Stunting is one of the health and nutritional problems that are often experienced by toddlers as a result of not fulfilling food intake for a long time, causing toddlers' height to be inappropriate for their age. In 2021 the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is 24.4 percent. Langkat Regency is one of the regencies in North Sumatra, where stunting is a health and nutrition problem with a prevalence of 31.5 percent. This study aims to analysist the relationship between food security and breastfeeding and feeding practices with the incidence of stunting under five in poor families in Langkat Regency. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design with a sample of 238 children under five. The results showed that there was a relationship between food security (p < 0.001) and the practice of breastfeeding and food (p < 0.001) with the incidence of stunting under five. Suggestions for this research to health workers are expected to carry out health education about healthy and nutritious food intake and mothers are expected to be able to fulfill healthy and nutritious food intake for toddlers so that toddlers' growth and development are optimal.

Abstract

Horticulture is part of the agricultural sector which has received quite a lot of attention by the government to continue to be developed. Shallots are horticultural crops that are currently widely grown in Indonesia and have high economic value and demand. The development of shallot farming is basically aimed at increasing the productivity and welfare of farmers. However, shallot cultivation does not fully provide maximum benefits for farmers. This happens because of the risk in the implementation of onion farming. The risk factors that occur are production risk and shallot price risk. Production and price risks will reduce the income of shallot farming so that the household income of farmers decreases. Therefore, agricultural development through increasing productivity must be in line with the handling of the risks faced. The research area was determined purposively, namely in Liang Pematang Village, Sinembah Tanjung Muda Hulu District, Deli Serdang Regency, with the consideration that the area is one of the shallot production centers in Deli Serdang Regency. The sample in this study were farmers who were working on shallots in the research area. The samples taken were 30 shallot farmers. Farming risk level analysis using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). From the results of the study, it is known that the characteristics of shallot farmers are farmers of productive age and the dominant education is quite high at the high school level. Most farmers own more than 2,000 m2 of land, and have been farming for more than 10 years and the land used is their own land. The risks faced in shallot farming based on severity from the highest to the lowest are the selling price of shallots, fertilizer prices, weather conditions, Pest attacks, availability of seeds, diseases and labor.

Abstract

The persistence reports on crime in Mushin are derogatory in nature and generate concerns for noble and intellectual researcher across Nigeria. Thus, Mushin was listed as one of the notorious areas in Lagos with constant cases of criminal activities that negate growth and development of the State. Extant literatures and Instinctual drive theory by Sigmund Freud was adopted for the justification of the inquiry. Mixed methods and cross sectional research was adopted with structured and unstructured questionnaires for collection of quantitative and qualitative data respectively from the participants at Mushin, Lagos. Yemane Taro (1963) formula for sample size was adopted but due to fear of unknown demonstrated by the participants after screening, coding and editing 185 quantitative instruments was found useful with 10 participants that willingly gave their consent to give verbal information The result gathered shows that there is relationship between personal characteristics and criminality at r=0.594, F-value yields F=99.837. Psychological factors and criminality at r=0.694, F=170.211. Parent socio economic factors and criminality at r=0.798, F=320.928. Environmental factors and criminality at r=0.654, F=136.807 Community policing and criminality at r=0.826, r=0.951 while the R-Square is 0.904. On this ground, the following recommendations were made; Nigerian government all levels, Philanthropist, Multinational organizations and the entire community members must come together to tackled the menace, Nigeria security should learn not to divulge classified information on issue of insecurity among others.

Abstract

This article tried to explain that the phenomenon of Chinese Indonesians in the eyes of Native Indonesians had received such diverse perceptions, it often seemed tendentious. However, in recent years, the view was disappeared due to a change in the term of designation stipulated in state legislation by no longer using the term Chinese, but Indonesian people of Chinese descent. The main problem of this study was how the shifting of cultural assimilation patterns had an impact on the harmonization of social relations between Chinese Indonesians and Native Indonesians in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province (viewed from a social anthropological perspective). This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with field data collection instruments using a questionnaire technique for selected informants. The results of data analysis showed that there had been a shift in the assimilation pattern of Chinese Indonesians so that it had an impact on the harmonization of social relations in the community of Pekanbaru City, Riau Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential fisheries sub-sector to be developed in order to increase GRDP, in Sukabumi, West Java. Secondary data were obtained from BPS and related agencies, then analyzed using Local Quotient (LQ), Klasen Typology, and linear regression. The results showed that the order of potential to be developed was the ornamental fish cultivation sector, the second was the fishery product processing sector, the third was the fish hatchery sector and the fourth was the fish rearing sector. Based on the LQ value, the fishery product processing sector is the base sector with a source of raw materials for capture and freshwater aquaculture. The results of the regression analysis show that all fisheries sub-sectors contribute to regional income, starting from hatcheries, rearing, processing and production of ornamental fish

Abstract

This research is intended to produce a smart sensor system using a Neural Network which is implemented through the design of an Occupation monitoring tool and application (presence). Sensor equipment uses Arduino UNO, EST8266 Wifi, DHT22 and LDR. The readings of these sensors are then sent remotely via the internet and read by the application. Based on the research training conducted, a prediction model will be born where this model will translate the sensor data received and then generate data on the presence in an environment where the sensor is placed. IoT sensor tools and applications that are placed in several locations are very useful in carrying out daily human activities such as monitoring security in the home environment, schools, offices and warehouses for storing goods.
