<![CDATA[A question arises how is it possible to act on the ecology of Christian eco-theology resources? There is no denying that there is a connection between direct involvements of Christianity in the world's ecological crisis. a record of the progress of civilization and human science which is moved by the human soul in carrying out the cultural mandate in Genesis 1:28. A strong criticism is given by sociologists, ecologists, and theologians, against the actions of the West in exploiting nature on a large scale which, without being balanced with the protection of nature itself, ultimately results in massive ecological destruction and oblivion. Ecological damage is actually the destruction of mankind. The author tries to give an opinion on how Christianity should support ecological action based on the eco-theology of John Calvin, a Reformed theologian who has long laid the foundation for a Christian ethical view of how Christianity should manage and maintain the existing created nature as a blessing from God for human welfare, as well as the implementation of cultural mandates.]]>

I use sociological-historical criticism that makes up for a missiological perspective on public sphere as a basis for critique of the model of religious presence in the political public sphere in Indonesia. The followed by the evangelism theory as a peaceful and undominant Christian presence in public sphere. It is to prove that the church, through the people, can and will need to take an active role I political public sphere as and evangelism in politics.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescence is identical with the process of searching for personal identity in community life. This process is strongly influenced by the values instilled by his parents since childhood. However, what if the parents do not carry out that function and the child is in a broken family environment. This study aims to obtain a complete portrait of the appropriate model of pastoral counseling for adolescents who experience broken homes. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach to photograph this phenomenon in the community with interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The results show that the image and self-concept of adolescents who experience a broken home family leads to a bad self-image and is contrary to God's Word. However, if pastoral counseling is carried out by involving families, communities and pastors intensely, the tendency will lead to positive things.]]>

<![CDATA[A person who experiences the deadly disease of cancer tends to be frustrated and desperate to get out of the disease. In addition to the small chance of healing, the cost of treatment and therapy is very expensive so that only certain groups can access it. The Surabaya CAC Foundation is one form of service that answers this problem. Cancer patients are served not only medically, but they also provide assistance by bringing in God's servants and counselors to accompany them. They help by providing temporary shelter and medical expenses as much as they can afford. The purpose of this study is to obtain a model of pastoral care for cancer patients at CAC Surabaya which can later be applied in general. The method used is qualitative with the data source is in-depth interviews with patients and managers of the Surabaya CAC Foundation. The results showed that the function of pastoral assistance is in reconciliation, healing, and affirmation. Meanwhile, the challenges of pastoral care for patients can be seen when it raises the spirit and hope of the patient's life, convinces the patient that miracles still exist, leads the patient to believe in the power of prayer, and awakens the patient's faith through the Words of God.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic that is still spreading to this day has closed direct services in the church. Not only churches located in urban areas, but churches located in villages are also not spared the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic. Likewise, the existing Christian youth associations were also temporarily closed for their activities. The purpose of this research is to explore the efforts that can be made by Christian youth, especially in village churches in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to reveal the efforts that can be made by Christian youth in facing the challenges of the covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that Christian youth became the main milestone in carrying out worship in local churches, especially villages, because of significant changes. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt quickly to be able to find the right strategy in carrying out worship at the village church.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem of juveniles today is increasingly troubling the community, especially in a cosmopolitan city like Jakarta. Developed countries, as well as developing countries, also feel uneasy because juvenile delinquency is increasingly occurring which has a negative impact on people's social life. Call it the problem of rebellion against parents, free sex, smoking, and intoxicating alcoholic drinks. This problem also extends to the youth of the church who live together with society at large. The root of this problem is the wholeness and harmony of the family in educating children according to God's Word. This study aims to examine the effect of disharmony in the family on the social and spiritual lives of young people. The method used is quantitative with the Y variable being the social and spiritual life of the youth of the Masterplan Youth GBI Eben Heazer. The results showed that the effect of family disharmony was in the very low category. This means that family disharmony does not have a big influence on the social and spiritual life of adolescents. Juvenile delinquency that occurs can be influenced by other factors such as economic conditions, the environment or it can be from individual factors themselves.]]>

<![CDATA[Suffering is a reality that is experienced by each person as an integral part of their life. The experience of suffering is inevitable. At this moment, the experience of suffering by some people is exposed by a coronavirus (Covid-19). The virus is able to spread so quickly, that it can threaten the lives of everyone exposed. This pandemic phenomenon has resulted in a crisis in society, especially in social and economic life. Besides that, the crisis is happening too in people’s faith. There are so many people who are despairing and hopeless because they must accept the fact that one of their family members was exposed to a virus and died. However, this situation must be responded to by the Christian faith, so that there is no despair and hopelessness. Through the Christian faith, the Christians do not avoid suffering but face it because in this suffering people get salvation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the understanding of the cell group leaders about the hermeneutical principle, the understanding of the cell group leaders about the hermeneutical method; and the application of hermeneutics by the cell group leaders at GBI ROCK Monang-Maning Satellite Denpasar. This research is a qualitative research with the object of research is the application of hermeneutics at GBI ROCK Monang-Maning Satellite Denpasar. The collection techniques used were observation, documentation study and online interviews with 10 respondents. The data were analyzed by means of data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Testing the validity of the data using the credibility test and data reliability test. The results showed that the cell group leaders understood general hermeneutic principles, but still did not understand the specific hermeneutic principles. In terms of the hermeneutic method, the results showed that not all complex shepherds understood the hermeneutic method. In terms of application, the research results show that even though they understand the principles and methods of hermeneutics, there are still cell group leader who do not apply them in practice so that there are still misinterpretations in the sermons.]]>

<![CDATA[The parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 is a passage that is often discussed. The discussion is usually directed to the youngest who realizes his mistake and then returns to his father. The response of the father who hugged the youngest back from his escape drew anger from the eldest. After the story, the reader will close it and take the implications that can be learned from the parable. However, there is another aspect that deserves to be studied, especially regarding the deepest meaning of the parable. This study aims to explain the meaning of the parable of the prodigal son. The research method used is biblical literary and history criticism. The results showed that the meaning of the prodigal son was not only directed to the youngest. But to the eldest who does not understand his father's heart towards those who return from his loss. Thus, what is missing in this parable is the eldest, not the youngest.]]>

<![CDATA[Leadership is an essential factor in the progress of a nation, organization, even church. If the leader can carry out his responsibilities, there will be a transformation, but otherwise, it will be destructive. The book of Judges describes leaders who are transformative but also destructive. This study aims to analyze the leadership of the Pentecostals from the point of view of Judges chapter 4. The research method used is a narrative analysis of the text of Judges 4:1-24. The study results show that synchronizing the text of Judges 4:1-24 will increase the importance of the role of leaders to make people aware of divine support, which not only strengthens them when they are weak but also equips sharpens their "weapons" to achieve victory. The primary key lies in the desire to cooperate in God's agenda by working together and hand in hand to accomplish God's purposes and plans in our generation.]]>
