FORUM PAEDAGOGIK adalah jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Padangsidimpuan terbit berkala enam bulan sekali yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana komunikasi ilmiah insan akademik dalam bidang ilmu-ilmu kependidikan, organisasi pendidikan dan kepemimpinan, dan pendidikan Islam. Redaksi mengundang para pakar dan akademisi untuk menyumbangkan naskah, baik berupa hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, sesuai dengan kajian jurnal. Abstract

The political education discourse in the development of democracy in Indonesia has influenced the progress of the education system. This is inseparable from the long process of history with various educational political products that have been produced that contribute to the progress of the nation's education. The political education discourse in Indonesia is still proceeding in producing an ideal democratic system. In political discourse, education is still used as one of the main issues in raising public confidence in the leaders, starting from colonialism, a new era, reformation to the present. Thus, the politics of education is one important thing in realizing a positive symbol of democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA diidentikkan seperti cara para ilmuwan memperoleh teori atau konsep yang dikenal dengan metode ilmiah. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran IPA adalah Levels of Inquiry. Artikel ini merupakan studi analisis literatur yang mendeskripsikan tentang karakteristik Levels of inquiry dalam pembelajaran IPA serta hubungannya dengan keterampilan proses sains. Berdasarkan analisis literatur yang dilakukan, diperoleh hubungan antara pendekatan levels of inquiry dan keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran IPA. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada tiap tahapan levels of inquiry melatihkan keterampilan proses sains yang berbeda sesuai dengan level atau tingkatannya, mulai dari level terendah yaitu discovery learning yang melatihkan rudimentary skills hingga level tertinggi hypothetical inquiry yang melatihkan advanced skills. Dengan demikian, Levels of Inquiry memiliki hubungan dengan keterampilan proses sains sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pendekatan pembelajaran IPA untuk melatihkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mulai jenjang pendidikan dasar,menengah hingga jenjang pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

AbstractThe application of good Muslim personality especially in IAIN Padangsidimpuan on Al-Qur’an and hadist must be from a formal Islamic custom and culture firstly. Further, there must be a role or policy for illegal man and woman couple inside and outside of campus. The certification for teachers and lectures must create a lesson plan on a good Muslim personality approach (character) to sharper students and stronger them in study, not let them chat or talk something not with relevance to what must be expected as their responsibility.Keywords: Al-Qur’an and guidence of a life

Abstract

AbstractSufism moral-based education paradigm is shaped purely conceptual studies offer ideas who want to build a whole person. Competency-based curriculum and character-based curriculum emphasizes the concept that only a social reality that has its disadvantages. Character of education needs to be a deeper meaning and should be enriched by elements of corresponding to the frame of Islamic education, they are Sufism and morals. As national education, it serves to develop the ability and character development and civilization of dignity in the context of the intellectual life of the nation, it aims to develop the potential learners become religious, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. Sufism morals-based education is offered to orient and focus the moral of Sufism based curriculum, hiring teachers that teacher candidates must pass examinations that support teacher competence, both in the field of social and human decency. Integration and interconnective learning become one of the most important thing because the moral foundation of knowledge of Sufism as an established religion. So privatization law and legality to be one way to realize the goal of national education at the government so that the supremacy of law achieves a healthy life and hereafter.Keyword: Paradigm, Education and Sufism

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ achievement and learning activities in Islamic education by Enquiry. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is implemented for 2 months with two cycles, in July and August 2016. Data collection tool used is a test and observation. Test is used to measure learning achievement and observation is used to measure students’ learning activities during the implementation cycle I and II. Data analysis is done by qualitative descriptive. The results shows achievement is increased for student learning activities on the subjects of Islamic education on Munakahat materials using the inquiry method. The average percentages before the action is held on 35.25%, after the application of the method of Enquiry, the average percentages of in the first cycle is 61.76%, and after the second cycle is 91, 17%. The average activity of students in the learning process of Islamic education in the first cycle is 62.79% and the second cycle is 86.39%. Based on the results, this study suggests using the inquiry method to increase students’ achievement and learning activities, especially since the Munakahat material directly is related to the various problems facing mankind.

Abstract

The classical period is a symbol of the progress of the glorious Islamic ummah throughout history. The duration of that glory has not matched it, including the glory of America. Halaqah as a circular learning system is one of the legacies of classical Islamic education that is still used today. Munazharah is a stage of debate to measure abilities as well as the heritage of classical Islamic education that is in demand. Munazharah in the Islamic education system is hardly unseen to be used by Muslims. But this munazharah system is still enshrined in various competitions, such as in MTQ.

Abstract

Fenomena penerapan pembelajaran bilingual pada anak usia dini sangat melekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai antisipasi dari persaingan global. Anak yang diberikan pembelajaran bilingual sejak dini akan mampu bersaing dengan dunia luar dikarenakan bisa mempelajari kebudayaan luar yang notabene menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bilingual pada anak usia dini di TK Al Azhar, Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti. Subjek penelitian ini adalah, Kepala Pengelola TK Al Azhar, guru kelas, perilaku peserta didik, dan orang tua. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi,wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakanmodel Miles dan Huberman selama berada di lapangan. Aktivitas dalam analisis data meliputi data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap anak mampu mengembangkan bahasa secara alami. Namun, pengembangan bahasa juga dipengaruhi oleh orang tua, lingkungan dan dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam pembelajaran dua bahasa (bilingual).Pembelajaran bilingual pada anak usia dini tidak boleh dengan paksaan dan harus dilakukan dengan kegiatan yang menyenangkan seperti, bernyanyi, bermain, danpembiasaan.

Abstract

AbstractTo enhance the learning of mathematics, teachers should be able to deliver lessons well so that students easily understand and full of enthusiasm in learning. A teacher must have the ability to create a learning activity towards achieving optimal learning outcomes. Therefore a teacher should be able to select and use teaching methods or approaches making it easier to achieve the learning objectives. One method or open ended approach. Approach one open ended approachto learning provides opportunities for the development of mathematical skills by giving students keluasaan active and creative thinking to solve a problem. Open ended approach is better known as an open approach to the problem. In general, the implementation of the approach to teaching mathematics that involves the use of open problems and routine problems that have more than one solution.

AbstractIslamic religious education has been going on since the introduction of Islam to Indonesia. From that time until now there has been dynamics of Islamic education in Indonesia. When Indonesian independence, the one that concerns the government and people of Indonesia is issues related to religious education. To find out about the religious education policy can be traced through the education law in Indonesia starting from the enactment of Law No. 4 of l950 to Act No. 20 of 2003. Abstract

Physical education is an integral part of the overall education. Generally, this type of education always be integrated with physical education and health. Physical education is not only related with physical development but is closely connected with the spiritual and mental health. A popular saying proves it "in a healthy body there is a healthy and strong spirit" that "matched" with the Arabic phrase al aqlu al salim fi al jism al salim.Physical education aims to develop aspects of physical fitness, motor skills, discipline, in addition to the physical education can also develop social skills, critical reasoning, emotional stability, moral action and aspects of a healthy lifestyle. All the goals will be achieved through training and physical activity (exercise) which is continuous and regular planned. Physical training plays an important role in improving physical fitness. Physical fitness will determine the person's physical ability to perform daily activities. Daily activities will run smoothly and can be accomplished either by physically healthy, fit, and productive.
