Use solvent methanol and ethanol proven increase acquisition compounds said , which then contribute to mechanism Work antimicrobial through effect antioxidants and damage membrane cell bacteria . Innovative approaches such as green nanoparticle synthesis have also been shown to have the potential to improve the stability of the extract, thus supporting the development of alternative therapeutic applications to overcome antibiotic resistance. Objective: this study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity of methanol extract of Bandotan leaves against S. aureus and identify bioactive compounds, as well as highlight the integration of traditional knowledge with research innovations in the treatment of skin infections. This systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA method. The literature search process was carried out through Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct databases, focusing on studies published between 2020 and 2024. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were observational studies that tested the antibacterial activity of Bandotan leaf extract. Of the 1086 articles initially identified, based on the PICO method, the systematic review's study selection. Initially, 1086 records were identified from databases like Google Scholar and PubMed. After removing 61 duplicates, 1025 records underwent screening. Exclusions included 249 systematic reviews, 270 irrelevant Bandotan studies, 112 with inadequate methods, 200 lacking exclude full text unvailable, and 189 outside the research scope. Finally 5 studies include criteria . Results: the study showed that Bandotan leaf extract, both extracted with ethanol and methanol, effectively inhibited the growth of various pathogenic bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and Propionibacterium acnes. In vitro tests conducted for 24 hours using the agar diffusion method revealed a dose-response correlation, where increasing extract concentrations resulted in wider inhibition zones. In addition, the integration of the extract into product formulations, such as anti-acne sheet masks, suggests that this extract also has potential for skin care applications. Abstract

The problem of stunting in Indonesia is still high, with a prevalence between 17.6% and 42.6%, especially in 3T (Disadvantaged, Remote, and Outermost) areas such as Bengkulu and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). One of the main obstacles is the limited tools to detect stunting risk and the lack of maternal role in prevention. For this reason, the One House One Stunting Risk Detection Measuring Tool (ALKURTING) intervention was developed. The study used a quasi-experimental design involving 120 clown mothers from Kupang Regency, NTT, and Kepahyang Regency, Bengkulu. Samples were selected using purposive sampling. Inclusion criteria include mothers aged 20-40 years, who live in the local area and can read and write, and children who do not have comorbidities. The instruments used were questionnaires, feasibility test forms, and forms for filling out anthropometric survey results. Data analysis through feasibility tests and intervention effectiveness tests. The feasibility test showed that ALKURTING was very good, with a percentage of media feasibility of 86.8% and material feasibility of 83.3%, meaning that almost all mothers recommended ALKURTING users. The 1 house 1 ALKURTING intervention effectively increased the score of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of clown mothers in Kepahyang and Kupang Regency (p-value<0.05). ALKURTING is a tool suitable for detecting stunting risk in 3T areas. The One House One ALKURTING intervention is effective in improving maternal behavior in detecting stunting risk. It is necessary to expand the intervention to other 3T areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

Patient loyalty is an important indicator of the success of a healthcare facility. Building patient loyalty is not an easy task. Many factors influence a patient's decision to remain loyal to a healthcare facility. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze various factors that influence patient loyalty in health services. Methods: This research uses a literature study approach by reviewing national and international articles published in the period 2020-2024. The articles selected were limited to scientific publications available in full-text format and freely accessible. Literature sources were obtained from three main databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, and SciSpace. The search strategy was carried out using keywords based on the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) framework, such as “health services”, “factors” and patient loyalty”, resulting in 615 articles. The process of analyzing articles using PRISMA, searching and filtering journal articles began by identifying 615 articles from three main databases, Google Scholar (401 articles), PubMed (7 articles), and SciSpace (207 articles). At the initial stage, duplicate articles were eliminated, and the number of articles remaining after this screening was 107. In the screening process from this stage, 84 articles were excluded because they did not meet the predetermined criteria, so only 23 articles entered the next stage. At the eligibility stage, further selection was carried out by considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of the 23 articles screened, 13 did not meet the criteria and were excluded from the selection process. In the end, only 10 articles met all the requirements and were included in the further review stage. Abstract

