Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the results of the students before the use of drill and method demonstrations and whether the use of the methods of drill and demonstrations at learning math can improve student learning outcomes. This research is the research of class act, so that the area studied was limited to the class that has the specified class i. B MIN School number of students with as many as 18 students. Data taken through observation, documentation, and test. The results of the analysis of the research shows that students learn math, yield is still low, it can be known from the results of the evaluation of the initial tests with the value of the KKM assigned there are only 4 students who scored above the KKM or around 22% with an average rating of 67.3. After done actions there is an increase of any cycle and cycle I retrieved the result value of the students above the KKM is as much as nine children or about 55.5% with an average score of 71.6 and at the end of the cycle II obtained the result value of the students above 16 KKM children or approximately 90.5% with an average rating of 81.9, then it can be inferred that the merging method of drill and demonstrations can enhance the results of learning math students in grades I. B MIN Wonosari.

Abstract

This study is purposed to find out how to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes through Index Card Match method in memorize Al Qur’an Hadis. The research was designed as a classroom action research. This reseach using classroom action reseach by employing two cicles, comprising the planning, actuating, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research was VIIIF grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Bantul of academic year 2016-2017. The results of this study indicate a significant increase in learning motivation. The percentage of students' learning motivation in the meeting I of cycle I, the student motivation was 78% and went up to 88,46% at meeting II of cycle II. There were 66,66% of total studens score above the Minimum Passing Grade (KKM) at Pre-cycle. At the meeting of cycle I and II, students who score above the KKM rose to 92,30%. In short, the implementation of Index Card Match methode in memorize Al Qur’an Hadis course can improve motivation and learning outcomes by modifying certain substances that are the use of attractive media, seating arrangements, and effective classroom management strategies.

Abstract

Madrasah education quality improvement is very related to the capacity and ability of the head master, because in the era of autonomy of education as currently the madrasa was given the freedom to develop the quality of education that exists in the madrasa. A model of leadership and how to lead the head of his Agency's response to the madrasa became one of the benchmark and the means to improve the quality of education in madrasah that she leads. The issues examined in this paper is focused on the model of leadership in improving the quality of head master resource madrasa MI Ma'arif Giriloyo I. This research is a descriptive research using qualitative approach, data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation of data sources against primary and secondary. The results of this research show that; Value-based leadership is a leadership model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Giriloyo I basically a leadership that basing on the principle of cooperation from the head master resource components to the entire madrasa with values are developed within an organization as well as in line with religious values, social and Islamic culture around the madrasa. In the exercise of his leadership of the head master using principles of management i.e. input, process and output.

Abstract

This research method using action research supervision, namely providing action against madrasa or teacher in charge as the team successful accreditation of the school/madrasa. Action of supervision consists of two cycles, each cycle includes: planning, implementation, observation/observation and reflection. I cycle on physical evidence that has been filled with good and right on MI Al Islam 32.48%, at MI Al Ihsan there 33.76%, at MI Wahid Hasyim 34.39% and at MI Ma'arif Bego 43.31%. Before stepping into the cycle II is no reflection on the purpose of evaluating the cycle I and cycle II plan. With the improvements in cycle II expected more efficiently and effectively. The results of supervision and supervision cycle II physical evidence already filled and right on MI Al Islam 86.6%, at 89%, MI Al Ihsan, MI Wahid Hasyim 91.72% and at MI Ma'arif Bego 96.8%. Results of the study showed a rise in MI Al Islam of 71 became 89 with the rise in value or 18%, on MI Al Ihsan from 83 be 93 with the rise in the value of 10 or 10%, at MI Wahid hasyim from 91 be 95 there is a rise in the value of 4 or 4% and on the MI Ma'arif Bego 90 into 98 there is a rise in the value of 8 or 8%. Thus an integrated supervision and supervision on a madrasah that will enhance the value of accreditation can be accredited.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning types Think Pair Share (TPS) to improve the learning results of IPA specifically material chemicals in Life in class VIII-B MTsN Gondowulung. This research is a research action class that is intended to address the existing problems in the classroom by utilizing real action and then do a reflection against the results of the action. This research takes place in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings, each cycle is implemented with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, action and reflection. The subject of this research is grade VIII-B MTsN Bantul Gondowulung that add up to 34 students. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and test the results of the study. Data obtained in the field dinalisis using qualitative analysis techniques by means of categorisation/categorization includes the reduction of data, data retrieval and presentation of conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning types Think Pair Share (TPS) in class VIII-B MTsN Bantul Gondowulung can improve the learning results of the IPA especially chemical material in life. It can be seen from the results of the students in class study on Deuteronomy I its daily average is 56.76 on Deut. II daily mean value was 48.97 and Deuteronomy III daily average was 58.38. While the average rating on a cycle I was 65.44 as well as an average rating on cycle II is 71.34. The increase in value from the beginning of 56.76 Deuteronomy daily be 71.32 on the test cycle II shows the increase of 14.56. Activities or the activities of students during the study also experienced an increase, this is indicated by the percentage of students who are actively increasing from the first meeting through to the four i.e. 60.29% at the first meeting, 66.91 at the meeting keduan, 72.30% at the meeting, the third and fourth meeting at 74.26%. Thus it can be said that cooperative learning types think pair share (TPR) is very effective to improve the learning results of the IPA.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of giving task by using Mind Mapping method. Using Mind Mapping method is hoped that it can help the students to understand and to improve the students’creativity. This research is taken to 20 students of XII Science 3 of MAN 1 Gunungkidul. The teacher watches the students’activity and their team work. This research can be said success after the students get the score > 7.00. it gets >80% and it means that it reaches improvement in the students’activity. The method that is used in this research is Class Action Research. This research run in two cyles. Every cycle uses the procedures of planning, doing, observation and reflection. From the result in the first cycle, the students can get > 7.00 that is 54,54% with the creativity level is average. Based on the first cycle, it is continued to the second cycle. In the second cycle, the students get the mark > 7.00, it gets 81.81 % with the activity level is high. It is matched with the hope that this research can optimalize the students’ ability in mastering the english vocabulary in the second cycle. Based on the research it can be concluded that the method of Mind Mapping can make the students ability in mastering english vocabulary optimal. It can improve the efectivity of the students’ English learning.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) the influence of mind mapping strategy towards the students achievement in the Fiqh subject in the seventh grade of MTsN 8 Gunungkidul, (2) the influence of mind mapping strategy towards the students motivation in Fiqh Subject in the seventh grade of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul, and (3) the influence of the students achievement towards the students motivation in the Fiqh subject in the seventh grade of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul. This research applied the quasy experiment method which followed by 72 students of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul that divided into two groups, experiment group and control group. In order to find out the data of the students’ achievement used the pretest and posttest and to find out data of the students’ motivation used the questionnaire of the student motivation with Likert scale. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, and simple regression using computer program of SPSS for windows 10,00 version. The result of the research showed that, first, there was the influence of mind mapping strategy towards the students’ achievement in Fiqih subject in the seventh grade of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul. Second, there was the influence of mind mapping strategy towards the students’ motivation in the Fiqh subject in the seventh grade of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul, and third, there was the influence of the students achievement towards the students motivation in the Fiqh subject in the seventh grade of MTs N 8 Gunungkidul.

