Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian abu kerak boiler untuk mengetahui kristalinitas serta menentukan kapasitas dan efisiensi adsorpsi optimum abu kerak boiler terhadap logam Pb berdasarkan variasi massa adsorben, waktu kontak dan pH. Analisis kristalinitas abu kerak boiler menggunakan XRD, sedangkan penentuan kapasitas dan efisiensi adsorpsi optimum abu kerak boiler menggunakan SSA. Hasil analisis XRD didominasi oleh mineral SiO2 dalam bentuk kuarsa dengan sudut difraksi 2θ = (20.91; 21.96; 26.66; 27.96; 31.32; 34.56; 50.03;50.22). Kapasitas adsorpsi optimum massa adsorben 0.01 g adalah 89.1925 mg/g, efisiensi adsorpsi optimum massa absorben 0.1 g adalah 95.45%. Kapasitas efisiensi adsorpsi optimum dicapai pada waktu kontak 45 menit adalah 9.974 mg/g dan 98.96%. Kapasitas efisiensi adsorpsi optimum dicapai pada pH 8 adalah 9.699 mg/g dan 87.97%.

Abstract

Kelimpahan kulit jagung dari hasil panen belum dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal sehingga masih menjadi limbah. Salah satu upaya untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan limbah kulit jagung adalah sebagai adsorben karbon aktif. Kulit jagung dikarbonisasi pada suhu 320oC selama 2 jam, dan diaktivasi menggunakan KOH selama 24 jam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan Surface Area Analyzer (SAA) diperoleh luas permukaan karbon aktif 1.35896 m2/g, volume pori total 3.0099 cm3/g dan diameter pori rata-rata 4.4297 nm, yang menunjukkan bahwa pori karbon aktif kulit jagung berukuran mesopori. Kulit jagung memiliki kemampuan sebagai adsorben yang dapat mengikat adsorbat yaitu logam Fe. Pengukuran kadar logam Fe sebelum dan sesudah pengontakan menggunakan analisa Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (SSA). Variasi waktu kontak yang dilakukan yaitu 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 dan 120 menit terhadap larutan Fe 20 ppm. Diperoleh hasil kemampuan penyerapan logam Fe berturut-turut sebesar 0.4366 mg/L, 1.0515 mg/L, 0.4499 mg/L, 0.5527 mg/L, 0.4781 mg/L dan 0.5272 mg/L. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi dan kapasitas adsorpsi yang optimum terdapat pada waktu kontak 30 menit dengan massa adsorben 0.5 gram, masing-masing adalah 26,288% dan 1.0515 mg/g. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang kajian kinerja spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada analisis spesi iodium dalam rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii . Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsentrasi iodium dalam rumput laut e.cottonii secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 350 nm, dan juga dilakukan uji kinerja spektrofotometri UV-Vis untuk parameter linearitas, presisi, akurasi dan LOD. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi iodium dalam rumput laut e.cottonii sebesar 570 µg/g atau 0,05%. Uji kinerja spektrofotometri UV-Vis untuk parameter linearitas, presisi, akurasi dan LOD berturut-turut : uji linearitas (R2) adalah 0,995. Uji presisi untuk larutan standar 1 ppm dengan nilai KV sebesar 0,37% dan untuk larutan standar 6 ppm sebesar 0,29%. Uji akurasi untuk larutan standar 1 ppm dengan % perolehan kembali sebesar 84,52% sedangkan untuk larutan standar 6 ppm sebesar 67,03%. Sedangkan uji batas deteksi (LOD) dengan konsentrasi terendah yang masih bisa dideteksi adalah 0,01 ppm. Hasil dari penelitian untuk keempat parameter tersebut membuktikan bahwa metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis yang digunakan memenuhi standar validasi sehingga dinyatakan valid untuk penggunaanya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Herbal medicine is used for generations because of its safety and free from adverse side effects, but the healing process takes a long time. This is the background of herbal medicine manufacturers to improve their performance by adding dexamethasone compounds. This compound is a synthesis of corticosteroid hormones whose use must be under the supervision of a doctor because it has side effects of cardiovascular disease, Cushing's syndrome, osteoporosis, hypertension, gastrointestinal ulcers, infections, and cataracts. The presence of this compound can be detected using the Thin Layer Chromatography method by comparing the Rf value of the sample with the standard solution of dexamethasone. The eluents used are methanol, ethyl acetate, and toluene with a ratio of 1:45:55. This method was used to detect dexamethasone content in six samples of packaged herbs circulating in the Mojokerto region, East Java province. Of the six samples analyzed, five of them showed positive results, namely samples A, B, C, D and F with a difference in the Rf value of the sample and standard of each 0.01; 0.01; 0.00; 0.00; and 0.02. Sample E does not contain dexamethasone indicated by the difference in the sample's Rf value against the 0.5 standard. Abstract

