Abstract

The suggested methodology presented in this work uses data mining to identify seismic zones and time series to forecast earthquake magnitudes. Utilize historical earthquake data gathered from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and obtained by utilizing hierarchical and fartherst first clustering to predict seismic activity. Latitude and longitude cluster data were used to create a prediction model to forecast the size of upcoming earthquakes in the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam region and its nearby areas.

Abstract

All over the world, the UNODC policy of 2011 agitates for needs to train, treat and promote the wellbeing of female inmates so as to reduce and control rate of recidivism in the country. Women are considered as care givers whose duty includes socialisation; domestication and procreation of offspring for societal continuity. In Nigeria, once women are convicted or apprehended by law, they faces lot of challenges ranging from stigmatization, poor health treatment, isolation, psychological trauma, unequal treatment among others Relevance publications to include local and international journals, magazines, newspaper, textbooks and articles were reviewed and double deviance feminist theory was adopted for justification of the inquiry. A mixed method was adopted with cross sectional survey method. Total population for the study in the three selected correctional facilities in Lagos and Ogun states was estimated to 348 inmates but 250 was found useful for the quantitative analysis while 15 female inmates were selected for the qualitative analysis. The result indicated that there are many factors that increase female involvement in criminal acts ranging from greed, poverty, unemployment. The second result shows that the treatment available for female inmates has insignificant negative effect on their wellbeing while the last indicated that training have significant relationship with female wellbeing in the facilities. The government, non-governmental organisation and the philanthropists should collective support the promotion of the wellbeing of female inmates and adequate cares and supervision should be ensure through the use of CCTV cameras in the facilities

Abstract

The enhancement of the income of the s is expected to have an impact on the welfare of cattle breeders in Karo Regency. The focus of this paper is to decide the factors that influence the respondents’ income to grow Cattle business better in Karo Regency. It also was conducted in Tigapanah District, Tigabinanga District and Dolat Rakyat District in Karo Regency with using 78 respondents. The results showed that the cattle breeds, the feed, the labor and the selling cost of livestock were factors that had a notable result on the respondents’ income in Karo Regency, while the cages cost and other costs did not have a notable effect on the respondents’ income in Karo Regency.

Abstract

Stunting is a major cause of high mortality (mortality) and morbidity (morbidity) in toddlers under five years of age. The Integrated Toddler Nutrition Status Study (SSGBI) and Susenas (2020) explain that the prevalence of stunting in Deli Serdang Regency is 30.97%. The aim of this study is to find the correlation between parent patterns and stunting case at age of 24-36 months toddlers in Percut Sei Tuan District Deli Serdang Regency. This research is a quantitative study with a Cross Sectional Study design. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a sample of 100 mothers with toddlers aged 24-36 months. The results showed that the related variables were exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.026), breastfeeding experiences for > 2 years old toddlers (p=0.026) and basic immunization (p=0.017) with stunting.

Abstract

This article described about the Javanese and Batak Rajawi man. This article intends to compare the mindset of people from both tribes, backgrounds, and the impact on life. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document collection. The collected data were analyzed using Paul Recouer's hermeneutic circle. The results of the analysis show that the Java man is a spiritual man by relying on the "higher nature" as a protector, while Batak man shows more of a Rajawi man by emphasizing prosperity. The comparison shows that the two human patterns require synergy to build a good Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Panorusan Samosir goat’s characteristics in Samosir district. The method used in this research is the observation method. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely 64 samples consisting of 7 males goat, 30 broodstock, 20 female lamb, 9 male lamb for quantitative traits while 264 qualitative traits. The data collected are quantitative characteristics including: body weight, body length, shoulder height, chest circumference, chest width, chest depth and ear length while for qualitative characteristics include: coat color, ear shape, horn color and nail color of Panorusan Samosir goats in the district Samosir. The data that has been collected was analyzed using the T-test. The average value of the quantitative characteristics of Panorusan Samosir goats was analyzed using the T2-hoteling statistical test, then principal component analysis was used to identify quantitative traits in goats. Data processing was assisted by using statistical software SPSS 20. The results showed that gender did not affect the quantitative characteristics of the Panorusan Samosir goats, while for the qualitative characteristics, namely the color of the coat was still dominated by white (57.44%), the shape of the ears was erect (72, 92%), the color of the horns is dominated by white (69.32%), and the color of the nails is also dominated by white (79.17).

Abstract

Pesbukers' communication style frequently catches the audience's attention since they are not just restricted to the jokes that are hurled but also come with sarcasm, which is presented in each episode. There are many arguments for and against accepting the utilized sarcasm among the audience. The point of the study is to look into the application of sarcasm in the context of the research object, Pesbukers, one of Indonesia's most popular television shows, without any translation process for each dialogue. By employing a qualitative descriptive method, the researcher examined four varieties of sarcasm discovered based on Elisabeth Camp's theory. The results of the study indicate that there are 31 data containing sarcasm. Proportional Sarcasm had the most data (12), followed by Lexical Sarcasm (10), Illocutionary Sarcasm (5), and Like-Prefixed Sarcasm (4). Proportional sarcasm that is straight to the point in utterances pervades all other types of sarcasm. However, the least used sarcasm in this study, like-prefixed sarcasm, is pragmatic and has a meaning contrary to the real motive. The Pesbukers show uses all of the sarcasm subgenres mentioned.

Abstract

The family is the littlest unit of society comprising of the head of the family and a few individuals who are assembled and live in one put beneath a roof in a state of interdependency. Problem formulation how the influence of Domestic Violence (KDRT) on the level of harmony in the family. In married life, both for husband and wife, children and family members, as well as the community to get a sense of security, and be free from all forms of violence that are harmful to themselves and to others, and which can cause trauma or fear for those who others because of treatment by means of violence, which is not in accordance with the philosophy of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence.The purpose of this research is to find outthe effect of Domestic Violence (KDRT) on harmony in the family and ways to anticipate the occurrence of domestic violence (Domestic Violence).This research uses descriptive analytical research method, the approach used is normative juridical. The approach method used in this research is the statutory approach.

Abstract

Domestic violence often occurs in human life. The forms of violence experienced by victims vary, both in the economic, social and educational fields.The formulation of the problem is how to protect children as victims of law (domestic violence). Victims who experience domestic violence are generally women and children. In this case, the government provides health facilities and efforts for children who have experienced violence in order to relieve the trauma experienced. This can be too contained in Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection which has stipulated criminal sanctions, within the form of detainment or with. Which is for the good thing about the child. Legitimate security for children as casualties of residential viciousness is the assurance given, counting: providing legal help; privacy of the victim's personality; capture the culprit with preparatory prove; giving other help within the shape of wellbeing administrations; recovery endeavors. The reason of this investigate is to discover outlegal assurance for children as casualties (Household Savagery (KDRT) and lawful cures against children as victims of Domestic Violence (KDRT).This research uses descriptive analytical research method, the approach used is normative juridical. The approach method used in this research is the statutory approach.

Abstract

The occurrence of violence in the household is still common due to a wrong understanding of gender bias, where a woman must submit to a man. In general, gender bias also places women in a weak position, thus making men more dominant in the family system and society, this is very detrimental to women, so women experience violence more often. Domestic violence is often called a hidden crime, because it is committed within the scope of the household which cannot be known by other people openly, and for victims it is also a separate dilemma considering that the perpetrators of violence are also family members (husband against wife or vice versa) who in fact are still in a marriage bond. the variables causing the wrongdoing of household savagery incorporate envy, financial variables, and a need of information almost existing enactment. Legitimate security for ladies casualties of household viciousness has been controlled in Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Disposal of Household Viciousness.
