Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

Penelitian mengenai analisis sifat fisis tanah pada lahan perkebunan serta pengaruhnya terhadap kesuburan tanah sampai saat ini belum banyak dilakukan. Tanah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam kehidupan manusia, terutama di bidang pertanian dan perkebunan. Pengetahuan tentang sifat-sifat dasar dari tanah, seperti sifat fisika, kimia dan biologi tanah  merupakan suatu hal penting dan mendasar sebelum melangkah lebih jauh untuk membuka lahan. Oleh sebab itu, pengetahuan yang baik tentang sifat dasar tanah akan menunjang kualitas produksi perkebunan (tebriani, 2016).Di bumi terdapat banyak sekali jenis mineral. Lebih dari 95% dari jumlahnya tersebar pada kerak bumi dan lautan. Pada dasarnya mineral merupakan komponen penyusun batuan, yang merupakan bahan induk dari tanah (Porter:1987). Maka dari itu, secara tidak langsung mineral merupakan komponen dari tanah. Dalam pertanian dan perkebunan, tanah merupakan bahan vital sebagai tempat berkembangbiak tanaman atau tumbuhan. Pengetahuan secara rinci mengenai sifat-sifat fisik tanah dan tanaman merupakan hal yang mendasar di dalam pertanian, khususnya pada bidang ilmu tanah.Pengelompokan mineral penyusun batuan dan tanah berdasarkan golongannya terdiri dari golongan mineral Silikat, golongan mineral Oksida dan Hidroksida, golongan mineral Sulfida, golongan mineral Karbonat, golongan mineral Sulfat, dan golongan mineral Posfat.Berdasarkan jenis-jenis mineral di atas, yang termasuk dalam mineral magnetik adalah golongan mineral Oksida dan Hidroksida, sedangkan yang lainnya tergolong mineral non magnetik. Jenis mineral magnetik pada tanah dapat diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan metoda magnetik. Pemakaian metoda magnetik nantinya akan menghasilkan informasi mengenai nilai suseptibiltas, ukuran bulir dan jenis domain dari mineral magnetikyang terdapat pada tanah yang nantinya akan dihubungkan dengan faktor pedogenesis pada tanah (Lu, dkk., 2008; Safiuddin, dkk., 2011; Haris, 2013).Sebelumnya telah dilakukan penelitian tentang ukuran bulir dan jenis domain magnetic tanah perkebunan karet (tebriani,2016). Hasil penelitian pada tanah karet, didapatkan jenis domain yang berbeda antara tanah perkebunan karet subur dan kurang subur. Bertolak, timbul suatu pertanyaan apakah pada tanah perkebunan sawit subur dan kurang subur juga terdiri dari ukuran bulir dan jenis domain yang berbeda. Untuk menyelidiki hal ini maka dilakukan analisis tentang pengaruh ukuran bulir serta jenis domain magnetic terhadap kesuburan tanah perkebunan sawit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of plants in the school yard, knowing the use of garden plants as teaching materials on biodiversity material, and knowing the constraints and solutions in the use of garden plants as teaching material on biodiversity material in 34 KerinciState Junior High School. This is qualitative research by observing directly in the field. The object of research is the diversity of school yard plants as a material for biodiversity teaching materials in class VII. Research data comes from the principal, teacher and students as the object of research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in three stages. The first stage of data analysis during data collection took place, the second stage was carried out after data collection and the third stage was advanced data analysis in the form of data presentation.The results showed the diversity of school yard plants in Kerinci 34 State Junior High School there were 33 species with 18 families. Most families are Araceae and Euphorbiaceae. School yard plants in Kerinci 34 State Junior High School are used as teaching