Abstract

Cigarette packs are rectangular packages made mostly of cardboard containing cigarettes. Packaging is designed from aluminum foil, paper or flavor-protecting plastic and sealed with clear, airtight plastic film. Production process at CV. Langgeng Jaya has 2 types and they are still very inefficient. So, looking at this problem, a proposal is given to innovate a cigarette tongue printing machine to make the cigarette tongue printing machine more efficient and speed up the production process. Innovation: The cigarette tongue molding machine is designed using dimensions from anthropometric calculations and the 50th percentile of workers, so that the height of the material support is 103.75 cm, determines the material entry route of 69.5 cm, and determines the height of the panel box of 93.5 cm. Machine trials must be carried out to determine the difference in output after designing the machine innovation and before the design is carried out. The resulting output must be compared before the innovative design of the cigarette tongue machine is carried out and after the design is carried out. The output produced before the design was carried out was 192, after the innovative design of the cigarette tongue printing machine was carried out, it was 320 kg a day. The increase in productivity after designing the innovative cigarette tongue printing machine was 66%, which means it was successful.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Mutiara Miru Lamongan, didirikan pada 2011, menonjolkan kecemerlangan dalam industri briket. Berlokasi di Desa Miru, Lamongan, perusahaan ini telah menjadi produsen dan eksportir terkemuka selama 12 tahun terakhir. Namun, tingkat kecacatan produk masih tinggi, terutama pada proses mesin cetak, oven, dan pengemasan. Jenis cacat bervariasi, termasuk cacat fisik, fungsional, kinerja, dan pembuatan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, inovasi diperlukan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan dimmer pada mesin pemotong otomatis dapat mengurangi kecacatan produk dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Setelah implementasi, kapasitas produksi meningkat sekitar 3.787 kg, tingkat kecacatan berkurang, dan produktivitas naik menjadi 95,4%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi alat pemotong dimmer otomatis memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas perusahaan.

Abstract

PT XWZ is a service company engaged in the automotive sector, which serves the stages of unit sales to service car vehicles (after sales service) for the Wuling car brand. In improving the vehicle service or maintenance process, it is necessary to have an optimal availability of spare parts. From the inventory data in the warehouse, the majority of spare parts stored in the warehouse are classified as slow moving parts. By conducting an ABC and FMEA approach, it is expected to be able to increase the reliability of maintenance needs so as to increase inventory according to the criticality value of spare parts. In this research, 19 spare parts items were found to be classified as critical or high risk items.

Abstract

CV. Karya Cipta Baru is one of the companies operating in the remanufacturing industry for heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and others. The company is planning to invest in electric welding machines to expedite the process of repairing truck trailers. Feasibility analysis and productivity analysis will be conducted to determine the viability of this investment. Sensitivity analysis is performed using the NPV calculation method, resulting in an NPV of Rp. 157,491,591. The calculation of PP estimates a payback period of 4 months and 18 days. The IRR calculation yields an investment return rate of 234%. And the PI calculation shows a profitability index of 8.16. Productivity analysis is also conducted using the Marvin E. Mundel method to assess the impact of the investment in electric welding machines. From the productivity analysis results, the investment is deemed feasible as it can increase the company's sales and net profit

Abstract

ABC is a small and medium industry that produces various kinds of shovels. The products produced by UD.ABC are wooden-handled shovels and iron shovels. Every day UD.ABC targets to produce 65 and 45 dozen wooden-handled shovels and iron shovels. But the production target could not be met. One way that targets cannot be met is influenced by the performance and consistency of each operator, therefore it is necessary to determine the standard time for each operator in order to maximize consistency in completion. After calculating the standard time, the standard time for OP1 was 33.25 seconds, OP2.3 14.19 seconds, OP4 33.47 seconds, OP5 23 seconds, OP6 26.59 seconds, OP7.8 29.1 seconds. And additional workers are needed to meet production targets. The additional workforce was carried out at OP4 by 1 person,and OP6 by 1 person.

