<![CDATA[The rapid influence of the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) requires educators to harness the technological results in the learning process and gain access to broader (global) knowledge. Likewise educators are required to develop skills to make learning media so that learning can run effectively, interesting, generate motivation and provoke creativity of learners. This activity aims at (a) Developing teacher competence in designing instructional media based on information and communication technology (b) Developing teachers' skill in making learning media and (c) Increasing teacher's insight in utilizing technology and communication. Through the community service activities of the State University of Padang held training efforts to improve the ability of teachers in making meida learning based on information technology in SMKN 1 Batipuh. The method of devotion chosen is the training with the target of 25 teachers with the material of designing, manufacturing and using learning media with power point, lecture training method, question and answer, demonstration and workshop. Presentation of theory and practice held for 2 days located at SMKN 1 Batipuh West Sumatra. The result of the dedication activity is 25 participants have competence marked by the improvement indicator on the ability of designing, making and using learning media with power point.]]>

<![CDATA[Many can be used to improve the quality of teachers (teachers), among others, the implementation of Classroom Action Research (PTK). Closed education will increase if teachers have and compose a diagogic, personality, competence, and professional competency. PTK is the most appropriate step to improve the quality of learning. This quality improvement will positively affect teachers and teachers. For teachers, PTK is a reflective action over the learning that it does. Selamaini, the teacher is still considered and assumes his or her other resources out of less effort to improve the model and the learning model used. By performing the TOD, the teacher will know the actual condition that he or she faces. The workshop participants were provided with knowledge about the aspects of PTK sertacar in the preparation of a good PTK and hope that they could provide refreshment to teachers relating to the TOD, so that the teachers could do the research as well as to solve the problem of the teaching process they lead. In addition, the objective is also to stimulate teachers to produce a written article published in the field of education. In the case of the Service to the community this teacher is directly guided so as to be able to make the PTK in a separate, multi-disciplinary / offshore environment. From the activities undertaken by the team found a very significant improvement in terms of understanding of teachers in preparing the PTK. This is obtained from the pre test (question and answer) conducted ahead of the activity and post test post activities. Although there is a significant increase in understanding, there is still a need for teachers' independence and intuition in understanding the compilation of TOD more deeply. The Community Service Team provides wide access for workshop participants to communicate both orally and through social networking so that the competence can be developed. In addition, the team devotion to the community also provides modules and literature that can be used as a reference in the preparation of PTK.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of automotive technology is increasing rapidly along with the high level of competition among producers. According to data compiled by the Association of Indonesian Motorcycle Industry (AISI) in 2015-2016 there was an increase in the number of motorcycle sales of about 4.6% or an increase of 5.8 million units for. The high level of sales and technological developments leaving the problem for the automotive business itself. One of the problems that often happens is the slow absorption of technological progress to the hands of users. Motorcycle service workshops and bottom-line businesspeople are very vulnerable to the impact of this technology transfer process. This situation indirectly affects the sluggish economic movements among the bottom because they lack access (training and access to the latest sources of technology references). This situation should be a special concern for the top of the automotive business activists and also practitioners / academics related to the rapid development of technology produced can give impacts of rapid economic growth also for lower-level business people.The Up Grade skill program of motorcycle service involves a partner group (workshop) consisting of 6 people mechanics who are still in the beginner category. The training materials provided are tune up, conventional motorcycle overhaul (carburetor) and tune up injection motorcycle. Training is held for 2 full days (equivalent to 20 hours) with competency test process on the last day of the program. From the training activities can be seen the improvement of mechanical competence obtained from the pre-test at the beginning of the training and post test at the end of the activity.Through the program of Community Service of Regular Science and Technology is expected proposers can play its role as an academic in helping accelerate the process of technology transfer, especially for lower-level business people who do have limited access to technology. After the end of this program is expected to increase the mechanical skills as well as the increased service quality and competitiveness of partner workshops.]]>

