In addition, this research was conducted to get more information about the development of modification model. And to know the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness of the modified model development in improving mastery of the basic technique of throwing discs for senior high school students. The design of this research is 45 students of class III SMA N 2 Palangka Raya. The instrument used in this research is pretest and non test to collect data To know the success or failure of the action that has been executed based on the action plan specified, then the criterion used is sourced from the purpose or the mission of doing the action with the criteria used as the benchmark of the success of the action Intended is the achievement of learning mastery of at least 85% of students above the value of ? 65.0%. In this study consists of two cycles, on the implementation of cycle 1 realized through the development of modification model obtained the results of the study concluded that the model developed on learning mastery of basic techniques throwing discs in the first cycle of 66.7 including the category less. The second cycle performed by the results of reflection cycle 1 provides motivation to the students according to the average result plan 81.1%. Including good category. Overall the results of this study is considered successful completion of 91.11% so that the hypothesis of an increase in mastery of basic techniques throwing disc students through the development of the modification model is accepted. With the higher interpretation of the development of modification model will be higher also the level of mastery of basic techniques throwing disc students class III SMA N 2 Palangka Raya

Abstract

Extraction and characterization of natural clay from Central Kalimantan in form of white clay, yellow clay and red clay as one of the alternative additives of geopolymer concrete has been done. The natural clay from Central Kalimantan was first cleaned and then extracted to remove impurities minerals. The extraction was done chemically with 3M HCl solution and continued with calcination at 500 ° C. Characterization of natural clays, clays extracted by FTIR spectroscopy (Fourier Transform Infrared), XRD (X-ray diffraction), N2 isothermal isothermal fisisorption using gas sorption analyzer based on BET equation. The results of analysis using FTIR and XRD gas sorption analyzer and showed that the main content of natural clay minerals from Central Kalimantan is monmorilonite, halloysite, chrysotile, gibbsite, quartz, anatase, oligoclase, illit, biotite. The results showed that the extraction performed was able to increase the specific surface area of clay, the relative composition of the monmorillonite and quartz minerals, and in turn decreased the relative abundance of the biotite, chrysotile, gibbsite, oligoclase, anatase and illitant minerals which are clay minerals from Central Kalimantan , so that with high content of momorilonite and quartz and large surface area, natural clay as extraction results from Central Kalimantan can be used as an alternative additives of geopolymer concrete.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the understanding of the concept of molecular form in the students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya academic year 2016/2017 after learning using the model of TPS (Think Pair Share). This research involves students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya academic year 2016/2017 as many as 25 people. The students' concept comprehension data is obtained by giving essay written test to students before and after learning using TPS model. Data were analyzed descriptively to explain the change of understanding of student concept as learning result. The results showed that students' understanding of molecular material before learning using TPS was 51% and after learning was 84.1%. The students' success in understanding the concept of molecular form of each learning objective is that students are able to write the electron configuration of 79.2%, the students are able to determine the valence electron of 79.2%, the students are able to illustrate the Lewis symbol of each atom of 80.8% 100% of atomic atoms, students able to describe Lewis structure of compound equal to 85.6%, students are able to determine the number of Free Electron Pairs (PEB) and Electron Pairs of Bonds (PEI) of 92.4%, and students are able to describe molecular shape of 42, 8%
