Abstract

PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Perawang Mill is one of the largest pulp and paper producing companies in Indonesia and even in Southeast Asia. This company produces its own energy for production purposes. Where this company has 12 Steam Power Plants (PLTU) with a boiler system. This Steam Power Plant (PLTU) uses several types of fuel, both biomass and fossil fuel types. The main fuel used is the type of fossil coal. However, currently the coal inventory control process has not been carried out properly so that a lot of coal is piled up in the stockpile and causes coal to burn (Spontanous Comustion). In order not to cause losses to the company, the control of coal inventory must be carried out properly. One method that can be used is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method for 12 periods (1 year) namely December 2020 – November 2021. From the results of this inventory control, the number of economic orders for coal is 20,841 tons with a total of 107 orders. To avoid stockpiling or shortages, a safety stock is needed, namely 847,439 Tons, while reordering can be done when the coal stock in the stockpile is 522,155 Tons remaining. With maximum stock in stockpile is 868,820 Tons. The total cost for coal inventory that must be spent is Rp. 23,244,747. Keywords : Coal, Inventory Control, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)

Abstract

Sandria Sukses Bersama is a company engaged in oil palm plantations. Oil palm harvesting activities are carried out using egrek tools. The activity is carried out on hilly land which is quite steep with the age of 16 years old oil palm trees with tree heights reaching 10-15 meters. This condition causes operators to tend to tilt their heads up when doing work so operators often complain of feeling pain in their necks and legs. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the work posture of oil palm harvesting operators in carrying out their work. The results of this study indicate that the operator's exposure score with an average of 88.97%. This value is at exposure level 4 which is 71-100% which indicates that the working posture of oil palm harvesting at PT. Sandria Sukses Bersama needs to take action now because it is very risky for work-related injuries if it is carried out continuously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best criteria on which to base the selection of alternative Chemical Boilout suppliers for Paper Machine # 6 dissection and to determine the best supplier to be selected for the Chemical Boilout supplier. The benefit of this research is to improve the consistency of run-ability by reducing the lost time sheet break and paper rejects. The method used is data processing using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and data collection by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate the criteria for supplier selection, namely quality, price, supplier performance and guarantee of product claims. Then produce a weight for each alternative supplier, in order, namely kemira supplier with a weight of 30.627%, buckman with a weight of 29.973%, solenis with a weight of 21.608% and amazone with a weight of 17.792%. therefore for the best supplier and will be recommended to be selected in the upcoming tender process is the supplier Kemira.

Abstract

The development of automotive technology is very fast, we can find this in today's vehicles that use a lot of very sophisticated technology, namely in terms of engines, electricity, and its newest features, especially on two-wheeled vehicles. Therefore, the user community is required to be more selective in choosing a vehicle both in terms of quality and quantity. Including in the selection of spare parts on vehicle engines must use good quality, this is useful as a motorbike power booster, especially in the ignition system, namely spark plugs as a vital tool that sprinkles sparks in the combustion chamber. Recently, many spark plugs have been found that are not good enough so that the power generated by the vehicle is reduced. The purpose of this test is as a Comparative Test of the Endurance of Various Motorcycle Spark Plugs by Using a Spark Plug Tester so that it can be seen that the spark plug is suitable or not used in the vehicle which aims to get maximum performance.

Abstract

Quality is the overall characteristics and characteristics of a product or service whose ability to satisfy needs, both expressed and implied (Irwan & Haryono, 2015). In this era of increasingly competitive industrialization, every business person who wants to win the competition in the industrial world will pay full attention to quality. QCC is a new concept to improve the quality and productivity of industrial/service work. It is evident that one of the success factors of industrialization in Japan is the effective implementation of QCC. In this research journal, the quality of crude palm oil (CPO) levels is decreasing. There are 3 types of defects, namely levels of FFA (Free Fatty Acids), levels of Moisture (Water) and levels of Dirt (Stool). Of these three, the most dominant are FFA levels and Moisture levels. Free fatty acid content (FFA) of 158 samples tested contained 150 samples of free fatty acids (FFA) which were outside the company standard. Then followed by moisture content with a total defect of 45 samples from 158 test samples. At the level of dirt (Dirt) there are absolutely no samples that are outside the company's standards.

Abstract

Clinic is a health service facility that organizes individual health services that provide basic and specialized medical services, is organized by more than one type of health worker and is led by a medical staff (Menkes RI, 2001). Clinic Pratama BSMI Klaten is an institution engaged in the field of health services that provides quality basic health services. Present as a follow-up to the post-earthquake service process in Yogayakarta-Central Java on May 26, 2006 Inaugurated on November 13, 2006 by the Chairperson of the MPR. RI Dr. Hidayat Nurwahid, MA and the general chairman of BSMI DR.dr. H. Basuki Supartono, SP.OT, FICS, MARS. So far, the recording of patient medical records at the BSMI Klaten Primary Clinic is still using book media. This means that all these activities are carried out without the assistance of a computer so that it can result in lost or lost clinical records of various data. This, according to the author, is still very ineffective because it makes it difficult when presenting data such as an example of presenting data on treatment history or medical records for each patient which will take a long time. To overcome this problem, an information system that is able to provide fast information to patients and the public is needed. In order to improve services and improve the performance of each unit which is interconnected and integrated. Analysis and design of management information systems at the BSmi Klaten Pratama clinic which was made using the PHP programming language and the server using MySQL. The designed process consists of a registration unit, an initial examination of the patient by a nurse, a doctor's examination, a medical support unit, a pharmacy and a cash payment system, each of which can be data-integrated in a Clinical Management information system.

