Abstract

This study aims to determine the effort to improve the achievement of natural science learning through cooperative learning model type Investigation Group in grade V students in MIN Semanu Gunungkidul Regency School year 2013/2014. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were all students of class V MIN Semanu Gunungkidul Regency which amounted to 18 students consisting of 7 male students and 11 female students. The object of this research is the Group Investigation model. The steps of the TOD include planning, implementation, observation, test and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) the use of Group Investigation model can improve students' learning achievement of IPA. The average value in class V MIN Semanu of Gunungkidul Regency at precycle equal to 68,89 with learn 55,56% completeness with enough criterion. After implemented the study with Group Investigation model increased in the first cycle average score became 74.28 with mastery learning of 72.22 including high criteria. In cycle II the average score becomes 76,72 with learning completeness 88,89 including very high criterion. (2) an increase in the implementation of learning processes and students. From the data, it can be concluded that the application of Group Investigation model can improve the learning achievement of science in grade V students Semanu Gunungkidul.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of the values of Pancasila and improving learning achievement through the implementation of a learning model PKn cooperative learning with the method of picture and picture. This research uses research methods class with action through two cycles consist of introduction, core activities, and cover. The results showed that: (1) the method of cooperative learning model picture and picture can improve understanding of the material values of Pancasila grade 4 at MIN 2 Sleman; (2) an increase in the extent of the success of the results of the study on the understanding of material on the first cycle to the second cycle of 8.0% to the level of success on the first cycle of 80.4% success rate on cycle 2 of 88.4%. Furthermore, the results of this research are expected to improve the understanding of the material values of pancasila continuously at MIN 2 Sleman of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research aimed to explain the influence of work motivation and work environment on teacher performance of Muhammadiyah High School in Kebumen Regency. This study was quantitative (explanatory research). The population and sample of this research was all of teacher of Muhammadiyah High School in Kebumen Regency, that is 55 people. The data were collected using a questionaire, and analyzed using descriptive analysis, multiple liniear regression, t table, and F change. This research produces conclusions that the work motivation is significantly influence the teacher performance of the Muhammadiyah High School in Kebumen Regency, indicated by the t significant value of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) with the regression coefficient of 0.699. Work environment has a significant effect on the teacher performance of Muhammadiyah High School in Kebumen Regency, indicated by the t significant value of 0,014 less than α = 0.05 (0.014 <0.05) with the regression coefficient of 0.248. Work motivation and the work environment is simultaneously significant effecting the teacher performance of Muhammadiyah High School in Kebumen Regency, indicated by F significant value of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) and were able to contribute to the teacher performance variables of 0.726 or 72,6%, however the remaining 27,6% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this research.

Abstract

Its natural state and its geographic that are vulnerable to natural disasters and preparedness society that still minimal, so that required awareness about preparedness to reduce the risk of disasters, one of which is through education.This study attempts to described efforts madrasah in build hard and soft skills students for preparedness for disasters.The research is field research, with the approach descriptive qualitative.The data collection was done using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation.The method of analysis the data used in this research was reduction data, presentation of, and conclude.Examination the validity of this data use technique triangulation, member check, and increase reference. This research result indicates efforts madrasah in developing hard and soft skills students to preparedness for disasters through the islamic strategic policy, intrakurikuler learning activities, extracurricular, pembiasaan, and through cooperation with related parties to kebencanaan. In the intrakurikuler, soft skills students in basic knowledge in dealing with disasters, social care, an attitude toward the developed through talks with the interactive learning, discussion, training facilities use library and nurse as the source. For teaching, would be integrated into the subject is. In extracurricular activities, the efforts to build up the hard skills students be integrated into the direct practices in the simulation disaster held regularly and extracurricular activities the boy scouts. Besides that there training by the nurse, pmi, and community health centers. The policy of the head master of madrassa Islamic religious scool by the daily activities can make the cultures of preparadness for students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the correlation between the understanding of the importance of prayer worship and practice for students of SMK N 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul. This research using library research. The results showed that there was a relationship or a convincing correlation between the understanding of the importance of prayer and the practice of Worship for students grade 10 SMK N 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul training year 2017/2018. The results of the calculation of the value of the correlation coefficient between variables Moment Product Knowledge of the importance of prayer Worship (variable X) and practice (variable Y) for students of SMK N 2 Wonosari, Gunungkidul can note that a 5% level, r xy = 0.458 and r = 0.274. While the standard of 1%, r xy = 0.458 and r = 0.361, shows that the two are significant.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning process in the classroom, to increase interest in and the results of learning math grade VII B MTs Country I Bantul, especially at the subject of flat areas of rectangle using learning methods examples non examples. This research is a research action class that is intended to solve the existing problems in the classroom by utilizing real action then happens and do a reflection against the results of the action. Research progress of pre cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2, each cycle is divided into three times. Each cycle consists of three phases, namely, planning, execution and observation, reflection. The results showed that the implementation of learning by using learning methods examples non examples in class 1 MTsN VII B Bantul can increase interest and learning results. It can be seen from the learning interest of students in classes VII B at low cycle 31.3% pre and the cycle is currently 43.7%, cycle 1 are 50% and 47% Higher, cycle-cycle II were 44% and 50% higher cycle. While the observations on interest in learning of students from 75% to 85% in cycle II and the results of study students complete 50% to 72% complete on cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of teachers as an effort in carrying out the assessment based on the curriculum at MIN 2 Gunungkidul through structured guidance. The subject of research is the teachers of Gunungkidul MIN 2 years of 2017/2018 Lesson 8 persons consist of 2 teachers are male and 6 female teachers. The research was conducted in three cycles. Research data obtained through observation assessment administration and observation classes. Assessment based on the curriculum on 2013 cycle I the ability of teachers in mastering techniques scoring average value of 74.56. In cycle II, the ability of a teacher in mastering techniques scoring average 84.5. Cycle III the ability of teachers in mastering techniques scoring average value of 87.53. Of the observations obtained improvement belongs to the criteria either. This means that with structured guidance method can be used to improve the ability of teachers in carrying out an assessment based on the curriculum 2013 at MIN 2 Gunungkidul.

