Abstract

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Pekanbaru Panam faces challamges in increasing the active participan of non-wage wokers (BPU), through an integrated marketing communications carried out to acquire new participanst and maintain active participation. This study uses a Qualitative method with a case study. The object of the study is to examine integrated marketing communications activities and the subject of the study are employees who are tasked with marketing the BPU program. Data were obtained through interviewa, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques though recuction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan marketing communications includes core elements such as direct sales and management as the main account, as well as supporting elements such as advertising, publis realtions and social media. The integration of these elements creates an effevtive synergy in expanding social security protection for the BPU segment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of Public Relations of SMKN 1 Barumun in establishing cooperation with the Business World and Industry (DU/DI). Vocational education at SMKN 1 Barumun focuses on improving students' skills that are relevant to the world of work through strategic partnerships with DU/DI. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study indicate that the communication strategy of Public Relations of SMKN 1 Barumun in building relationships with industry stakeholders is effective through the PRAKERIN program. The strategies used include Research-Listening, Planning-Decision, Communication-Action, and Evaluation. Although data collection and the MOU process went well, several aspects such as attitudes, responses, and decisions of Public Relations need to be strengthened. The role of the head of department is also very important in supporting this strategy, by increasing inclusive implementation to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and support the success of school programs.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia, including in Pekanbaru, with the number of cases continuing to increase. This study aims to analyze the self-concept of breast cancer patients, both internally and externally. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a naturalistic approach, this study involved five informants, namely patients and their treating doctors. The results showed that patients' self-concepts were influenced by three main factors: past life, environmental influences, and current conditions. Internally, patients face dynamics in accepting physical, emotional, and social changes due to cancer, while externally, family and social support play an important role in the adaptation process. This study suggests the importance of environmental support in improving the quality of life of breast cancer patients.

Abstract

Perum Bulog Lebak Branch Office has experienced a decline in commercial commodity sales over the past three years, due to the company's position in quadrant II of the SWOT matrix, where there are internal strengths but faced with external threats. The study aims to calculate the need for commercial rice stocks to achieve the 2023 sales target, analyze the company's position in the SWOT matrix, and determine new strategies to increase sales. The methods used include forecasting with Exponential Smoothing With Trend, which estimates stock needs of 1,121.5 tons and a sales target of 168 billion rupiah. The results of the study show that collaboration with large companies as suppliers is an effective strategy, which has succeeded in increasing sales from 26 billion per month to 43 billion per month, an increase of 40%. The main recommendation is to continue this collaboration to further improve sales performance.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the results of forecasting or forecasting sales for July to December 2023 at one of PT's branches. X. PT. X itself sells various kinds of building materials, one of which is cement. As a basic material for building foundations, it is of course the best-selling product, with a presentation of 95.2% of the total turnover of 79,777,000,000. As an effort to control inventory, using forecasting methods as one solution. The forecasting method used is least squares and trend moment. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. After carrying out forecasting calculations using two methods, namely least squares and trend moment, make comparisons using Standard Error Forecasting calculations. From the results of the Standard Error Forecasting (SKF) calculation, it is known that the least square method is 764.7496 and the trend moment is 765.3125. Where the results of these calculations show that the best method is the least squares method, so companies are advised to use the least squares method as an effort to control inventory

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the animal feed industry that implements the Make To Order (MTO) system. Raw materials Rice Brand (Katul), Soya Bean Meal (SBM), and Crude Palm Oil (CPO) are raw materials that are often used in animal feed production. Because the uncertain demand for feed causes problems in predicting the amount of raw material stock. The purpose of this study is to compare three forecasting methods based on the historical data patterns of each raw material. There are three methods used, namely Single Exponential Smoothing, Moving Average, and Weighted Moving Average. After the data error test was carried out, it was found that the Weighted Moving Average method had the smallest error value for each raw material, namely with the forecast on Rice Brand (Katul) which is 102,241 tons with a MAPE value of 0.44334; Soya Bean Meal (SBM) 787,090 tons with a MAPE value of 0.0858; and Crude Palm Oil (CPO) which is 86,072 tons with a MAPE value of 0.1465.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the reliability of the DC-DC buck-boost converter using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The analysis was conducted to identify potential failures, impacts, and risks of key components such as MOSFETs, electrolytic capacitors, inductors, diodes, and control ICs. The results indicate that the control IC has the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) of 16.87, followed by the MOSFET with an RPN of 11.87, making these two components the main priorities for risk mitigation. Meanwhile, electrolytic capacitors (RPN 4.7), inductors (RPN 4), and diodes (RPN 3.47) exhibit lower risks but still require regular monitoring. The suggested improvements include adding voltage protection, enhancing component cooling, and adjusting switching frequency to optimize inductor performance. This research demonstrates that the FMEA method can enhance system reliability by identifying critical failures and providing appropriate recommendations for risk reduction efforts. By implementing these measures, the DC-DC buck-boost converter is expected to operate more stably, efficiently, and have a longer lifespan

Abstract

Problems such as fatigue, decreased performance, and high stress levels often arise as a result of workload imbalance, which can affect the operational efficiency of the company. Accurate workload analysis is essential to overcome this problem. This study aims to analyze the workload in the engineering department of PT Semen Indonesia using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to evaluate workforce needs and distribute workload proportionally. Based on the results of the FTE calculation, the Integration Bureau Staff with 11 employees obtained a total FTE value of 12.7 ≈ 13, the Process Bureau Staff with 3 employees obtained a total FTE value of 4.7 ≈ 5, the Mechanical Bureau Staff with 4 employees obtained a total FTE value of 6.48 ≈ 6, the Civil Bureau Staff with 5 employees obtained a total FTE value of 6.48 ≈ 6, the Elins Bureau Staff with 3 employees obtained a total FTE value of 3.43 ≈ 3.

Abstract

This research uses the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method to analyze the main causes of defects in bulk container bag/jumbo bag products at PT The four main types of defects, namely hole body, off-center printing, folded body, and dirt, were identified using the Pareto diagram, with hole body being the highest category (37%). The P-chart shows that the production process is within statistical control limits. Fishbone analysis found five main factors that cause defects: people, materials, machines, methods and work environment. Suggested solutions include employee training, stricter raw material selection, machine maintenance, work environment improvements, and implementation of standard operating procedures. The results of this research provide recommendations for quality improvement to reduce defect levels.

Abstract

XYZ is a company manufacturing plastic sacks, especially woven bags. During the production process, problems were discovered with the Sewing Cutting Machine (MPJ), which affected the quality of the final product. This research is aimed at identifying and analyzing problems and factors that cause damage to the machine. Therefore, the methods used are Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Based on the results of research at (SQC), it was found that the most dominant defects were 34% loose stitching, 33.5% holes in sacks, 32.5% inappropriate sewing folds. Furthermore, based on the results of the FMEA analysis, it is known that the cause of the defect with the highest RPN value is a loose stitch of 240 with the cause being inconsistent thread tension. Recommendations for improvements that can be proposed are implementing an automatic control system to maintain the stability of thread tension and conducting operator training to ensure appropriate thread settings. The implementation of these improvements is expected to improve the overall quality of woven bag products.