Abstract

This study is a follow-up to the teacher to solve the problems in learning Jurisprudence XI IPA 2 MAN 3 Kulon Progo. After an evaluation by mendam associated with low absorptive capacity of students to the subject matter of jurisprudence conclusion: a) Low participation of learners in the learning, b) Low learning outcomes of students. Based on these problems, this study aims to enhance the activity of students in learning by using Learning Model Jurisprudence Market Place Activity. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four activities: planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subject of students grade XI 2 MAN 3 Kulon Progo. Data collected through documentation, observation, interviews, field notes and research instruments. Analysis of the data was done by reducing the data, presenting data, and draw conclusions. The results showed, (1) an increase in active learners in the following study of jurisprudence before action learning activities of students on average by 46.75% or 12 learners, after the action on the first cycle increased 81.73% or 21 participants students, then on the second cycle increased by 93% or 24 learners., (2) an increase in the study of students, before action is taken the number of students who pass 19% or 5 learners. Then, after the action on the first cycle, the number of students who completed 69.2% or 18 learners. After the implementation of the action on the second cycle the number of students who completed 100% or complete all.

Abstract

This research aims to know the extent to which the success of the coaching methods of coaching competence models as a teacher in drawing up the implementation plan of learning especially RPP Curriculum year 2013. To know the competency of teachers in enhancing business assembles RPP K-13 through a coaching method conducted supervisor at MTsN 9 Sleman and MTs Ibnu Sina Berbah Sleman Yogyakarta. This research uses research methods of action. This research was carried out in MTsN 9 Sleman and MTs Ibnu Sina Berbah on February – April 2017. This research took place in three cycles. The results showed an increase in the competence of teachers through methods of coaching by coaches under the guidance of supervisor at MTsN 9 Sleman and MTs Ibn Sina. Then after the performance of supervision through the method of coaching which further attested by the existence of the data observations from the initial findings prior to coaching for MTsN 9 Sleman which originally was 34.52% and once implemented Coaching for 3 cycles then retrieved the value of observations 86.29%. So with the method of coaching coaching there is an increase in 51.77%. Whereas in MTs Ibn Sina, on the initial findings of the observation value obtained 34.56%. And having held coaching for 3 cycles obtained the value of observations 86.39%. So there is an increase of 51.83%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning method group investigation can increase activities and student achievement in demographic and environmental materials beings subjects of Natural Science (IPA) in the class IX C MTs Negeri 1 Bantul. The study was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I consisted of 2 meetings, and cycle II consisted of 3 meetings. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning method group investigation can increase activities and student achievement in demographic and environmental materials beings subjects of IPA in the class IX C MTs Negeri 1 Bantul. Increasing the activities of student learning based on data from the observation are enaugh category in cycle I, and high category in cycle II. Increasing the activities of student learning based on data from the questionnaire are: 64,82% in early learning, 67,58% in cycle I, and 75,11% in cycle II, the entire cycle in the high category. Improving student achievement can be seen from the mean, the number of student who completed, and the clasical completeness. The mean increased from 39,4 at the placement test, 79,2 in cycle I, and 83,9 in cycle II. The number of students increased from no student get completed the placement test, is 23 students in cycle I, and 30 students in cycle II. Clasical completeness increased from 0% at the placement test became 71,88% in cycle I, 93,75% in cycle II.
