Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the role of administrative ethics in enhancing tax compliance levels, particularly among tax officials and taxpayers in Indonesia. Adopting a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study discusses the concept of administrative ethics, tax compliance, and the impact of ethical administrative practices on public trust in the tax system. The results indicate that strong ethical administrative practices can create a climate of trust among taxpayers, stimulate compliance, and reduce non-compliance practices in the tax environment. The practical implications of this research include the pivotal role of administrative ethics in boosting tax revenue and building a foundation of trust within the tax system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether pressure affects fraudulent financial reporting. By using quantitative methods for health service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The study used secondary data, namely the company's annual financial statements and sampling techniques carried out by the purphose sampling method. Descriptive is used to see Hexagon's Fraud Analysis in detecting Fraudulent Financial Reporting with the Audit Committee as moderating (Empirical Study on Health Services Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 Period). This study used 3 variables, namely independent variables, dependent variables and moderation variables. Based on the testing conducted and the results of the research discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) Stimulus affects financial statement fraud. 2) Opportunities do not positively affect financial statement fraud. 3) Rationalization has a positive effect on financial statement fraud.

Abstract

Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Capital Expenditure to Book Value of Assets (CAPBVA) Investment Decision on Company Value (Tobin's Q) is the purpose of this study. Using the annual financial statements of 35 companies in the Tourism, Hotel, and Restaurant subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the five-year period 2017-2021, this study uses secondary data. Purposive sampling is used for sampling. The panel data regression analysis used in this study was processed using the Eviews 10 program system for data analysis. The results of this research test Return on Assets (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have a positive and significant effect on Company Value (Tobin's Q), while Capital Expenditure to Book Value of Assets (CAPBVA) investment decisions have a negative and significant effect on Company Value (Tobin's Q) and Current Ratio (CR) have no effect on Company Value (Tobin's Q).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Workload, Career Development, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Asia Energi Transformation Foundation. The sample in this study were 109 respondents based on the Yamane formula. This study uses primary data with data collection methods through questionnaires distributed to 109 respondents. The data analysis technique uses inferential analysis with multiple linear regression. The results obtained in this study are workload has a positive effect on employee performance, career development has a positive effect on employee performance, and work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance. Therefore the Foundation must pay more attention to what employees need so that employee performance remains at a good level.

Abstract

The creation of village gardens and the sale of ornamental plants have the potential to improve the welfare of the Donomulyo community. However, this potential has not been fully utilized optimally. One of the factors that hinder the utilization of this potential is the lack of an appropriate marketing strategy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing strategy of making village gardens and selling ornamental plants in Donomulyo, Malang. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study were literature study, interviews and observations. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the strategies that can be done to increase the marketing effectiveness of making village gardens and selling ornamental plants in Donomulyo Village include community empowerment, coordination between stakeholders, and developing market access. Marketing strategies for making village gardens and selling ornamental plants in Donomulyo Village need to be optimized to increase the economic value of village gardens and community welfare.

Abstract

One of measures to reduce the flood impact in Indonesia has been done by flood emergency response action plan. The action plan is generated from decision making process assisted by instrument such computer models which have capability in producing scenarios and decision to be taken. This research is conducted to identify how the written procedures (delivered by international and national agencies) related to flood emergency response, being accommodated by those (computer) models. By using qualitative analysis, the element procedures of an effective flood emergency response model have been reviewed. The result shows that the detailed information such human and material resources, facilities information, and warning time-lag, have not been properly and entirely accommodated by the (computer) model. Highlights are also given to propose more effective instrument to improve the management of flood crisis.

Abstract

Otonomi wilayah artinya pemberian wewenang kepada Pemerintah Daerah untuk secara mandiri mengatur serta mengelola urusan nasional. dengan istilah lain, pemda memiliki hak dan kewajiban untuk membentuk keputusan yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan lokal. Ialah kewenangan serta tanggung jawab ditransfer ke taraf daerah yang lebih rendah dari pemerintah pusat. Tujuan diberikannya otonomi ini supaya wilayah bisa mampu mempunyai kesetaraan politik (political equality), tanggung jawab wilayah (local accountability, serta kesadaran daerah (local responsiveness). Kabupaten Indramayu ialah daerah yang menerima otonomi yang mana pada hal ini menjadi pemerintahan di bawah propinsi yang terletak pada provinsi Jawa Barat. Sektor pertanian, khususnya tanaman pangan pada Kabupaten Indramayu bisa dikatakan termasuk sektor yang sangat potensial dalam memberikan sumbangan terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Indramayu. Dalam hal ini Kabupaten Indramayu selama ini dikenal menjadi lumbung padi Jawa Barat sebagai akibatnya sangat relatif sebagai potensi ini menjadi sektor unggulan daerah Kabupatane Indramayu.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, every country in the world must be able to adapt and adopt these changes as a strategy to strengthen national defense because cyberspace in relation to international relations can be a source of various potential threats, vulnerabilities, and insecurity in the international order. China recognized the importance of AI in shaping the future global economic, military and geopolitical environment, and launched the "Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan." which aims to become a global leader in AI by 2030. The research method used is prescriptive analysis and qualitative data analysis. Based on the results of the study, there are 4 (four) important points to realize this, namely the alignment of regulations related to cyber and digital in Indonesia with the initiation with revisions both in the form of proposed new articles and / or reviews in Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Army, then digital infrastructure development in Indonesia, digital literacy development in Indonesia, and appropriate personnel mobilization strategies based on the state of human resources in Indonesia.

Abstract

The recapitulation of the divorce rate in Banyuwangi District in recent years shows a significant trend, with the number of cases being quite high. In an effort to reduce the divorce rate, the government has initiated the Blessing Program. However, this research found that the program had not achieved overall effectiveness. The concept of the Berkah program is considered to be in accordance with the legal structure, although there are several obstacles in coordinating with sub-districts and determining the marriage age below 10 years. On the other hand, program participants showed enthusiasm and good understanding of the program objectives. The implementation of the Berkah program is generally in line with the theory and guidelines of the Director General of BIMAS Islam, although there are difficulties in coordinating with sub-districts and in selecting places and participant criteria. The impact of the Berkah program includes a significant reduction in the divorce rate, as well as promoting cooperation between the KUA and sub-districts and clarifying the rights and obligations of program participants.

Abstract

Maglev trains are considered for urban transport and intercity transport systems. On low-medium speed Maglev trains, the operating routine is shorter than that of high-speed trains. Therefore, EMS and LIM technologies are preferred from the point of view of construction costs. However, in high-speed operation, EDS and NGO technologies are preferred for handling, and reliability. In addition, as the development of high-temperature superconductors and new types of permanent magnets develop, stronger and more cost-effective magnetic energy will be used for Maglev trains. The authors believe this technology can be utilized not only for railway applications but also aircraft launch systems and spacecraft launch systems. The need for a new and improved transportation system prompted many countries to be interested and seek to develop Maglev railways. However, although Maglev trains have been studied and developed for approximately half a century, few countries have the knowledge and expertise to do so. This review paper attempts to describe the current complete system in detail and summarizes the basic core technologies of Maglev trains from an electrical engineering point of view. The research hopes to be useful for people interested in this to assimilate Maglev train technology including magnetic levitation, propulsion, guidance, and power supply systems.
