Abstract

Burnout akademik merupakan suatu kondisi kelelahan emosional, berkembangnya sikap sinis terhadap tugas akademik, serta menurunnya rasa kompetensi diri akibat paparan tuntutan belajar yang berlangsung secara intens dan berkepanjangan. Dalam menangani burnout akademik diperlukan adanya efikasi diri yang mengindikasikan bahwa keyakinan berperan penting menekan adanya burnout. Tujuan pembuatan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika efikasi diri berperan penting mengatasi burnout akademik dan peran bimbingan konseling dalam meningkatkan efikasi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan belajar individu. Metodologi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik tinjauan literatur yang diperoleh dari berbagai artikel jurnal ilmiah yang relevan. Dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri berperan penting terhadap burnout dimana semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka semakin rendah burnout akademik, dengan bantuan layanan BK seperti bimbingan kelompok, layanan klasikal, dan konseling individu diharapkan dapat efektif mengurangi burnout belajar.  Kata kunci: Burnout, Efikasi Diri, Bimbingan & Konseling

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pola asuh otoritarian terhadap perilaku Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) dalam perspektif Islami, Perilaku ini muncul sebagai ekspresi dari kondisi batin dan biasanya tampak dalam sikap, ucapan, maupun tindakan sehari-hari, yang didasarkan pada fenomena meningkatnya perilaku emosional anak seperti membangkang, mudah marah, dan sulit dikendalikan, Perilaku emosional yang tidak terkontrol dan berlangsung terus-menerus dapat mengarah pada gangguan seperti Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), salah satu penyebabnya pola asuh orang tua, khususnya pola asuh otoritarian. Pola asuh otoriter merupakan bentuk pengasuhan yang menekankan pada kontrol dan pengawasan ketat dari orang tua, dengan tujuan agar anak bersikap tunduk dan patuh terhadap aturan. Dalam pola ini, orang tua cenderung bersikap memaksa, keras, dan kaku, serta menetapkan berbagai aturan yang harus dipatuhi tanpa mempertimbangkan perasaan maupun kebutuhan anak. Ketika anak bertindak tidak sesuai dengan harapan, orang tua biasanya merespons dengan emosi atau kemarahan. Oleh karena itu, pola asuh otoriter kerap dipandang berpotensi menghambat perkembangan emosional dan sosial anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif, adapun informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 5 orang, dengan Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber data  diperoleh  dari  Al-Qur’an,  hadis,  literatur ilmiah dan  hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pola asuh otoritarian dapat memunculkan perilaku ODD pada anak, seperti sikap membangkang, agresif, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi. Faktor penyebab penerapan pola asuh ini meliputi kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang pola asuh alternatif, pengalaman masa lalu, tekanan sosial budaya, serta kondisi psikologis dan ekonomi keluarga. Dalam perspektif Islam, pola asuh yang ideal tidak hanya menekankan pada kedisiplinan, tetapi juga harus  disertai dengan kasih sayang, keteladanan, komunikasi yang baik, serta pembiasaan nilai- nilai keimanan dan akhlak. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pola asuh otoritarian yang tidak diimbangi dengan pendekatan emosional dan nilai-nilai Islami dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan psikologis anak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pola asuh yang seimbang antara ketegasan dan kasih sayang untuk mencegah munculnya perilaku ODD serta membentuk karakter anak yang lebih baik. Abstract

