operasi Hitung Dasar The Level of Mathematical Reasoning Ability in the Concepts of Basic Calculation Operations of StudentsABSTRACTThe ability to understand the concepts of basic arithmetic operations in elementary schools is very important mathematics material. The low mastery of the concepts of basic arithmetic operations in elementary school students is due to the low ability to understand concepts, numeracy skills and the ability to solve word problems. For this reason, teachers in elementary schools are expected to be able to explain the concepts of basic arithmetic operations correctly. However, in reality, there are still many students who do not understand the concepts of basic arithmetic operations because mathematics learning does not receive enough attention. The aim of the research was to describe mathematical reasoning abilities, concepts of basic arithmetic operations related to understanding the concept of counting skills in whole numbers and fractions. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were 2nd semester students of PGSD FKIP UNTAN and PGSD STKIP Singkawang in the Basic Mathematics Course. The object of research was students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Data analysis techniques included stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were that the average mathematical reasoning ability for basic arithmetic operations concepts is 78.8%, with ability level 0 being 1.3%, ability level I being 3.9%, ability level II being 42.1%, ability level III is 39.5% and ability level IV is 13.2%. Overall, students had not mastered the concepts of basic arithmetic operations. Students' difficulties in mastering the concepts of basic arithmetic operations were shown by several students' mistakes in solving problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menguji pengaruh pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa; (2) mengidentifikasi aktivitas belajar siswa melalui pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching; dan (3) mengidentifikasi respon belajar siswa terhadap pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Monterado dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan posttest only control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar pengamatan aktivitas, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Effect Size, analisis persentase aktivitas, dan analisis rata-rata respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Monterado dengan nilai Effect Size yaitu 0,44 dengan kategori sedang; (2) aktivitas belajar siswa aktif terhadap pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching dengan persentase 89,82%; dan (3) respon belajar siswa terhadap pendekatan Reciprocal Teaching yaitu 4,41 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. The data analysis techniques used were the Effect Size test, activity percentage analysis, and average response analysis. The results of the study showed that (1) there was an influence of the Reciprocal Teaching approach on students' critical thinking skills in social arithmetic in grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Monterado with an Effect Size value of 0.44 with a medium category; (2) student learning activities were active towards the Reciprocal Teaching approach with a percentage of 89.82%; and (3) students' learning response to the Reciprocal Teaching approach, which is 4.41 with a very high category. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen tes berbasis HOTS pada materi persegi dan persegi panjang bernuansa motif Tenun Ikat Sintang untuk siswa SMP kelas VII. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan. Langkah-langkah pengembangan yang dilakukan adalah Define, Design, dan Development. Tahap Define dilakukan analisis awal, kebutuhan siswa, dan kurikulum. Tahap Design menghasilkan desain awal instrumen tes HOTS. Pada tahap Development instrumen tes divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli yakni satu dosen pendidikan matematika FKIP UNTAN dan satu guru matematika SMPN 1 Silat Hulu. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian berjumlah 29 siswa SMP Negeri 1 Silat Hulu yakni 6 siswa uji coba terbatas dan 23 siswa uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan 3 butir soal uraian HOTS pada ranah kognitif menganalisis (C4), mengevaluasi (C5), dan mengkreasi (C6). Soal HOTS yang dikembangkan berkualitas baik dengan kualitas valid, reliabel, tingkat kesukaran berkriteria sedang dan sukar, dan daya pembeda soal berkriteria cukup dan baik.Kata Kunci: Instrumen Tes HOTS; Persegi dan Persegi Panjang; Motif Tenun Ikat SintangDevelopment of HOTS Test Instruments on Square and Rectangular Based on Sintang Ikat Weaving MotifsABSTRACTThis research aims to produce a HOTS-based test instrument on square and rectangular materials with nuances of the Sintang Ikat Weaving motif for junior high school students in grade VII. The type of research was development research. The development steps carried out are Define, Design, and Development. The Define stage was carried out with an initial analysis, student needs, and the curriculum. The Design stage resulted in the initial design of the HOTS test instrument. At the Development stage, the test instrument was validated by two experts, namely one mathematics education lecturer from FKIP UNTAN and one mathematics teacher from SMPN 1 Silat Hulu. The trial subjects in the study amounted to 29 students of SMP Negeri 1 Silat Hulu, namely 6 students of limited trials and 23 students of field trials. The results of the study produced 3 HOTS description questions in the cognitive realm of analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The HOTS questions developed were of good quality with valid, reliable quality, moderate and difficult level of difficulty with criteria, and sufficient and good distinguishing power of the criteria questions.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai calon guru Fisika profesional yang kompeten haruslah memiliki pemahaman konsep serta keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Fisika, karena banyak kejadian atau fenomena yang terdapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan lingkungan sekitar yang sangat berkaitan dengan Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep Fisika mahasiswa, dan melatih keterampilan praktikum dalam Laboratorium Virtual melalui penggunaan program Crocodile Physics dengan pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas untuk diteliti yang diberi perlakuan dengan memanfaatkan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Fisika Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) melakukan treatment, kemudian untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa dilakukan uji t dan N-Gain. Hasil analisis data untuk uji t berpasangan dilakukan dengan SPSS, dengan hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar <0,001 kurang dari 0,05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara pre-test dan post-test. Kemudian hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa memperoleh kriteria tinggi dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,71. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dalam penggunaan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis TPACK.Kata Kunci:TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge); Pemahaman Konsep; Crocodile PhysicsTPACK-Based Learning Assisted by the Crocodile Physics Program to Improve the Understanding of Physics ConceptsABSTRACTStudents as prospective competent professional Physics teachers must have an understanding of concepts and skills in learning Physics because many events or phenomena are contained in daily life and the surrounding environment that are closely related to Physics. This research aims to improve students' ability to understand Physics concepts and train practicum skills in the Virtual Laboratory through the use of the Crocodile Physics program with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach. This type of research was descriptive research. This study used one class to be researched which was treated by utilizing the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium. The research subjects were 23 students of the Physics Education Study Program for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Data collection was carried out twice, namely before (pretest) and after (post-test) treatment, then to see an improvement in student's understanding of physics concepts, t-test and N-Gain were carried out. The results of data analysis for the paired t-test were carried out with SPSS, with the results of the sig value. (2-tailed) is <0.001 less than 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), meaning that there was a real difference between the pre-test and post-test. Then the results of the data analysis showed that the improvement in students’ understanding of concepts obtained high criteria with an N-Gain score of 0.71. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a positive influence in the use of the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium in improving the ability of conceptual understanding using a TPACK-based approach.