Ganoderma lucidum, lingzhi or reishi mushroom is a plant containing secondary metabolites that are of wide interest due to their biological activities. Among them the most important is its Antioxidant activity. Free radicals are potentially damaging byproducts of metabolism. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals in the body and thus help to protect against disease (source) The study was conducted to determine the antioxidant effect, as measured by DPPH radicals scavenging capability of hand and body lotions with lingzhi mushroom extract included. Maceration was used to extract lingzhi and the yield of extraction is 14.17% The results of the preliminary phytochemical analysis showed that lingzhi has contained compounds related to flavonoid, phenolat, triterpenoid and steroid. The antioxidant activity assay further confirmed the results as lingzhi extract showed very high antioxidant (46.9 ppm) potential when tested against DPPH scavenging by abrogating red purple color at 517nm table(Table.). In addition, the incorporation of lingzhi extract with hand and body lotion also increased antioxidant activity, where 0.75% lingzhi extract was found have to produce most effective DPPH inhibition [IC50 = 28.47 ppm].

Abstract

ABSTRAK Limbah abu cangkang kelapa sawit dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai adsorben dalam mengadsorpsi ion Fe, karena mengandung 75,8% SiO2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pori abu cangkang kelapa sawit serta kapasitas dan efisiensi adsorpsi abu cangkang kelapa sawit terhadap ion Fe berdasarkan variasi massa adsorben dan pH adsorbat. Karakteristik pori dianalisis menggunakan Surface Area Analyzer (SAA). Adsorpsi abu cangkang kelapa sawit tehadap ion Fe dilakukan secara batch dengan variasi massa adsorben 0,0001, 0,0005, 0,001 dan 0,005 g serta variasi pH 3, 6, 7 dan 8. Konsentrasi ion Fe teradsorpsi dianalisis menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (AAS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan SAA menunjukkan bahwa abu cangkang kelapa sawit memiliki karakteristik pori berukuran mesopori dengan diameter pori sebesar 2,9273 nm, volume pori sebesar 0,010 cc/g dan luas permukaan sebesar 1,120 m2/g. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dalam peniltian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui Pemahaman Konsep Siswa setelah diterapkan LKPD Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dan Untuk mengetahui Sikap Ilmiah Siswa setelah diterapkan LKPD Berbasis Kearifan Lokal. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah peneitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Dengan rancangan penilitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest postest Desing. Berdasarkan hasil penilitian di peroleh bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang di nilai terdiri dari 5 indikator yaitu pada indikator menafsirkan sebesar 100% (sangat tinggi), memberi contoh sebesar 80% (sangat tinggi), mengklasifikasikan sebesar 100% (sangat tinggi ), menduga sebesar 80% dan menjelaskan 100% (sangat tinggi). Sikap ilmiah yang dimiliki terdiri dari indikator sikap ingin tahu 68,25% (baik), jujur fakta/data 55% (cukup), berpikir kritis sebesar 71% (baik), penemuan dan kreativitas menggunakan fakta-fakta 71,5% (baik), berpikir terbuka dan kerjasama 64% (baik), peka terhadap lingkungan 58,25% (cukup).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to increase the understanding of the concepts and scientific attitude of class XI IPA-3 students of SMA Negeri 3 Ambon in the reaction rate material through the application of project based learning (PjBL) learning model. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The study population was the class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Ambon and research samples of class XI IPA-3 students numbered 36 students. Data collection uses test and non-test techniques and data analysis is done descriptively by using the again score. The results showed that of the 36 students, 30 students experienced an increase in understanding concepts (83,3%) in the high category and 6 students (16,7%) were in the medium category, with an average n-gain 0,78. Whereas in the scientific attitude at a meeting of I there were 15 students (41,7%) in the very good qualifications, 21 students (58,3%) good qualifications, meeting III 14 students (38,9%) excellent qualifications, 22 students (61,1%) with good qualifications, for enough qualifications and less/failed on the two meetings did not exist.Thus the application of the learning model of the project based learning (PjBL) can improve the understanding of concept and scientific attidude of class XI IPA-3 SMA Negeri 3 Ambon on the concept of reaction rates.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted to find out the learning outcomes and learning outcomes of class X mia SMA 13 BURU in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions using the Guided Inquiry learning model. The sample of this research was students of class X mia, totaling 19 students. This research is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations, the instruments used are initial tests, worksheets, final tests and non-tests in the form of affective and psychomotor observation sheets. The results showed that in the initial test all students had not reached the KKM, and student learning outcomes in the form of the final test showed that 8 students (42%) is in the high category, 7 students (36%) were in good qualifications and 4 students (22%) are in sufficient qualification. Then the results of the N-gain analysis showed that 12 students (63%) were in the high category and 7 students (37%) were in the medium category and no students were in the low category. Thus the application of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model can improve the learning outcomes of class X mia students in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions at SMA 13 Buru .
