Abstract

PT. Adei Plantation & Industry is a plantation company that operates on plantation and palm oil industries. CPO production of palm oil is needed for consumption, which is run by power stations and for distribution (engine room) involving operators. Since january to june 2020, there is a sudden shutdown in the work of research for the analysis of human errors in the engine room using HEART method. The HEART method is used to evaluate the possibility of human error in all the work and to count the erros in various mays. Data management shows that there are 4 task operators that are common to the plant turbine engines and 6 task forces on the genertor. The highest HEP rating on the turbin engine was 0,6528 with the greatest error potential for task 3, the turbine engine operation. For the highest HEP value on the generator engine is 3,1759 with an error potential in task 5.

Abstract

Kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia yang menjadi sumber emisi gas buang terbesar adalah sepeda motor. Ini merupakan kurangnya perhatian pengguna kendaraan bermotor dengan perbandingan kompresi mesin kendaraan yang tinggi cenderung memilih mengisi bahan bakar sepeda motornya dengan premium yang harganya lebih murah namun memiliki angka oktan yang rendah. Hal ini tentu akan menimbulkan masalah terhadap pembakaran yang tidak sempurna. Efek yang ditimbulkan adalah menyebabkan meningkatnya polutan pencemaran udara. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas adalah dengan cara menggunakan Hydrocarbon Crack System (HCS), HCS bekerja untuk menyempurnakan proses pembakaran, sehingga dapat menurunkan kadar emisi gas buang kendaraan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melihat pengaruh penggunaan Hydrocarbon Crack System (HCS) terhadap performa dan kandungan emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan HCS pada sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 dapat menurunkan emisi gas CO sebesar 40 %. Untuk emisi gas HC penggunaan HCS dapat menurunkan emisi gas HC sebesar 37%,sedangkan untuk emisi gas buang CO2 penggunaan HCS dapat meningkatkan emisi gas CO2 sebesar 12.98%. Motor vehicles in Indonesia which are the largest source of exhaust emissions are motorbikes. This is the lack of attention of motorized vehicle users with high engine compression ratios, which tend to choose to refuel their motorbikes with premium which is cheaper but has a low octane number. This of course will cause problems with incomplete combustion. The resulting effect is to increase air pollutants. To overcome the above problems is by using the Hydrocarbon Crack System (HCS), HCS works to improve the combustion process, so that it can reduce the levels of vehicle exhaust emissions. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of the use of the Hydrocarbon Crack System (HCS) on the performance and content of the resulting exhaust emissions. Based on the research results, it was found that the use of HCS on a Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle could reduce CO gas emissions by 40%. For HC gas emissions, the use of HCS can reduce HC gas emissions by 37%, while for CO2 exhaust emissions, the use of HCS can increase CO2 emissions by 12.98%.

Abstract

One way to process pineapples, pineapples are classified as highly perishable and rotten foods. For this reason, it is necessary to handle fruit to save the abundance of fruit that occurs during harvest. One example of what the community has done is dealing with the abundant harvest of pineapples by making fruit as a daily snack, namely getting dry fruit products that are ready to eat by making pineapple chips. The production of fruit kiripik is usually done by frying which is done by frying which contains oil which is usually called conventional frying. Therefore, with this oven drying machine, it can help the community in making pineapple chips. The purpose of this study was to determine the moisture content in the manufacture of pineapple chips in a drying oven machine, to analyze the ratio of temperature settings that were set 95 to 110 in the drying process. The fastest drying time is achieved at drying at a drying temperature of 110 ° C.

Abstract

Motorcycles are the most in demand vehicles in Indonesia. The number of users of these two-wheeled vehicles continues to increase every year. However, the increasing number of motor vehicles is also accompanied by increasing crimes against motorcycle users. To solve the problem, it is designed a security tool on motorcycles that can turn motorcycles on and off using voice commands based on arduino uno r3 connected to bluetooth on smartphones. It aims to tackle and reduce the number of crimes against motorcycle users.

Abstract

The safety of a motorcycle is very important for vehicle owners. Until now, most motorbikes still rely only on the key to contact the vehicle itself. In the case of vehicle theft, it is very easy for the perpetrator of the theft to use the letter "T" key. Therefore an additional vehicle safety is required which is difficult to break apart from the ignition key. The purpose of this research is to design and implement motorcycle safety using Arduino-based Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as additional vehicle safety. The author uses an RFID card / tag to add security to the vehicle starting system with a card / tag reading distance that can be read by an RFID reader. The ID code on the RFID Card must be inputted into the Arduino so that the RFID reader can read the ID Card that has been inputted into the Arduino. Based on the results of the tests that have been done, it is found that the reading distance of the RFID Card / Tag ranges from 1 cm to 3.5 cm. If the correct ID code is inputted, the electrical system is active and vice versa if the ID code entered is wrong, the buzzer will sound and the electrical system in the vehicle is not active / does not turn