Abstract

In this study, analysing the stockpiles of raw material in CV.XYZ packaging that suffered from excessive stocks causing damage to the packaging, there were four types of packaging: 400 ml, 900 ml, 1000 ml, and 5000 ml.This research took about four months. Then he will know that the request in the past will be estimated by means of an average estimate. He did a calculation against the losses suffered by the company and then the rebooking point of the packaging. Based on the results of this research, the re-ordering point is on a 400 ml pack of 7566 pcs, a 900ml pack of 13575 pcs, a 1000 ml package of 17658 pcs and a 5000 ml packing of 8472 pcs. But it would be better for the company to repurchase one day when the packaging is left for only one production process.

Abstract

This research discusses the design of an ergonomic oyster mushroom baglog pressing tool which aims to increase work productivity in Pak Heru's home oyster mushroom industry and reduce the risk of muscle injury. Workers' muscle injuries can occur during the baglog pressing process which is carried out manually in a bent sitting position. It is hoped that the ergonomic design of this tool will speed up baglog pressing time and increase production efficiency. To determine the risk of muscle injury, the study used Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) measurements. And the House of Quality (HOQ) method is also used to determine customer needs and create new products. The trial results of designing an ergonomic oyster mushroom baglog peeler showed that work productivity increased. The research results show that baglog pressing machines can increase productivity significantly compared to previous processes carried out manually. After use of the designed device, there is a low level of risk of muscle injury, according to analyzes using NBM and REBA. Apart from that, the costs for making baglog and oyster mushroom pressing equipment have also been calculated. With a production output of 60 baglogs per hour and 420 baglogs per day, the ergonomic baglog pressing machine increases work productivity and reduces the risk of muscle injury.

Abstract

PT. Ragam Mulya Abadi, a commercial vehicle construction company, is located at Jalan Raya Menganti Jeruk No 296a, Lakarsantri, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The company operates from 08:00 to 17:00, with work being conducted for 9 hours per day. Currently, the company does not have a network diagram or understanding of the critical path in its projects. A network diagram illustrates the production process and relationships between activities in the project, while the critical path is a series of crucial steps that must be completed on time to ensure production stays on schedule. Standard time studies use the stopwatch time study method to improve production efficiency, identify critical paths, and understand fluctuations in labor requirements over the course of a year. With a total standard time of 190 minutes and the critical path A-B-D-E-G-H requiring 3.9 hours, the company can plan and execute projects more efficiently.Keywords: network diagram, standart time, production, efficient, stopwatch time study.

Abstract

Abstract UD Dua Saudara is a company engaged in the food industry, namely krecek crackers, the krecek cracker industry is owned by Mr. Lukman, located in Bodor Village, Pace District, Nganjuk Regency. The production process of making krecek crackers at UD Dua Saudara experiences obstacles, especially during the process of cutting krecek crackers, which is the main obstacle in the krecek cracker production process. To carry out a fast and efficient cutting process, there are several obstacles such as tools and work techniques that are still traditional, less efficient, and ergonomic, so that during the cutting process it can take longer and the results are not optimal. There is also the result of cutting in an average day - 136 Kg, to be more efficient, a tool redesign is needed that can overcome these problems. And I hope that later the tool can make the cutting process more efficient, ergonomic and can also increase capacity. From these problems, I designed a krecek cutting tool with an ergonomic approach. The results of data collection and processing obtained dimensional results for the tool with the following: to determine the width of the frame using the 95th percentile, namely 45cm, to determine the height of the tool with the 95th percentile, namely 60cm, to determine the Grip handle using the 95th percentile, namely 5cm.

Abstract

Risk is a factor that always exists in every sector of life incluidng suppky usage in PT KAI. Based on the results and discussion of this research, the conclusion is that there are 20 risk agents and 20 risk events, of which 4 priority risk agents are lack of control over fuel hoses (A13), inaccurate measuring instruments (A7), Over limit Policy (A2) and lack of clear and measurable coordination (A1). Second, there are 6 mitigation actions, namely Modification of the queue and filling system (P1), Improvement of the train supervision and monitoring system with (P2), Training and coordination staff ( P3), Training of machinists and system machinists and managemen update (P4), Modification of fuel control data with by internet (P5), and Maintenance engginer properly and scheduled ( P6). Where the most effective solutions based on HOR Phase 2 are respectively PA 2, PA 3, PA 4 PA 6, PA 5 and PA 1. Meanwhile based on AHP they are PA 2, PA 1, PA 5, PA 6, PA 3 and PA 4. So the alternative solutions developed are PA 2, PA 3 and PA 4.
