Abstract

This research aims to clarify and expose the causes of the less effective the editorial management process in Gramata Publishing. The descriptive method was used to describe the process of editorial management in Publishing studies based on data Gramata library and observations directly at Gramata Publishing. The results showed an overview the process of publishing a book on Self- publishing is not raw Gramata. Sometimes in the process of management there is a change for the sake of efficiency.

Abstract

This study focuses on the practices of the ESP (English for Spesific Purposes) lecturer and students toward code-switching and code-mixing (CS/CM) in the class activity. The study used descriptive qualitative method in the research. In collecting the data, the researcher shared some questionnaires and did interviews and observation. It provides the clear findings of the actual implementation of the institutional language policy on the medium of instruction in the classroom. CS/CM in both Indonesian and English languages emerged as the lecturer’s code choice in the classroom instruction. Such language practice seems not to only have undermined the role of English as the stipulated medium of instruction, but also underestimated the speech behaviour of bilinguals. It causes the conflict between the language policy and the actual use of English and Indonesian in the classroom.

Abstract

Kini booth sudah berkembang sangat pesat. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih dapat memudahkan orang-orang kreatif dan memiliki ilmu pengetahuan di bidang tiga dimensi (3D) untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya, khusus nya dalam pembuatan booth. Keberadaan booth sudah banyak digunakan dalam mempromosikan produk maupun jasa, keperluan event dan lain-lain. Booth menjadi media promosi yang cukup sukses untuk menarik perhatian konsumen. Fungsi booth yaitusebagai ajang promosi dan pembangun imeg perusahaan dan membangun korespondensi yang lebih dekat dengan pihak yang menjadi target pengguna. Perancangan adalah kemampuan untuk membuat beberapa alternatif pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian diharapkan perancangan adalah kemampuan untuk membuat beberapa alternatif pemecahan masalah. Perancangan desain booth tiga dimensi (3D) yang  bertujuan sebagai media promosi produk dancow. Perancangan Desain booth dancow menggunakan konsep desain yang sederhana. Dimana konsep tersebut mengandalkan material yang mudah dibuat dan diperoleh. Proses Perancangan Desain Booth 3D untuk produk Dancow di perusahaan Xpro Organizer di awali dengan riset. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan konsep yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan dalam menghadapi pesaingnya yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk visualisasi tigadimensi (3D) terhadap desain yang dihasilkan. Proses perancangan visual tiga dimensi (3D) menggunakan software autodesk 3Ds Max 2010 dan plugin Vray 2.2 dan produk akhir dari perancangan desain booth berupa visualisasi tiga dimensi (3D) dalam bentuk media cetak dan mini booth.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi khususnya di bidang informasi dan komunikasi telah berkembang sedemikian pesatpadalokasi perusahaan atau instansi yang dimiliki, hingga diunggah ke internet dan berpotensi untuk dilihat oleh khalayak luas semakin besar.Sebuah video profile memiliki jenisnya masing - masing, selain berupa tampilan video (melalui shooting menggunakan kamera, dimana menggunakan objek yang nyata, seperti benda, manusia, dan lainnya), video profile dapat dikombinasikan atau dibuat full dengan melibatkan animasi 2D atau 3D sehingga hasil akhirnya pun akan terlihat lebih menarik. Semua bergantung pada konsep yang diciptakan untuk mewakili apa yang ditawarkan atau ingin disampaikan kepada konsumen maupun masyarakat luas.Penggunaan video profile sendiri sebenarnya sudah dianggap penting dan menjadi kebutuhan mutlak sebagai sarana promosi dan media komunikasi paling efektif. Memiliki fungsi sebagai alat marketing, maka video profile mampu memberikan pemahaman atas apa yang perusahaan atau instansi tersebut miliki selama ini.Adalah Sekolah Master Indonesia, merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan gratis yang berada di wilayah Depok, tepatnya di sampingterutama pada multimedia.Multimediaalat yang dapatpresentasi yang interaktif dan informatif yang mengkombinasikan teks, grafik, animasi, audio, gambar, dan video yang digunakan untuk keunggulan bersaing. Multimedia merupakan salah satu cara yang tepat untuk mempermudah menyampaikan informasi serta mampu menghasilkan sesuatu menjadi lebih komunikatif. Berbagai informasi ditawarkan dalam bentuk multimedia, salah satu penerapannya adalah video profile.

