Abstract

There are still many uses of transportation means to move goods manually, even though there are many shortcomings in it. One of the drawbacks is that the push button must be continuously pressed by the operator until it reaches the desired place, this of course will take a lot of time and full concentration from the operator himself. In this final project, a prototype design of an Arduino Uno based automatic metal conveyance is designed to be able to move goods automatically. The design of the prototype for automatic metal conveyance based on Arduino Uno uses the infrared avoid obstacle sensor as object detection, DC motor as the main driver for moving goods, and uses LD micro software. The working method of the prototype design for this automatic metal transportation device based on Arduino Uno is when the automatic switch is turned on, the DC motor 1 works to transport the drum containing metal vertically (up and down) to the infrared avoid obstacle sensor, then the DC motor 2 will work horizontally (forward -back) heading to tubs 1, 2, and 3 to move metal automatically. Based on the test results that have been carried out, the design of the prototype automatic transportation tool based on Arduino Uno has a difference in the duration of time to transport metal with different loads, namely, if without load the time needed to transport goods is 94 seconds, with a load of 36.5 grams is 101 seconds. , and with a load of 111.1 is 103 seconds, with a time difference from no load to a load of 111.1 grams is 9 seconds.

Abstract

ABSTRACT As time passes by people are more depending on technology also leaving behind traditional culture and legacy from Indonesia traditional culture, especially the art of traditional dance and other kind of dance that exist in Indonesia, demand upon the art of dance has also decreased within the times. To solve this problem a dance academy will be designed with high technology concept in bandung to keep up with the times and also increase the demand for Indonesia’s traditional dances, the dance academy design is facilitated with high technology based system as a supporting system such as infographic board, academy access, voice recognition command, touch screen dance hall to attract demand for non local civilian so the dance academy will be much more interesting and people can learn the art of dance each other. Abstract

Internet network can connect every computer that is connected in it, not only sharing information but also enables each computer to do work together, thus allowing users to control other computers. In football robot requires good coordination between robots using decision making or control carried out by one robot that requires data on the environmental conditions of all robots. Therefore we need a reliable data communication system. This research aims to design and analyze a data communication system on a soccer robot team. The method used in this research is to build a communication system between clients and servers using the secure shell (ssh) protocol. The secure shell (ssh) protocol is a network protocol located at the application layer of the TCP / IP protocol, which is used to control computers (remotely), send files, and others. This secure shell (ssh) protocol is used to connect clients and servers to robot simulations using the Robot Operating System (ROS) software as a tool to make robot software and Gazebo software as simulators. The quality of the data communication that was designed was then tested using Wireshark software. The parameters of Quality of Service will be measured between throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter that refers to the TIPHON standard. Based on the results of testing the data communication system that has been done by placing the machine close to the access point, the average throughput is 28,02619 kbps (very good), an average packet loss of 0% (very good), a delay of 0.28651552697192 ms (very good ), and jitter for 0.00000814 ms (good). Meanwhile testing by placing the machine within 10 meters with an access point obtained an average throughput of 15,44595 kbps (very good), an average packet loss of 0% (very good), a delay of 0.520748991128 ms (very good), and jitter of 0.0000144 ms (good). From the tests conducted showed that the communication system that was made was by the initial plan and the communication system was reliable.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Online Game Activity Center is a place that provides various needs and accommodates various activities for online game lovers and online game developers. In Indonesia, especially Jakarta, many people play online games, some use computers/PCs, smartphones/cellphones, consoles/consoles, and Virtual Reality/VR, and some hold and implement online game tournaments, but there are no good places and facilities and adequate which can cover all activities in online games. At this Online Game Activity Center all needs are provided in one place which is expected to be a place that can accommodate all activities related to online games. Abstract

The Organic Vegetables Research Center is a place that is used to observe, analyze, develop and expand scientific insights as well as to discover new facts that exist in organic vegetable plants. The results of this study in the form of vegetable seedlings planted in the cultivation area. This vegetable research study aims to improve the quality of vegetables in the community so that vegetables consumed by the community have high nutrition and to be able to compete with the quality of vegetables imported from abroad. Environmentally Friendly Architecture in its application in the area of ​​the Organic Vegetables Research Center is to minimize the use of electrical energy that comes from PLN and is replaced by utilizing Natural Resources, namely the sun and wind which are channeled through Solar Panels and Wind Turbines. Then maximize the air and sunlight that enters the building and the use of environmentally friendly materials in each building.

