Abstract

This study attempts to observe the implementation of transparency and accountability in OPZ by comparing two OPZs that have different management bases. Therefore, BAZNAS Medan City and Lazismu Medan City were chosen as the subjects of this study. This study aims to conduct a specific and measurable comparative study between BAZNAZ Medan City and Lazismu in Medan City with a focus on Accountability Indicators, Analyzing how well both institutions present financial reports, including reports on the use of funds, audits, and monitoring mechanisms. Then Transparency Indicators to Measure the level of openness of information to the public, such as accessibility of financial reports, use of social media, and community involvement in the management process, then Public Perception, Using a survey to measure the level of public trust in BAZ and LAZ, as well as the factors that influence their decisions in distributing zakat. This study is expected to provide clear and measurable insights into the practice of accountability and transparency of financial reporting in zakat management organizations in Medan City.

Abstract

The development of the cosmetics world in Indonesia continues to show its graph on increasing use. Currently, many cosmetics are circulating among people who do not have halal certificates. This research aims to see the influence of product innovation, understanding of halal certificates, and product literacy on the millennial generation's decision to buy cosmetic products in the city of Medan. From the results of the study, it was found that there was a significant influence of product innovation on the millennial generation's decision to buy cosmetic products, by 57.89%. Then, there is a significant influence of the Understanding of Halal Certificate on the millennial generation's decision to buy cosmetic products, by 39.05%. And there is no significant influence of product literacy on the millennial generation's decision to buy cosmetic products

Abstract

JNE dan JT merupakan top brand perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang yang bekerja sama dengan e-commerce dalam hal pengantaran barang dari penjual kepada konsumen. Akan tetapi dari observasi yang dilakukan, banyak keluhan dari konsumen atas ketidakpuasan mereka terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan kedua perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang tersebut. Pelayanan adalah setiap keiatan yang diperuntukkan untuk memberikan kepuasan kepada pelanggan, dan kepuasan konsumen merupakan perasaan senang atau kecewa seseorang yang muncul setelah membandingkan kinerja (hasil) produk yang dipikirkan terhadap kinerja yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis komparatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu accidental sampling, Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji beda yaitu Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan pada perusahaan jasa pengiriman JNT dan JT.

Abstract

This study examines thematic interpretations and hadiths related to things that are prohibited in Islam from the perspective of Islamic economics. Islam as a comprehensive religion regulates various aspects of life, including economics. In this context, the study aims to explore the teachings contained in the Qur'an and Hadith regarding prohibitions related to economic activities, such as usury, fraud, monopoly, and injustice in transactions. The method used is the thematic interpretation approach (maudhu'i) to interpret relevant verses of the Qur'an and analysis of hadiths related to the principles of Islamic economics.. The results of the study show that these prohibitions are not only intended to maintain social and moral balance, but also to encourage the creation of an economic system based on justice, transparency, and the welfare of the people. The implications of this study provide important insights for the application of Islamic economic principles in everyday life and the development of more equitable economic policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbandingan hasil upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh beberapa masjid di Kota Medan, seperti Masjid Raya Al-Hasanah, Masjid Al-Hidayah, dan Masjid Al-„Arif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan penggunaan data primer dan sekunder, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memastikan keabsahan informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga masjid tersebut memiliki program, potensi, hambatan, dan kontribusi yang berbeda. Meskipun demikian, mereka memiliki kesamaan dalam program usaha seperti minimarket dan layanan jasa seperti service AC dan doorsmeer. Potensi ekonomi dari masjid-masjid ini terletak pada Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas dan infrastruktur yang memadai. Namun, hambatan juga ditemukan dalam bentuk lokasi usaha yang kurang strategis dan kelengkapan barang di minimarket. Sebagai hasil dari upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi, Masjid Raya Al-Hasanah, Masjid Al-Hidayah, dan Masjid Al-„Arif memberikan kontribusi kepada jamaah dan masyarakat dengan memberikan bantuan seperti uang tunai, sembako, modal usaha, dan bantuan beasiswa kepada masyarakat yang kurang mampu.

