Abstract

PT XYZ is a cracker producer and exporter in Sidoarjo facing difficulties in managing raw materials. Strategic procurement management is crucial for timely availability, production optimization, and reducing stock depletion risks. Fluctuating demand patterns and declining supplier performance during the rainy season result in suboptimal stock levels. The research involves demand data, warehouse capacity, and procurement. Findings indicate a warehouse capacity of 55-60 tons, mostly for shrimp flour. High demand from January to May requires 45-65 tons of shrimp flour, 20-35 tons of plain flour, and 10-20 tons of lombok flour. An appropriate procurement strategy considering warehouse capacity and supplier capabilities is necessary. Analyzing supplier payments through sales flow enhances understanding of stock needs and purchasing planning.

Abstract

Productivity is the spearhead of a company's survival, if there is an increase in productivity it shows the company's success in carrying out the production process. P.G. Gempolkrep Mojokerto is a sugar factory located in Gempolkrep Village, Gedeg District, Mojokerto Regency. The research aims to measure and analyze the causes of decreased productivity based on 3 criteria, namely Raw Materials, Labor, Machine Hours, Electrical Energy and Sugarcane Yield. The method in this research uses the Objective Matrix Method (OMAX) with stages of Determining Criteria (Defining), Measuring Criteria (Quantifying) and Productivity Index Analysis (Monitoring). On 1 - 15 August 2023, productivity was the best with a productivity index of 1,000, while the lowest productivity occurred on 16 - 31 May 2023, amounting to 30.30. On 16 - 31 July 2023, the overall productivity level was the best with a change index to standard productivity of 192%. Meanwhile, the worst Overall Productivity occurred on 1 - 15 September 2023, amounting to - 45.4%.

Abstract

PT. Ragam Mulya Abadi, a company that produces dump truck bodies, located on Jalan Raya Menganti, Surabaya. Problems that occur in planning materials and dump truck body components are due to inappropriate production planning so that product delivery to consumers is delayed. The aproach by using Chase Strategy method used to determine production planning, then the solution is carried out using the MRP system using Lot for Lot method and it is found more economical with results of Rp. 536,550,- while with the FPR method the results obtained were Rp. 5,930,925,-. In conclusion, with the Lot for Lot method the company can save costs of Rp. 5,394,375,- compared to using FPR method. The suggestion is that companies should consider using the Lot for Lot system in procuring components for dump truck body production because it minimizes costs for the company and hoped the research results can meet future demand.

Abstract

PT Pesona Arnos Beton is a paving manufacturing company in Kedamean Hamlet, Gresik Regency, East Java. They produce 8 variants of paving with different shapes and sizes. The company has 5 paving machines and 20 workers. In this research, a WorkloadiMeasurementiAnalysis (WLA) was conducted to measure the company's workload. From the results of the calculation of optimizing additionaliproduction capacity, using a normal target involving 20 workers, the companyiis able to produce 51,150 paving pallets with a labor cost of Rp. 462,861,000 in 6imonths. This method isicheaper than using aniovertime target, whichiproduces 55,025 paving pallets by increasing operating hours by 1 hour and a totalicost of Rp. 533,200,000 in 6imonths. By following the productionitarget plan, PT Pesona Arnos Beton can reduce production costs by Rp. 70,339,000.

Abstract

One of the products produced by PT Surya Pertiwi Nusantara, namely the seat-type toilet or called CW 53 J, is one of the products that is relatively often produced among various other products that are made only when there is an order (make by order). From the production of CW 53 J often found defects or defects in quality control, the damage varies from small holes in various parts of the body, body cracks, body lack or inappropriate shape, peeled body, body dust etc. Many factors affect the success of production, but there are factors that can be controlled and cannot be controlled. The method in this study is to use seven tools. Seven tools are 7 tools used to control the quality of a product, including: chek sheet, cause and effect diagram, pareto diagram, control map diagram, spread chart, flow chart and histogram .

Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi saat ini, penerapan teknologi informasi menjadi salah satu pilar manajemen bisnis organisasi, termasuk pada institusi pendidikan. Universitas Balikpapan (Uniba) merupakan salah satu universitas yang melakukan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berbasis website learning management system ‘E-learning Uniba’ dalam proses belajar mengajar dimulai selama masa pandemi berlangsung. Karena rentang proses pengembangan dan penerapanya cukup singkat, serta dilakukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan mendesak dimasa pandemi, maka pengukuran kinerja LMS E-learning Uniba sangat perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan skema maturity level assesment dengan kerangka kerja VAL IT 2.0 sebagai basis model untuk mengukur kinerja investasi E-learning Uniba. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tingkat tata kelola investasi LMS e-learning Uniba masih berada pada level 3 (Penetapan) dengan rata-rata skor 3.915, atau dengan kata lain Uniba masih perlu meningkatkan tata kelola investasi LMS e-learning agar potensi sistem informasi tersebut dapat terdistribusi dengan baik ke masing-masing pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Wahyu Abadi is a printing business located in Petemon, Surabaya. This company is capable of producing between 800-1,200 prints per day or equivalent to 50-70 reams of paper. In its operations, UD. Wahyu Abadi uses three types of paper raw materials: Art Paper, HVS, and NRC. Previously, the company made raw material purchases based on its own policies without using optimal inventory control methods. A study revealed that by implementing the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the company can optimize its raw material inventory costs. The most profitable purchase quantity for Art Paper is 12 reams with a 13order frequency within 6 months, saving inventory costs of Rp. 42,029 compared to the previous policy. For HVS paper, the optimal purchase quantity is 178 reams with an 18 order frequency within 12 months, saving inventory costs of Rp. 380,896. Meanwhile, for NRC paper, the optimal purchase quantity is 853 reams with an 18 order frequency within 12 months, saving inventory costs of Rp. 379,715. Additionally, the EOQ method also requires the company to provide safety stock and set a reorder point to anticipate delays in raw material delivery. This study recommends UD. Wahyu Abadi to implement the EOQ method in its raw material inventory management to improve cost efficiency.

Abstract

The warehouse system is the most important part of the Company. Good conditions and arrangements will reduce losses to the Company, minimize rental costs, and speed up warehouse operations. The warehouse must have a model that can simplify and speed up the process of searching for goods. This problem occurred at the Unicharm distributor, because there was no definite arrangement, which resulted in products that did not match the category and stockpiling that was too high. This results in damaged goods and long searches. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to design and reorganize the existing storage warehouse. In this problem, the Class Based Storage method is used combined with ABC Classification. The results obtained from this proposed layout are time and distance efficiency of 24.82%.

Abstract

Perkembangan terkini dalam desain kerekayasaan dilakukan dengan memadukan ranah kecerdasan buatan karena tersedianya data historis rancangan suatu objek, misalnya rangka sepeda. Berdasarkan data historis ini, sebuah model dapat dibangun untuk memperoleh keputusan desain berbasis data-driven. Untuk itu, kajian ini membahas perpaduan ini melalui pendekatan metodologi data sains dalam membuat sebuah model keputusan desain menggunakan pembelajaran mesin otomatis (automatic machine learning yang disingkat AutoML). Model yang dibangun merupakan model klasfikasi multi kelas dalam menentukan keamanan rangka sepeda dengan lulus atau tidaknya suatu rangka sepeda dalam dua jenis uji beban. Teknik exploratory data analysis diterapkan untuk menilai fitur-fitur yang digunakan dalam pemodelan. Dataset ini memiliki jumlah kelas yang propersinya tidak berimbang yang dinyatakan dengan rasio tak-seimbang sebesar 10.77. Model klasifikasi dilatih dengan bagian data latih melalui validasi silang stratified K-fold menggunakan algoritma XGBoost dengan parameter untuk nilai default-nya. Ada dua model yang dibangun berdasarkan data latih tanpa persiapan dan dengan persiapan data. Kedua model memberikan perfomansi yang tidak terlalu signifikan berbeda melalui nilai multi-class Matthews correlation coefficient. Namun, matriks konfusi menunjukkan bahwa model dengan persiapan data dapat lebih baik mengklasifikasikan kelas-kelas minoritas. Akhirnya, kajian yang dilakukan ini menjadi sebuah rujukan awal untuk pemodelan keputusan desain terkait keamanan pada rangka sepeda.

Abstract

Pengendalian kualitas digunakan untuk meminimalisasi kecacatan produk untuk dapat meningkatkan laba perusahaan ditengah ketatnya persaingan transportasi. PT. Indo Perkasa Logistik terus berupaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan jasa pengiriman kendaraan mobil. Terdapat empat jenis defect yakni bumper lecet, kaca bintik, pintu baret dan roof baret dimana defect pada kualitas pengiriman produk tiap bulannya melebihi standar kualitas perusahaan. Metode FMEA digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas produk dengan mengidentifikasi prioritas potensi penyebab kegagalan berdasarkan ranking yang diperoleh dari Risk Priority Number (RPN). Hasil tertinggi kecacatan produk diidentifikasi menggunakan diagram pareto dimana hasil menunjukkan dia jenis menjadi prioritas diperbaiki yaitu pintu lecet dan bumper lecet. Maka perlunya dilakukan perbaikan pada perusahaan untuk mengurangi terjadinya kecacatan yang ada pada perusahaan yaitu memberikan pelatihan kepada karyawan secara masif agar mengurangi human error. Kemudian, memperpanjang tangga landasan, melakukan preventive yang rutin, membuat pelindung pada tiang pagar dan membuat cover pelindung pada CCR.