Abstract

This case study is how to see the application of traditional Javanese architecture in the design of hotels and resorts in the Drini beach area, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This research focuses on observing several hotels and resorts in the Gunung Kidul Regency area of ​​Yogyakarta in order to get an idea related to the design of hotels and resorts. From the results of observations of several hotel and resort objects, it can be concluded that almost all buildings use a typical Javanese traditional roof, namely the joglo roof or the pyramid roof. Traditional Javanese building wall materials use a lot of bamboo which is woven or wood and are grouped into closed buildings, and in this resort building the use of a roof truss design with a high ridge and roofing materials from natural materials is one of the things that makes Joglo's house feel cold and cool. . The distance at this resort is very good because the distance between buildings will create and bring air circulation in the environment naturally so that it will cause cool air and wind, very suitable because in the design of this resort using a compound type of building. The opening in question is in the form of a hole that is able to bring in winds for fresh air circulation and wind, which is not directly exposed to the path of the sun.

Abstract

This Resort Hotel on Laki Island, Seribu Islands is designed to provide accommodation facilities for tourists which also provide beach-style tourism and recreation facilities that support archipelagic tourism and other supporting facilities. The application of Modern Tropical Architecture was chosen because of the mass formation and site circulation which is designed to describe the characteristics of island tourism activities into the building structure. This makes the appearance of the building more expressive and has character following the function of the building as a resort hotel. Tourism is a sector with great potential to increase the country's foreign exchange. One of the places with natural beauty that can develop the tourism sector is Laki Island. Laki Island is an island with white sandy lowlands and is overgrown with trees, mangrove trees, ketapang trees, wind wood and waru trees on the beach. Therefore, a tourist spot needs to be supported by the existence of accommodation facilities in the form of a resort hotel, given its location which is quite far from the city and it is not possible to visit and enjoy all tourist attractions in just one day.

Abstract

This final project aims to design a microstrip antenna that can be applied to amplify WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) signals and 4G LTE networks with a frequency of 1800 MHz. The design of the microstrip antenna was made because of the large number of users of the Wifi network and the lack of BTS on the 4G network with the Indosat provider, so that the quality of the network decreases, so a tool is needed as a WIFI and 4G signal amplifier using a rectangular microstrip antenna. The material used to relax this antenna is FR-4 Epoxy (double layer) which has a dielectric constant (єr) = 4.3 with a thickness dimension (h) of 2.5 mm and a copper thickness (t) of 0.035 mm. To get the antenna design, it is necessary to calculate each antenna parameter, so that it can design and simulate microstrip antennas using ANSYS HFSS software. Based on the research that has been done, the antenna design results with the formula have a patch length L = 40,442 mm, groundplane length Lg = 50,042 mm, main supply length Lf = 16.25 mm, patch width W = 51.19 mm, groundplane width Wg = 60, 79 mm, and the width of the main supply line Wf = 1.33mm. From the simulation results of the ANSYS HFSS software, the value of VSWR = 1.382, Gain = 5.128dB, after getting the antenna dimension values and performing simulations on the ANSYS HFSS software, then fabrication and looking for antenna parameters using the Spectrum Analyzer at the Radar LAB, University of Indonesia, obtained the results from the test. research value of VSWR = 1.17, Gain 22.9dB. After it is stated according to the specifications for the signal amplifier on the antenna that has been fabricated, then measurements are made before and after using the antenna on the Wireshark software. The results of the comparison of QoS (Quality of Service) measurements in the morning, afternoon and evening after using a microstrip antenna on a WIFI network. Throughput = 1472.22bps, Packet Loss = 0%, Delay = 6.4ms, Jitter = 0.0153ms. For the value on the LTE network Throughput = 1359.24bps, Packet Loss = 0.103%, Delay = 10.1ms, Jitter = 0.01958ms.