materials by taking photos of plants directly, the plants are classified so that they can be known of species or families, photos and results of the classification are made in the form of visual teaching materials in the form of pictures and applied to students. The obstacle experienced is that it takes a long time, the lack of interest of students to know the scientific name of each type of plant in the schoolyard, and the lack of clear communication between teachers and students. In applying teaching materials for school yard plants in 34 Kerinci State Junior High School, biology teachers collaborate with school personnel and students to overcome the obstacles faced by giving scientific names in each type of plant in Kerinci 34 State Junior High School, reminding students to really pay attention when the teacher applies the teaching materials of the school yard, and evaluate the results of the application of school yard teaching materials in the biodiversity lesson material, especially plant diversity.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan essay assessment berbasis Creative Problm Solving (CPS) menggunakan 4-D model. Tahap-tahap dalam 4-D model terdiri dari define, desain, development dan disseminate. Hasil analisis dari tahap definemenyataan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMAN 7 Padang masih rendah dan diperlukan pengembangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving. Langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah tahap design (perancangan).Perancangan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan landasan dan kesesuian pengembangan essay assessment dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap develop (pengembangan) yang meliputi uji validitas, praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Tahap validasi menunjukkan hasil bahwa lembar Essay assessmentvalid untuk diujicobakan. Setelah lembar Essay assessmentdinyatakan valid oleh validator, langkah berikutnya adalah melakukan uji coba untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektivannya. Data kepraktisan diambil dari observasi terhadap keterlaksanaan RPP, angket respon guru, dan angket respon peserta didik selama mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan lembar Essay assessment. Penelitian yang dilakukan ternasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan hasil uji praktikalitas lembar Essay assessment.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap sensor jarak HC-SR04 untuk pengunaannya pada percobaan gerak lurus suatu benda. Alat uji ini terdiri dari sebuah sensor jarak HC-SR04, arduino nano, tombol on/off dan tombol reset. Dari penelitian diperoleh dat karakteristik sensor y = 0,0175x +0,364 dimana x adalah durasi waktu yang dibutuhkan gelombang ultrasonik yang dikirimkan sensor sampai diterima kembali oleh sensor dan y adalah jarak yang diukur dengan mengunakan meteran atau sama dengan hasil pembacaan jarak oleh sensor. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian jarak pembacaan jarak oleh sensor diperoleh y=0,6969x + 7,8255dimana x adalah jarak yang diukur dengan meteran dan y adalah jarak yang dibaca oleh sensor.  Pada pengujian  diperoleh kesalahan deteksi sensor sebesar 17,57% dan pengaruh perpindahan posisi benda terhadap hasil pembacaan jarak oleh sensor sebesar 81,4%. Pencacah waktu pada alat bekerja dengan baik dengan kesalahan rata rata sebesar 0,185 . Sensor HC-SR04 dapat digunakan pada percobaan gerak lurus baik gerak lurus beraturan maupun gerak lurus berubah beraturan sampai sekitar 2 detik pertama pembacaan posisi benda oleh sensor. Sensor HC-SR04 membutuhkan waktu sekitar 1 detik untuk dapat kembali membaca posisi benda dengan benar.