The prevalence of smoking among adolescents aged 10-18 years in Indonesia continues to increase every year from 7.2% in 2013 to 9.1% in 2018. SKI data in 2023 shows that the number of active smokers is estimated to reach 70 million people, with 7.4% of them smokers aged 10-18 years. On the other hand, e-cigarette users among adolescents have increased in the last 4 years, rising from 0,3% in 2019 to 3% in 2021. The 2029 RPJMN mandates that the target prevalence of smokers aged 10-21 years is 6.9%. Meanwhile, Bappenas projects that the prevalence of adolescent smoking in Indonesia in 2030 can reach 16.96% if efforts to prevent and control smoking in adolescents are not carried out optimally. The impact of smoking behavior is not only on individual health, but also public health, potentially triggering chronic diseases, increasing health costs, and threatening the welfare of future generations, especially the Golden Indonesia in 2045. The purpose of this research is as an effort to plan a follow-up to the development of screening and efforts to quit adolescent smoking in schools that are more innovative and attractive to adolescents. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design using a policy alternative analysis matrix. There are 17 references used. The stages of the Systematic Literature Review are divided into 4 stages, namely Planning (designing review questions and planning methods), Data Collection (keyword search, title and abstract screening, filtering & assessment, data extraction), Analysis Stage (descriptive and thematic analysis), then ending with Synthesis (discussion). By synthesizing research results through a systematic review approach and presenting them in the form of actionable messages (policy brief and policy paper), more conclusive, comprehensive and balanced facts can be conveyed to stakeholders.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Failure is a disease that occurs when the kidneys no longer function optimally in maintaining metabolism and fluid and electrolyte balance in the body due to damage to the kidney structure. CKD disease that is not managed properly can result in complications, therefore the form of support that can be given is to ensure that the patient's quality of life remains optimal, one of which is by increasing self-efficacy. This research is very important to carry out information to CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis that patients must be able to increase the patient's confidence or belief that with hemodialysis therapy the patient can maintain his life. A person's quality of life will improve when the patient begins to accept the disease he is suffering from and adheres to the treatment process. Research objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and the quality of life of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD Prof.Dr.W.Z. Johannes Kupang City in 2024. The type of research used is analytical observational, with a cross sectional research design. The total sample was 115 patients taken based on total sampling. The questionnaires used were the World Health Organization of Life-BREF (WHOQOL_BREF) and General Self Efficacy (GSE). Data from each variant carried out in the research, namely the self-efficacy variable and the quality of life variable, were tested using the Chi-square test. Research. From the results of data analysis on the self-efficacy variable and the quality of life variable, a p-value of 0.001 (p-0.005) was obtained, which means that Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the self-efficacy variable and the quality of life of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. at RSUD Prof. Dr. W.Z Johannes Kupang City in 2024.

Abstract

This review aimed to investigate the interplay between dietary components and epigenetic modulation in the pathogenesis of hypertension. A comprehensive literature search encompassing all published primary and secondary research dating up to March 2024 was carried out on several electronic databases, including MEDLINE, EBSCO-Host, Science Direct, ProQuest, and Google Scholar. Individual genomes and dietary intake exhibit a bidirectional relationship, influencing the hypertension risk. Unhealthy dietary patterns can compromise DNA integrity through DNA methylation and histone acetylation, ultimately affecting both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Dietary macronutrient composition (carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins) significantly alters the expression of specific microRNAs (miRNAs) known to regulate endothelial function and blood pressure homeostasis. Moreover, micronutrients (vitamin A, D, E, Zinc, Iodine, and Sodium) can exert epigenetic effects on blood pressure via receptor interactions, potentially modifying cardiovascular disease risk. Dietary imbalances in macro and micronutrients can epigenetically influence hypertension development. Addressing these deficiencies through targeted interventions may offer a complementary approach to hypertension treatment.