Abstract

Net Plant Heat Rate (NPHR) merupakan indikator kehandalan dan efisiennya sebuah pembangkit thermal khususnya PLTU. Semakin kecil nilai NPHR maka PLTU dinyatakan semakin efisien dan sebaliknya. Terdapat 3 parameter utama yang menunjukkan indikasi perubahan nilai NPHR suatu PLTU yaitu beban (load) neto yang disuplai oleh PLTU, jumlah konsumsi batubara dan nilai kalori batubara. Semakin besar beban neto yang disalurkan PLTU ke jaringan, maka nilai NPHR akan semakin kecil atau bagus. Dalam monitoring NPHR PLTU UBJOM Tenayan unit 1 menggunakan perhitungan metode input-output terdapat indikasi peningkatan nilai NPHR yang berbanding lurus dengan meningkatnya nilai auxiliary power. Meningkatnya nilai auxiliary power berkaitan erat dengan beban neto yang dihasilkan oleh PLTU ke jaringan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemecahan solusi dengan melakukan performance test untuk mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan dalam perhitungan NPHR metode heat loss. Perhitungan dengan metode heat loss memiliki keunggulan untuk mengklasifikasi faktor yang menyebabkan peningkatan NPHR. Dengan mengetahui faktor losses tersebut, root cause failure dapat ditemukan dan penyusunan failure defense task yang direncanakan semakin akurat. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, auxiliary power merupakan penyumbang nilai NPHR terbesar yang masuk dalam kategori plant controllable. Melalui penyusunan managemen auxiliary power berbasis pareto yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan 5 peralatan main auxiliary yaitu SA Fan, BFP, Condensate Pump, CWP dan cooling fan yang menjadi sumber penyebab meningkatnya main auxiliary power sebesar 2% dan berdampak pada losses sebesar 55,16 kCal/kWh serta loss production sebesar Rp. 24,602,765.81 per-hari.

Abstract

Motorcycle ignition which also functions as a motorcycle safety needs to be designed and made as safe as possible to avoid the loss of the vehicle from theft cases. This equipment is designed to turn on/off and search for motorcycles using a remote from a smartphone with an android operating system via a bluetooth network. The bluetooth input is controlled using the Arduino Uno microcontroller. From the test results, it is found that the maximum distance that can be achieved between Android and Bluetooth to operate a motorcycle engine is about 10 meters. This system also makes our motorcycle engine ignition a smart ignition.

Abstract

Tire patch is an activity to repair the tire incompletely only on the part that is leaking. the tire patch tool uses canned gas as a heater, the use of canned gas as a tire heater turns out to have many shortcomings such as the results of the patch being less sticky, the patching time is quite long and it costs a lot of money to buy canned gas. The methodology used in this study is the method of validity, namely testing the hot temperature on an Arduino Uno-based automatic tire patch with a Bluetooth connection. The result of designing an ergonomic motorcycle tire patch tool based on Arduino Uno. The control system tool can work in accordance with its supporting instruments by detecting hot temperatures to operating the device using a Bluetooth connection, there are two types of support systems which are often referred to as software and hardware, so the design process is carried out on both of these supports. The test was carried out 3 times. The first test using a temperature of 80-100 oC takes 3 minutes 28 seconds. The second test using a temperature of 100-120 oC takes 4 minutes 30 seconds with poor results because the results of the patch cannot withstand a large load and cannot withstand being used for too long, while the last or third test uses a temperature of 120-160 oC with the required time. 5 minutes 40 seconds with good patching results.

Abstract

The tire is the part of the motorbike that is in direct contact with the road surface. Selection of the correct tires, greatly determines the safety of riders from the dangers of slides on certain roads. In this research, the author aims to determine the wear rate of standard tires for Products A, B and C 90 / 90-14 M / C 46P when traveling, to prevent damage or wear of tires. In the comparison of Speeds 3,000 rpm, 3500 rpm and 4000 rpm with total load 223 Kg, 233 Kg and 243 Kg, with 1 hour in 3 times of testing. The erosion that occurs in the new tire A is 192 grams with 8.14% erosion and 7588 km / hour in tire mileage. Meanwhile, the new B tires are 182 grams, 5.71% scraping and 10,568 km / hr of the tire mileage. While the new C tire is 188 grams, 5.54% erosion and 11384 km / hour tire mileage.