Abstract

his research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, namely the same treatment given by educators to students in the classroom, whereas each individual has different characteristics or different abilities. Educators should adjust the learning model that is appropriate to the ability of each student, because students are smart, medium, and low. Besides that other causes include conventional learning,  educators only provide formulas without using interactive, interesting, fun and not boring media for learning, then giving training to students. This study aims to find out that the learning outcomes of science students by applying the Trait Treatment Interaction (TTI) learning model is better than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Durian Tarung padang. This type of research is Quasy Experiment with Randomized Control Group Only Design design. The sample was selected using Cluster Random Sampling technique and obtained class VIII5 as an experimental class and class VIII6 as a control class. Analysis of test data using t-test statistical techniques with a significant level, obtained t count> t table thitung. So, it can be concluded that the application of Multimedia Swishmax 4.0-assisted TTI model provides better science learning outcomes than conventional learning in the eighth grade MTsN Durian Tarung Padang.

Abstract

In this study, Fluxgate made with a design 30 and 20 winding excitation coil pickups. Fluxgate used to measure vibrations in two dimensions. Vibration measurements performed indirectly by using two mechanical pendulum to vibrate in the direction of axis x and y are placed on the source of vibration. Fluxgate sensor working principle is developed when there is vibration, then the magnetic mass at the end of the pendulum arm will come to move in rhythm with the vibration. This will result in the distance between the sensor with a magnetic mass changes. Changes in this distance will lead to changes in magnetic induction at the core of the sensor. Because of the large magnetic field intensity received by the sensor varies with the distance the vibration amplitude changes that occur will result in a change in voltage generated by the sensor. This means that the emf is happening is a function of the distance between the sensor with a magnetic mass. Fluxgate sensor is placed in the direction of axis x and y. Based on analysis of data obtained sensitivity of the sensor x and y with the same value that is ± 39 mV / μT. The range of frequencies that can be detected by sensors in this study were 0.37 Hz to 1.81 Hz and amplitude range that has been carried out ranging between 0.7 cm to 2.3 cm. Maximum absolute error and maximum relative error in the characterization of the frequency obtained is happening on the sensor y of 0.054 Hz and -2.18%. For amplitude obtained is happening on the sensor x 0,005 volt and 3,28%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce practicum worksheets (LKPD) development products on science learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (2) produce practicum based LKPD on science learning with valid, practical and effective product quality. This research is a research and development (R & D) research with 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Sammel. The results of this study are: (1) produced practicum-based LKPD in second semester science VIII science learning. (2) the average value of product validity from all aspects 91% with a very valid category. The product practical value is 88% with a very practical category. And the average value of product effectiveness is 86% with a very effective category to increase students' interest in learning science.

Abstract

This analysis aims to develop learners worksheets based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with authentic learning to improve creative thinking skills. The steps of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model are 1) Understanding the challenge, 2) Generating ideas, 3) Preparing for action and 4) Planning your approach. In the learning model of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) aims to increase creative thinking skills of learners by using authentic learning. Type of research is developmental research (research and development) using a 4-D model. The research phases are define, design, development and (disseminate). One step in define phase is the learners’ analysis that is limited to creative thinking skills analysis. The respondents selected in this study are students of class X MIPA 3 which consists of 35 students which are in SMAN 2 Padang. The analytical instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques performed is in the form of scoring using Likert scale. For each item of statement provides 4 (four) alternative answers. Based on the analysis of data that has been done, research results can be stated, that is the average level of Creative Thinking Skills of learners is 48.6%, where 47.4% of learners are able to think fluently ( fluency ) ; 48.3% of learners are able to think flexibly ( flexibility ) ; 45% of learners are able to think originally ( originality ) ; and 53.7% learners are able to think in detail ( elaboration ). Overall, the levelof Creative Thinking Skill of learners is still in the low category. The suggested suggestion based on the result of field study is the condition of the learners is good, by using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, it is expected that the learners' learning result can be improved on the harmonic vibration material to improve the creative thinking skill of the learners in authentic learning contained in learners worksheets.

Abstract

The Goal of this paper is to analyze the use of science laboratory specially physics laboratory in junior high school. The research method uses library research. The results of the study can be seen that laboratory is one of  important thing to encourage interaction between student and learning object on junior high school. Laboratory and  all of kind the tool is important to support learning proses in school as write as in government role at PP number 19 2005 abaut National education standard. Component of education laboratory consist of 5 component, there are laboratory’s building, facilities, tools, chemical, and organizing (Wahyukaeni, 2005: 18-21)

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze learning theories that support the development of blended learning models with Facebook (MBL-fb). The research method uses library research. The results of the study can be seen that learning theories that support the development of blended learning models are cognitive learning theories, constructivism and Connectivism. Social cognitive suggests that there are three main factors: behavior, person / cognitive, and the environment that influence one's learning process. Information processing explains the thinking process of students in processing information, monitoring it, and developing strategies regarding the information. Personal constructivists state that students construct knowledge by informing, organizing, and reorganizing prior knowledge and information. Social constructivists explain that knowledge is built and constructed together. Constructivism, knowledge is distributed on a network of connections, and therefore learning consists of the ability to build and traverse the network.
