Abstract

The school environment is central to children's direct learning. In developing potential in early childhood at school, the environmental design must prioritize safety, comfort and fun. KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK has Quality ECD guidelines on safe learning environments for early childhood. The purpose of the study was to determine the indicators and how to realize a safe environment in PAUD units. The method in the study used a literature study, namely data sources obtained from books, articles, scientific publications related to a safe learning environment in PAUD. Indicators in a safe learning environment in PAUD units, namely building safety, environmental safety, availability of first aid facilities and unit policies on anti-violence. Safe buildings must meet sturdy and stable standards and environmental safety must pay attention to the safety of children when entering school, during learning and returning home. The availability of first aid facilities in PAUD units aims to anticipate and provide first aid to children who have an accident or illness at school. Anti-violence unit policy in PAUD through three efforts, namely awareness, prevention and handling efforts. Therefore, PAUD units must pay attention to indicators in realizing a safe environment for early childhood so that development is optimally stimulated.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the application of traditional sen games in Kufar Village, East Seram Regency, determine forms of cooperation in children aged 4-6 years through traditional sen games in Kufar Village, East Seram Regency, and determine the factors inhibiting forms of cooperation in children aged 4-6 years. 6 years through the traditional game of sen in Kufar Village, East Seram Regency. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Observation, interview, and documentation techniques were applied to 10 children selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research are: (1) the application of the traditional sen game works well and has a significant effect on children in collaborating with their friends; (2) the forms of cooperation in children aged 4-6 years through traditional sen games are very diverse, namely: (a) spirit of togetherness and team cohesion, (b) not giving up easily, (c) self-control, (d) learning to focus and (e ) sportsmanship; and (3) factors inhibiting forms of cooperation, namely: (a) lack of parental support, (b) less conducive environment (c) lack of play area and (d) use of gadgets. The research implies that children aged 4-6 years must be given an understanding of the positive impact of traditional sen games so that they are serious about playing. Parents and teachers play an important role in forming children to work together with their friends. As well as variables, research methods, and media are expected to be more varied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of extracurricular STEAM robotic coding in training problem-solving skills for young children at Joy Kids National Plus Tasikmalaya Kindergarten. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through direct data collection at the research location. Data was obtained through literature study, observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses descriptive. The research results show that the process of implementing STEAM robotic coding learning includes the stages of child conditioning, apperception and provocation. The type of coding used is unplugged coding as the activity is able to provide stimulus to children in observing, recognizing and understanding the meaning of the commands contained in the circuit including direction and sequence. Through extracurricular robotic coding, STEAM can facilitate early childhood problem-solving skills by demonstrating skills in observing objects (observation), gathering information (collecting), processing information (Analyzing), and communicating information (communicating).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of delicate motor stimulation on improving children's ability to write letters by combining straight lines, flat lines, right-left oblique, left curves, right curves, and upper and lower curves into letters. The study used a quantitative approach, with one group pretest and posttest experimental methods. The study sample was 20 people. Data is collected through observation sheets by providing a checklist of aspects achieved by students. A paired sample t-test is used to analyze the data. The results of data analysis showed that the activities of drawing straight lines, flat lines, right left tilts, left curves, right curves, upper arches, and lower curves increased children's initial writing skills in forming the alphabet