<![CDATA[SMK students of Automotive department, Especially Light Vehicle Engineering, need some skills that will be used when students are finishing the study at school. One of the skill are they have good competency of electroni fuel injection system (EFI system). The purpose of the training program is to develop and improve the ability of automotive technology, especially ototronc technology, basic knowledge of EFI system, and to train and guide SMK student. For diagnostic and trouble shooting of EFI system. This training program uses the several method, i.e; presentation, watching video and animation of EFI system, discussion, demonstration, guidence and direct practical. After done this training, have improvement of knowledge and skill of trainee. On of indicator is improvement of postest value, i.e; have mean about 119% from pre-test value. Beside that, based on observation as long as training proggram, attitude and skills of trainees are better than befor.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze and see the effect of Communication between parents with children and interest in economic learning of economic learning outcomes in students MAN 1 Pesisir Selatan.The type of this research is descriptive and associative research. The study population was all students of MAN 1 Pesisir Selatan which amounted to 301 people, the sample number was 172 people.The sampling technique is done by proportional random sampling.The data source is primary data and secondary data, primary data in the form of questionnaire that is run on the respondent, while the secondary data is about student learning outcomes obtained from the documentation.Test the instrument using validity and reliability test.Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inductive analysis, namely normality test, heterokedastisity test and multicollinearity test, data analysis using multiple regression analysis and hypothesis test using F test and t test.The results showed that: 1) Communication between parents with children significantly influence the students' economic learning outcomes2) Interest in economic learning has a significant effect on students' economic learning outcomes3) Communication between parents with children and interest in economics have a significant effect on student learning outcomes]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research are: (1) to describe the planning of academic supervision by supervising school supervisory technique periodically at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teacher in designing HOTS-based questions; (2) to describe the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisor at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of mathematics teacher in designing HOTS-based questions; (3) to describe the evaluation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisors at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teachers in HOTS-based problem-solving; (4) to describe the supporting factors and factors inhibiting the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisors in Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teachers in the design of HOTS-based questions; and (5) to describe solution or effort to overcome the obstacle factor of the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisor on Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teacher in designing HOTS based problems. The research method used to examine the problem is qualitative descriptive method. This qualitative research procedure follows a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral words of persons and observable behavior. Research Sites at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City based in Senior High School of Vocational State Number 2 in Bengkulu city. In this study, the subjects studied were the active members of Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City, which amounted to about 20 of mathematics teachers of Senior High School of Vocational subjects throughout the city of Bengkulu. Based on the results of the study and discussion focused it can be concluded that the technical supervision of school supervisors on a regular basis in Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City was able to improve the ability of math teachers in designing problems based on HOTS in the school year 2016/2017. With the technical supervision of school supervisors on a regular basis at the Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City was able to contribute to improving the ability of math teachers in designing HOTS-based questions according to rules and procedures required.]]>

<![CDATA[Creativity is an important role in the education of Fashion Education because only creative individuals can produce creative ideas and products. The Fashion Education has to perform its function for the formation of character, work culture, personality, skill, knowledge, behavior and various life skill according to the demands of work world. Fashion Education is still not maximized in developing the creativity of students, especially the ability to think creatively in solving the problems of daily life that it faces. For that required the creativity of educators to foster student creativity. Student creativity will emerge, if the teacher as a pilot in the classroom also has adequate creativity. The subject matter that has been prepared in the syllabus, should be well developed to achieve the predetermined educational objectives. The development of creativity can be done with brainstorming learning, giving motivation, bringing creative people to school and not limit the student excessively by directing students to express and actualize themselves in relation to oneself, to nature, and to others.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this classroom action research is to: (1) describe mathematics learning in simple matter of powers and roots in grade V elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu by applying 'Paper and Nokrumtul' props; and (2) to describe the effectiveness of the Implementation of 'Paper and Nokrumtul' Toolkit on Improving Learning Outcomes of Simple Departments and Roots to Grade V Students in elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu. The location of this class action research activity is at elementary school State number 2 South Bengkulu. Students who are the subject of this study are students in class V with the number of 20 people consisting of 12 men of gender and 8 others came from the female sex, all students as subjects of this study will be subject to action in accordance with the flow real learning. From the results of learning activities that have been done for two cycles, and based on all the discussion and analysis that has been done can be concluded that the learning by applying the props "Paper and Nokrumtul" has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes in class V elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu which is marked by the improvement of student learning outcomes in each cycle, the average value of student learning outcomes reached 78.75 with 80% learning completeness in cycle I and average learning outcomes reached 86.25 with 100% complete learning in cycle II . Implementation of learning with props "Paper and Nokrumtul" in the math lessons also have a positive influence, which can increase the motivation of students. Thus the application of learning through props "Paper and Nokrumtul" proved effective to improve learning outcomes of students.]]>