Abstract

Every object that moves and comes in contact with one another must experience friction. Friction or commonly referred to as friction is a force that restricts the sliding or rolling motion of an object against another object. The design and manufacturing stage of the tibometer test device, which uses a motor type XD - 135 as a driving force with a maximum load of 98N, knows the dimensions of the components (tribometer) to be made. The design process is carried out by determining the specifications of the equipment to be made, making the design concept of the wear test equipment, making the design of the wear test equipment, the manufacturing process of the wear test equipment. The design and manufacture results in a tibometer test device with specifications of rotation speed 212.12 rpm, linear speed 448.9 mm / s, maximum normal load 98 N, normal force 49 N, stroke length 70mm.

Abstract

The study is done to determine the characteristics of the material absorbs the particle board made of palm oil to the midrib 0,6 0,4 density and 0,9 gr / cm3 adhesive with variations 15% and 20 % adhesive urea and formaldehyde in use . Frequencies used is 125,250,500,1000 , and 1200 hz . Value the absorption of sample made showing the price qualified according to sample ISO 11654 to classify it as a silencer and included in a category class the quality c. Research aims to understand characteristic of the coefficients employ the board particles of material midrib palm. Employ procedure test the were based on standard ASTM E1050-98 using the of tube impedance 2 microphone .Sample of measuring diameter ± 99 mm. value density large frequency ( hz ) good affect on value the coefficients employ the ( α ) . Employ a value the will decrease in frequency 1000-1200hz and in density gr 0,9 / cm3.

Abstract

Palm Oil Mill PT. Surya Intisari Raya, Sei Lukut is a plantation company engaged in the commodity palm oil FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunches), with output in the form of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) and Palm Kernel (PK). There are 13 processing stations at PKS that have high noise levels, one of which is a sterilizer station which can disrupt operator psychology, namely Sleep Disturbance. In the field survey, it was found that operators experienced concentration problems such as drowsiness, and not all of them used ear protection in the form of earplugs/earmuffs. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the noise level at the sterilizer station and to analyze its effect on the operator's sleep quality using an observational analytic cross-sectional approach. Noise in the workplace was measured using a sound level meter and the sleep quality of workers was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Based on the results of noise level measurements, 4 processes have noise above the Threshold Limit Value, namely Deaeration of 89.824 dB, Containment of 92.548 dB, Peak BlowDown by 2 of 96.45 dB, and Final of 102.77 dB. Based on the results of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire, 100% of Morning Shift and Night Shift workers have poor sleep quality. To overcome this problem, several suggestions were made, namely to carry out periodic health checks for operators, ensure that operators who are exposed to noise always wear an earplug/earmuff, and minimize exposure to noise above the NAB to operators by keeping noise points away from the operator's premises.

Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Perawang, whose main function is to carry logs before chipping by the Chipper machine as raw material for making Pulp, but in the process it works Chain The feed has not been damaged at the deadline, namely the bearings of the Chain Feed made of solid iron are damaged, loose and enter the Chipper engine, thus damaging the parts in the Chipper engine, this of course requires a large cost in repairing the parts that are Therefore, research on the cause of damage or bearing limits of the Chain Feed was carried out and finally redesigned the Chain Feed, namely redesigning it by removing the bearings on the chain, by designing adding a triangular plate to replace the bearings as a means of carrying logs on the chain. Abstract

Rapid technological development changes the form of competition between profit-oriented companies. The presence of new methods of company management is getting more intense due to the demands of a competitive advantage with other companies. One of the areas that can create competitive advantage is the operational sector. Furthermore, Supply Chain Management has become one of the main components as a competitive strategy to develop the productivity and profitability capabilities of a company. Meanwhile, crossdocking systems have been found for a long time, but the application is often not too significant for companies and there is still room for optimization. Therefore, the researcher was interested in carrying out research related to crossdocking. In this study, the target company is PT. XYZ as a distribution center company that has problems in managing distribution costs and supplies to its partners. By implementing crossdocking, it can help companies in minimizing distribution and inventory costs. The steps in this study are determining vehicle distribution routes, calculating the number of distribution fleets, scheduling distribution fleets, calculating the total safety stock and calculating the ratio of the total cost of supplies in the current condition to the proposed conditions. The research results obtained 2 optimal distribution routes with a total distribution fleet of 2 units, divided into fleet 1 with a capacity of 800 units and fleet 2 with a capacity of 767 units. As for the scheduling results, the makespan value of each fleet is obtained, namely 240 minutes for fleet 1 and 248 minutes for fleet 2. The amount of safety stock for each type of cellphone is Y19 with 27 units of safety stock, Y12 with 102 units of safety stock, Y30 with safety stock 75 units and V19 with safety stock 54 units. The total cost of supplies is 2,989,055 rupiah in one order process.