Abstract

The diversity of adjacent land referred to here is how on earth there are parts of land that are side by side but have different characteristics. even though the lands are close together, they can produce crops that differ in taste and type. It shows the natural wonders and diversity that exist on earth. This concept is found in the Al-Quran Surah Ar-Rad verse 4 and this verse implies the existence of soil science (geology and geophysics) and environmental science (ecology) and their influence on the properties of plants. It is scientifically known that rice field soil consists of mineral grains of various sources, sizes and composition, water that comes from rain, air, organic substances that come from plant waste and other living creatures that are above or in the layers. land. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to have a concept of integration between religion and science in the Islamic world. This research is library research, using a descriptive approach method. The data used was obtained from primary data in the form of the Al-Qur'an and hadith interpretations. And secondary literature data that supports the primary research.

Abstract

The concept of homoeconomicus studies has shortcomings that can be seen clearly when viewed rationally. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a type of library research or library research. Which is a type of research whose findings are not obtained through quantitative procedures and uses data analysis methods in the form of content analysis. The results of this research are that Homoeconomicus is an attitude that will never be satisfied, has needs and desires, has a preference to behave based on individual interests, is efficient (considering costs and benefits obtained. and is unable to take care of assets (su'u tasharruf). Islam has regulates the care of orphans in the Al-Qur'an. As for people who are given a will or given the task of caring for, looking after and caring for orphans, they are called guardians as contained in the Al-Qur'an, surah an-nisa verses 2-6, the author can conclude that the verse contains capable values applied in everyday life, the values contained in this verse include: Loving orphans, not giving authority to the safih group, always giving infaq, speaking kind words, being fair and not consuming the wealth of orphans.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meaning of the word Fortune and the doors to obtaining sustenance based on the signs of the Koran. This research includes qualitative descriptive research with a thematic interpretive research format. This research data is secondary. Secondary data is data that contains ideas, ideas and interpretations of interpreters. The results of this research show that the word "sustenance" is mentioned 123 times in the Al-Quran with different fi'il forms, contents and meanings. The meaning of sustenance is everything that is useful that Allah makes lawful, in the form of clothing, food, possessions. That all includes sustenance. Likewise, sons or daughters are included in sustenance. Also included in this are health, hearing and vision. Sources of human sustenance based on God's promises to humans include: sustenance from effort, sustenance from gratitude, sustenance that has been guaranteed, sustenance from istitighfar, sustenance from charity, sustenance from marriage, sustenance from children, and unexpected sustenance.

Abstract

E-commerce has become one of the important innovations in facilitating the implementation of the salam contract, a sharia-based transaction in which payment is made in advance for goods to be delivered at a later date. With features such as pre-orders, digital payment systems, and logistics management, e-commerce platforms enable salam transactions to be carried out more transparently, efficiently, and in accordance with sharia principles. In addition, the wide market reach in e-commerce provides opportunities for business actors, especially MSMEs, to expand access to their products nationally and internationally. However, the implementation of the salam contract in e-commerce faces a number of challenges, such as late delivery of goods and the potential for unclear product specifications. To overcome this problem, the integration of technologies such as increased sharia supervision are important solutions. With further optimization, e-commerce can act as a catalyst in supporting the development of the sharia economy in the digital era. This study shows that e-commerce not only facilitates transactions, but also has the potential to strengthen trust and inclusivity in sharia-based trade.

Abstract

Kondisi perekonomian yang terus berubah membuat Bank Mega Syariah menjalankan strategi kinerja keuangan agar dapat mempertahankan profitabilitasnya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat profitabilitas suatu bank. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor kinerja keuangan, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Finance (NPF), dan Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) terhadap profitabilitas Bank Mega Syariah yang diukur dengan Return on Assets (ROA) selama periode 2019-2023. Untuk menguji hipotesis, data diuji dengan menggunakan statistik SPSS sebagai bagian dari metodologi penelitian kuantitatif. Berdasarkan data tersebut, CAR, NPF, dan FDR secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA, karena CAR, NPF, dan FDR saling melengkapi dalam mencerminkan kesehatan permodalan, manajemen risiko, dan efisiensi pembiayaan. Namun, secara parsial FDR memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap profitabilitas dibandingkan CAR dan NPF yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Hasil ini terjadi karena pengelolaan pembiayaan yang dilakukan oleh Bank Mega Syariah cukup baik sehingga meskipun sempat mengalami penurunan jumlah pembiayaan yang diberikan selama pandemi Covid-19, Bank Mega Syariah mampu kembali meningkatkan FDR dan tetap meningkatkan CAR yang bersumber dari peningkatan aset melalui Investasi Sukuk (Obligasi Syariah). Sehingga hal ini juga berdampak pada tingkat pembiayaan bermasalah yang menurun.