Abstract

The head master is chairman of education has an important role in increasing the quality of education, closely between the quality of head master with various aspects of the life of the madrasa as a discipline, the cultural climate of the madrasa and declining the behavior of the students. In addition, the head master is responsible for managing education microcomputer which is directly related to the learning process in the madrasa. Total Quality Management (TQM) or Integrated Quality Management (MMT) as a way of changing the paradigm of madrasah ibtidaiyah in managerial which aims to improve the quality of education at madrasah. Application of the TQM concept in the management of education indicates that the institution is the service industry to serve customers who have needs and how to satisfy customers. Thus the success of the madrasah is the success of the head master in the exercise of leadership and the ability to manajerialnya. The managerial capacity of the head master through education and training is an alternative management of madrasah in conceptual and empirical proved to be able to improve the quality of the madrasa. The head master has a very important role in the improvement of character education, therefore the candidate head of the madrasa and it shall be a good teacher, in order to carry out its role and its function with no exception. The difference in the condition of madrasa affect managerial development and improvement of the head of the madrasa for improving the quality of education at madrasah.

Abstract

Peers have a major influence on the development of a teenager. This influence occurs and visible impact on the daily behavior of a person. In addition to in everyday life, peer influence can also be felt in the learning process. One of the methods that use this approach is peer mentoring or commonly known as peer tutoring methods. This study was prepared to see the influence of peer mentoring or peer tutoring methods in learning Jurisprudence are still included in the subject cluster of Islamic Education for the funeral prayer practice material. Subjects in this study was the students of class X MAN 2 Bantul Mathematics 2 consists of 34 students. The treatment of the subject is done to a minimum. It aims to be able to see the natural method used is more focused on observation of the behavior of subjects and assessment of the results. The results of this study show that even with minimal treatment, peer tutoring method proved to have an influence on the successful education of students. It can be seen from the learning process more fluid, more active learners, relationships between friends in the learning process becomes warmer. Some of the obstacles posed serious concerns for learning is reduced. In addition, the closeness between friends looked dominant when there is no special treatment given to the learners. Learners prefer to be accompanied by a friend of the most familiar, is not considered the most capable in the subject matter.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the management of the Hizbul Wathan extracurricular activities include planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring activities in order to form the character of leadership high school students Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. The results showed that: (1) management of extracurricular activities extracurricular activities in high school Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta 2 i.e. includes planning activities, organizing, implementing and monitoring activities. (2) the factors supporting the management of extracurricular Hizbul Wathan is: support from the school, the availability of competent human resources, adequate infrastructure and facilities, allocating time, and students that followed the event. Factors restricting extracurricular Hizbul Wathan is management: students, i.e. students who rarely follow Hizbul Wathan extracurricular activities, there is a sudden event as well as the existence of activities extracurricular activities collide with Hizbul Wathan. (3) the results of extracurricular activities Hizbul Wathan in SMA Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta 2 i.e. the growing attitude of responsibility, independent and honest nature to students, students are able to understand and apply the material activities in daily activities, and the growing interest of students towards extracurricular activities Hizbul Wathan.
