Abstract

Purpose: By adopting an agriculture system that is in harmony with nature through an organic farming system approach, it is expected to produce commodities that are healthy and safe for consumption and have a higher economic value so that the two missions can be achieved in the future. Research methods: Research on identifying the potential and development of organic farming systems towards Bali organic islands had been carried out in all regencies and cities in Bali Province on May - December 2019. The research was conducted through a field survey and the results were agreed through FGD with stakeholders. Findings: Development of organic farming systems potentially carried out in almost all districts in Bali except in Klungkung Regency and Denpasar City. Implications: The innovation result of this research is the online, integrated, compact, lightweight, and easy to operate organic database system for Bali Province.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to obtain data from each OPD of the Province of Bali related to the implementation of E-Government (SPBE), determine the conditions of implementing E-Government (SPBE) in the Province of Bali and determine strategic steps to increase the level of maturity index of the SPBE of the Province of Bali. Research methods: The evaluation evaluation method is done through measuring the level of maturity based on the e-Government Maturity Model (eMM). Findings: This study revealed that the main weaknesses in the implementation of SPBE in Bali Province, especially in some OPDs that provide public services, were the lack of integration of applications or systems and the still weak human resources and IT infrastructure in each OPD. Implications: The steps that need to be taken are to formulate the SPBE Development Master Plan which has completeness on the side of the SPBE vision and mission load, SPBE architecture, SPBE road map as well as the integration of application systems and the use of general applications as a whole.

Abstract

Purpose: (1) Compile a baseline study of the potential of tourist objects and attractions as well as the readiness of community participation in the Community Based Tourism development model and forms of collaboration with relevant stakeholders; (2) Strengthening institutional and community empowerment in developing Kendran Tourism Village, as a community-based tourism village; and (3) Establishment of cooperation models and policies that can be developed by local governments and related stakeholders. Research methods: the method of documentation, questionnaires, interviews, and FGD. The collected data was then analyzed using existing condition analysis techniques, ADO-ODTWA assessment, participatory rural analysis (PRA), SWOT analysis, MACTOR analysis, and MULTIPOL analysis. Findings: Kendran Village as a tourist village, as well as its readiness for development were quite potential. The main policies that need to be prioritized include increasing the capacity of rural communities, strengthening village tourism institutions, packaging attractions / attractions for creating branding, and expanding and maintaining markets. Implications: the development of a single destination tourist village is the creation of branding, while the policy to increase the capacity of rural communities has the highest value in the multiple destination tourist village scenario. Tourism development policy in the Province of Bali refers to the concept of sustainable and quality tourism, through various multi-sector policies.

Abstract

Purpose: Purpose of this research is to identify impact decline of Bali tourism performance due to COVID-19 pandemic. Research method: This research method is descriptive-qualitative. Type of data used is secondary data, such as socio-demographic data, tourism data, economic data, and government policy data. Results and discussion: Decline of Bali’s tourism was preceded by a decrease in tourist visits to Bali due to regulations to physical distancing and restriction on public activities as a prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This has an impact on the aspects of tourism performer income, aspects of employment, and aspects of Bali’s regional income. Implication: The decline in performance of Bali's tourism disrupts various other sectors. The structure of the Bali's economy which is balanced or not only centered on one sector should be tought about.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the concept of Green Open Space (Ruang Terbuka Hijau/RTH) of traditional Balinese society and the Covid-19 disease. Methodology: The method used in this research is a literature study which will be presented qualitatively. Results and duscussion: The meaning of the Green Open Space in the concept of hulu-teben, tri mandala, karang embang, sanga mandala, natah, karang tuang, kahyangan tiga and setra is an effort to minimize interactions that threaten the harmony of nature. Implication: The dominant spread of the virus in closed spaces can also be minimized through the concept of structuring the Green Open Space, both on a residential and public scale.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk memaparkan kaidah desain interior Bali modern untuk fasilitas pariwisata yang akan ideal diterapkan pada masa pascapandemi COVID-19. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menggunakan adalah studi pustaka. Temuan: Prinsip desain interior Bali modern yang sesuai adalah: (1) pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami melalui bukaan maksimal dalam interior (2) pemilihan jenis permukaan material yang tidak berpori dan mudah dibersihkan (3) penerapan prinsip desain berkelanjutan pada interior (4) pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk mengatur durasi dan pergerakan manusia dalam interior. Implikasi: Keempat prinsip diharapkan dapat menghindari baik pada masa ataupun pasca pandemi COVID-19 sehingga industri pariwisata memberi rasa aman bagi wisatawan dan juga lebih menggali filsafat arsitektur tradisional Bali (ATB).

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kematangan atau kesiapan Kota Denpasar dalam mewujudkan Kota Sehat pada masa kenormalan baru. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deduktif kuantitatif dengan melakukan observasi dan kajian literature terkait penerapan Kota Sehat dan Era Kenormalan Baru di masa pandemi COVID-19. Hasil dan pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menemukan Kota Denpasar berada pada tingkat agak siap dalam mewujudkan Kota Sehat pada Era Kenormalan Baru. Implikasi: Penelitian ini menjadi bahan pertimbangan dan perbaikan dalam mewujudkan Kota Sehat di era kenormalan baru.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to look at the comparison of Ground Surface Temperature (LST) in Denpasar City before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research methods: To determine the LST used Landsat 8 image data which is processed using ArcGIS 10.3 software. Results and discussion: Limitation of community activities is carried out by the Denpasar City Government as an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The decrease in anthropogenic activity due to restrictions on community activities during the Covid-19 pandemic affected the decrease in LST in Denpasar City. This is evident from the decrease in the average LST during the pandemic compared to the average LST before the Covid-19 pandemic. Implication: Government policies that impose restrictions on community activities have implications for decreasing anthropogenic activities. The increase or decrease in anthropogenic activity has an effect on the increase or decrease in LST in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kriteria dan arahan pemanfaatan ruang kawasan evakuasi bencana non-alam dan bencana sosial. Metode penelitian: Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi terhadap kebijakan, penelitian dan teori terkait kawasan evakuasi bencana non-alam dan bencana sosial Hasil dan pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menemukan 10 kriteria dan ketentuan arahan pemanfaatan ruang pada kawasan evakuasi bencana non-alam dan bencana sosial. Implikasi: Penentuan kawasan evakuasi ini dapat menjadi instrumen baru rencana tata ruang dalam upaya kesiapan daerah dalam menghadapi potensi terjadinya bencana non-alam dan bencana sosial.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bahwa pandemi Covid-19 berdampak sangat parah terhadap perekonomian dan hal lainnya di Bali sebagai daerah yang mengandalkan sektor pariwisata. Metode penelitian: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dan pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di samping dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan akibat pandemi Covid-19, ada dampak positif sektor ketenagakerjaan dalam upaya percepatan digitalisasi transformasi pekerjaan yang menuntut masyarakat cepat beradaptasi dengan segala perubahan yang membentuk tatanan kehidupan dan dunia kerja baru seiring tuntutan revolusi industri 4.0. Implikasi: Diperlukan upaya yang komprehensif serta kebijakan yang cepat dan tepat guna menghadapi dampak pandemi Covid-19 di sektor ketenagakerjaan untuk melindungi dan memulihkan kesejahteraan pekerja baik saat ini maupun setelah pandemi.
