Abstract

Farmers' income level is generally influenced by many factors. Several factors related to the income level are the factors that come from the society itself, among others, from the socio-economic characteristics of the farmers themselves. Organic rice farming is one of the commodities that have bright prospects to increase farmers' income. This can motivate farmers to develop organic farming in the hope that the harvest will get high yields. The dangers posed by modern agricultural farming systems to health and the environment lead to increased public demand for organic products. The objectives of this research are: (1) The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the characteristics of farmers, (2) to analyze the total cost and income and income of organic rice, (3) to analyze the efficiency level and BEP (Break Even Point) certified organic rice farming. The sampling method used in this research is simple random sampling with 40 farmers calculated by Slovin formula. The analysis used are: (1) Average Scale Analysis for farmer characteristics (2) method of cost analysis and income and farm income, and (3) Analysis of farm efficiency using R / C (Return Cost Ratio) analysis method. The location of research is determined by purposive that is Dlingo Village, District Mojosongo, Boyolali District. The results of this study conclude that: (1) Characteristics of organic farmers play a role more than women, ages of organic farming above 50 years, Most farmers in Dlingo village have lived for more than 30 years, the main livelihood farmers are men. agricultural sector. (2) Based on the total average total cost for organic farming from certified group on average Rp.20.495.000, - Average income Rp. 35.000.000, -. Revenue per planting season is Rp. 14505.000, -. The organic certified farmer group earns a R / C ratio of 1.7, indicating that R / C> 1, then the farm with a certified organic system is efficient. Rice farm with certified organic system is advantageous because BEP value of production volume is 2,927 <farmer production, while BEP value is production price 4,099 <selling price at farmer level. Keywords: Characteristics, Organic farming, income, efficiency

Abstract

The reality in the field shows that not all lowland rice varieties which include local varieties, old superior varieties, new superior varieties and new types of varieties are suitable for organic cultivation because each group of varieties has different physiological characters. This research was carried out with the aim of determining the suitable lowland rice varieties for organic cultivation based on physiological characters. The research was carried out through pot experiments to determine the suitability of lowland rice varieties including local varieties, old varieties, new varieties, and new types of superior varieties in organic cultivation based on their physiological characteristics. with an altitude of 113 m above sea level with inceptisol soil types and tropical climate. The results showed that organic cultivation did not reduce root permeability to N uptake except for Cisedane variety. Organic cultivation lowered the KPK for the roots of the IR64, Cianjur and Mentikwangi varieties, but increased the KPK for the roots of the Pandanwangi and Cisedane varieties. The uptake rate of N, P, and K roots in organic cultivation was not different from conventional cultivation. The uptake of N roots in organic cultivation was lower than conventional cultivation. The uptake of N, P, and K by roots between varieties was not different. Organic cultivation reduced the uptake of N stems of varieties IR64, Mentikwangi and Cisedane. Among the varieties tested, there was no difference in N uptake in conventional or organic cultivation. Organic cultivation reduced the P uptake of stems of IR64 and Mentikwangi varieties, Organic cultivation decreased total N uptake of Mentikwangi varieties. In conventional and organic cultivation, the plant N uptake of all tested rice varieties was no different.

Abstract

The use of chemical fertilizers with high doses and continuously in soybean cultivation can have a negative impact. Efforts to increase soybean production in an environmentally friendly manner need to be done, including using organic fertilizers and biological fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect of doses of cow manure and kinds of biological fertilizers on the growth of soybean varieties Devon I. The research was conducted in Teguhan Village, Karangmalang District, Sragen Regency, altitude 86 m asl, with soil type Grumosol (PPT Vertisol). This study used a completely randomized block design (RAKL) with two treatment factors, namely the first factor the dose of cow manure consisted of 3 levels, namely P0 = 0 tons/ha, P1 = 10 tons / ha, P2 = 20 tons / ha, and kinds of fertilizers. Biological consists of 4 levels, namely H0 = without biological fertilizers, H1 = Trichoderma, H2 = mycorrhizae, H3 = Trichoderma and mycorrhizae. This study did not use inorganic fertilizers. The results showed that the dose of cow manure had a significant effect on soybean growth, but the type of biological fertilizer and the interaction between the dose of cow manure and the type of biological fertilizer had no significant effect on soybean growth. From the growth achieved, the use of cow manure accompanied by biofertilizer Trichoderma and mycorrhizae has the potential to increase soybean yields.

Abstract

Organic farming is increasingly being applied to several agricultural commodities, one of which is rice as a rice-producing commodity and as a staple crop of most of Indonesia's population. In addition, the benefits of organic rice for the environment do not damage the environment, do not pollute the environment with synthetic chemicals and increase natural environmental productivity, as well as creating a balanced and sustainable ecosystem. The location of this research was conducted in the Pangudi Bogo farmer group in Dlingo Village, Mojosongo District, Boyolali District. The Pango Bogo group has received certification from the organic seloliman certification body (LESOS) and has consistently met the requirements of the SNI SOP GAP guidelines and the Internal Control System Document (ICS). This research uses descriptive analysis to illustrate the application of organic rice farming SOP-GAP. The influence of internal and external factors on the decision, the application of SOP-GAP and the handling of crop yields was tested using spermant rank correlation analysis. Based on the results of this study. SOP-GAP is a way to cultivate organic rice, which is to plant rice without using chemicals as a supplement or to repel pests and weeds. This SOP_GAP covers the types of maintenance, fertilization, irrigation and pest control activities. Maintenance is generally carried out by farmers by following organic farming instructions. Organic products and one of them is organic rice is a product that is currently of concern to consumers, especially consumers with upper middle economic level. This is because organic products are products that do not contain chemicals which have recently been the subject of discussion that chemicals in food ingredients cause various diseases. For those who have a sufficient economic level, then their attention is focused on health which is currently very expensive. That's why they turned to organic food products.