Abstract

Landscape portrait concept is not new, but in its application and use, including rare. In landscape photography, many photographers featuring views of the widest-shaped or landscape (horizontal) and rarely use the portrait (vertical). The research questions are how photographing landscape portrait composition, whether landscape portrait composition can enrich the composition of the landscape, and how the outcome of portrait landscape that can be enjoyed in general. The methods used are observation, exploration on the method of creation, experiment or improvisation, embodiment, and presentation of work. The sceneries in Bali have been selected to provide the different compositions using landscape portrait composition. In photographing the landscape portrait, photographers should use good composition, as in the portrait landscape use good composition can provide the depth dimension of the photograph, so the photos taken can still be attractive at first sight.

Abstract

This research analyzed Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) in improving the reading comprehension ability of the 2nd semester Publishing students at Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif and the difficulties found in applying the CSR technique in improving reading comprehension ability. The aims of this research were to find out if CSR strategy improved the student's reading comprehension ability and to find out the difficulties found in applying CSR strategy in improving the reading comprehension ability. The methodology used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data of this research were the result of reading tests. The subjects of the research were forty-four students of the second semester of Publishing study program at Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif. The findings of the research showed that the mean of pre-test was 54,3 and the mean of post-test was 70,2. Based on the findings and the analysis of the data above, it was concluded that using CSR improved the students reading comprehension.

Abstract

This research aims at exploring the management of writing and publishing the school textbooks in Curicullum 2013. Data are collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Respondents in this reseach are the authors, editors, book designers, layouters, and illustrators of Curriculum 2013. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. Data are analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative analysis technique. This research can be used as inputs to address problems manuscript textbook procurement associated with Curicullum 2013, particularly in an effort to improve the quality of school textbooks of elementary, junior high or high school. The end result of this research is that the management of writing and publishing school textbooks in Curicullum 2013 have some problems, for instance there is standard operating procedures in writing and designing.

Abstract

The type of plastic packaging that is popular among the public is bottle packaging, plastic bottle packaging always has a bottle cap. Some people only know that the part of the bottle cap is only on the outer cap, even though the plastic bottle cap consists of two types, namely the outer cap (cap) and the inner cap (plug). The plastic material used to make the plug is Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), a telon oil plug is produced using an injection molding machine, by inserting plastic pellets into the hopper and then heating it by the barrel, plastic pellets that have melted will be injected into the mold ( print). In the process of making the telon oil plug, a defect was found. From the observation, it is known that several types of defects that occur during the LLDPE oil plug production process include black dot, flashing, and unmould / short shot. Defects that occur during the telon oil plug production process are caused by damage, contamination, and mismatches in the engine parameter settings. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes and solutions of defects that occur in LLDPE telon oil plugs with the HAITIAN 1600MA injection molding machine at PT X. Some solutions are made to reduce defects that occur in telon oil LLDPE plugs is to clean the material reservoir, repair or replace the mold, clean the hopper before loading the material, and set up the barrel parameter 180-230oC, inject pressure 60 bar, holding pressure 30 bar, speed 17.8 seconds.

Abstract

There are many things that need to be prepared in the process of publishing daily newspapers, starting from preparation of texts, photos, illustrations, until the process of distribution. This research describes the layout process in Republika. The layout process plays an important role in the look of a newspaper. In the process layout, there are some people who are involved, namely, managing editor, editor, photo editor, and stylist layout. Based on the experience of industry practices, everyone associated with the potentially problematic atak process so that it can interfere with the smooth running of the process say. The problem will be more severe if insufficient layout styling using software related to duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

Beberapa tahun belakangan ini perkembangan dunia bisnis mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat, untuk dapat bertahan perusahaan harus mempunyai solusi pemasaran yang efektif salah satunya dengan cara melakukan suatu perancangan desain kemasan. Kemasan secara tidak langsung  sangat berpengaruh dalam sebuah pemasaran produk karena kemasan tidak hanya sebagai profesinalitas perusahaan, bahkan kemasan juga dijadikan sebagai suatu branding/identitas perusahaan untuk meningkatkan minat pembeli. Bagaimana cara merancang kemasan kacang sihobuk olahanud. TADODO agar menjadi suatu identitas perusahaan dan mampu menjadi solusi dalam pemasaran. Dengan adanya perancangan kemasan, masyarakat akan mengenal ud. TADODO sebagai usaha yang memproduksi kacang sihobuk  sehingga meningkatkan minat pembeli.