Ibu tunggal yang memiliki anak tunagrahita menghadapi berbagai tantangan pengasuhan yang kompleks dan berkelanjutan, meliputi aspek psikologis, sosial, ekonomi, dan spiritual. Kondisi tersebut menuntut adanya kemampuan resiliensi yang kuat agar keluarga tetap mampu bertahan dan berfungsi secaraadaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk resiliensi ibu tunggal dalam membimbing kemandirian anak tunnagrahita serta strategi ibu tunggal dalam menjaga ketahanan keluarga di tengah keterbatasan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi ibu tunggal lebih dominan pada aspek I Am dan I Can. Aspek tercermin dari sikap penerimaan, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab ibu terhadap kondisi anak, sedangkan aspek I Can terlihat dari kemampuan ibu mengelola emosi, menghadapi permasalahan pengasuhan, serta membimbing kemandirian anak secara bertahap sesuai kemampuan anak. Aspek I Have relative lemah akibat keterbatasan dukungan sosial. Ketahanan keluarga terbentuk melalui sistem keyakinan yang adaptif, fleksibilitas organisasi keluarga, dan pola komunikasi yang mendukung, meskipun dukungan sosial eksternal terbatas. Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of understanding students’ personal problems that may affect their development and academic success. Various problems experienced by students, both internal and external, need to be systematically identified in order to provide appropriate guidance and counseling services. This study aims to map students’ personal problems using the Problem Checklist Application (Daftar Cek Masalah/DCM) to obtain a comprehensive overview of students’ conditions. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects consisted of 120 students of SMA Negeri 44 Maluku Tengah selected through total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Student Needs Questionnaire, which covers various aspects of student problems. The data were analyzed using a computerized program to obtain the distribution and percentage of students’ problems. The results showed that a total of 772 problems were identified. Health aspects were the most dominant, accounting for 32.64%, followed by recreation and hobbies (19.69%), economic conditions (17.62%), family life (15.8%), and religion and moral aspects (14.25%). These findings indicate that both physical and psychological health significantly influence students’ lives and learning processes   Keywords: Personal Problem, Problem Checklist

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of group counseling services in enhancing students’ participation motivation following regulatory changes in Islamic boarding schools. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving four students and two boarding school administrators. The findings indicate that students’ participation motivation declined due to physical fatigue, changes in activity schedules, and low intrinsic awareness. The implementation of group counseling services was carried out through several stages, namely formation, problem identification, problem-solving, and commitment strengthening. The results show that group counseling has a positive impact on increasing self-awareness, fostering intrinsic motivation, and reducing avoidance behavior. Students gradually demonstrated improved attendance, more cooperative attitudes, and better adaptation to the new regulations. Therefore, group counseling is considered effective in supporting students’ psychological adaptation and enhancing their participation motivation in boarding school activities.   Keywords: group counseling, motivation, participation, students, Islamic boarding school

Abstract

Abstract: This study is motivated by the importance of understanding students’ perceptions of the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools as part of supporting their development. Students’ perception is a crucial aspect because it can influence their attitudes and engagement in utilizing these services. This research aims to describe students’ perceptions of the implementation of guidance and counseling services in terms of cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 192 students and analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The results indicate that students’ perceptions generally fall into the moderate category, with the dominance of moderate levels across all examined aspects. This finding suggests that students have a fairly good level of understanding, attitude, and behavioral tendency toward guidance and counseling services, although not yet optimal. Therefore, while the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools has been carried out, further improvement is still needed to provide more optimal experiences for students. Abstract

Social anxiety (social anxiety disorder) is one of the most common mental health problems experienced by adolescents, particularly in educational settings. This condition is characterized by excessive fear of social interactions, concerns about negative evaluation from others, and physical symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, trembling, and sweating. This study aims to: (1) describe the level of students’ social anxiety before and after the implementation of breathing exercises, and (2) examine the effectiveness of group counseling using breathing exercises in reducing students’ social anxiety.This study employed a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) approach conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 4 Takengon. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire administered through pre-test, post-test cycle I, and post-test cycle II. The intervention technique used was group counseling with the application of breathing exercises aimed at helping students control their physiological responses to anxiety.The results showed that students’ social anxiety levels before the intervention were in the moderate to high category. After the implementation of the first cycle, the anxiety level decreased to a moderate category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, students’ social anxiety significantly decreased to a low category. This reduction was indicated by the gradual decline in the average anxiety scores across each cycle. In addition, observational results revealed positive behavioral changes, such as increased self-confidence, reduced nervousness when speaking in front of the class, and improved social interaction skills.The findings also demonstrate that group counseling using breathing exercises is effective in reducing students’ social anxiety. This technique helps students achieve relaxation, reduce physical tension, and improve emotional regulation. The group counseling dynamics also provide social support that strengthens behavioral change processes. Therefore, the combination of group counseling and breathing exercises is not only quantitatively effective in reducing anxiety levels but also qualitatively enhances students’ psychological well-being.In conclusion, the implementation of group counseling with breathing exercises is an effective and relevant intervention to help students overcome social anxiety and can be used as an alternative strategy in school guidance and counseling services.
