Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how much the independent variables of discipline and competence of lecturer influence on student achievement Publishing department Creative Media State Polytechnic of Jakarta, either partially or simultaneously. Research subjects were 68 students. Each questionnaire consists of 15 questions for each study variable discipline, competence, and student achievement. To determine the influence of independent variables of discipline and competence on student achievement is determined by the regression equation, both multiple regression and simple regression. To determine the significance, the data obtained from the questionnaire was tested its validity through the validity, reliability, and test for normality. The data processing using SPSS software version 14. The results showed that (1) discipline positive and significant impact on student achievement with 99% accuracy, (2) the competence of lecturers positive and significant impact on student achievement with 99% accuracy, (3) discipline and competence of lecturer together positive and significant impact on achievement student with 95% accuracy.

Abstract

Humans are creatures that are able to move and move from one place to another. Long before the wheel was discovered as part of the means of human transportation, animals and livestock such as horses, cows, camels and even elephants were used as a means of transportation. Apart from being a tool to speed up and lighten the travel time of these animals, sometimes the burden is attached to the rider. After the wheels were found, humans made transport vehicles that functioned as places for passengers and goods which were then pulled by animals so that the loads carried became more efficient and more efficient. Along with the development of time from time to time until finally motorized vehicles were found, the distance between the movement of people and goods was getting farther, more numerous and faster. Humans can move freely with current road facilities and adequate facilities. Almost everyone today can afford a vehicle from a bicycle to a plane depending on the abilities and needs of each individual. Movement or mobilization is not only human but also goods. Movable goods clearly require transportation assistance and humans as the perpetrators and are supported by the ease of road facilities and infrastructure. Each vehicle created has its own specifications and specifications, be it designation, capacity and recommended load. For example, passenger vehicles are not allowed to carry goods and vice versa. Especially if it is related to the recommended load capacity, whether it is a passenger vehicle or goods, it will clearly affect the safety of both the driver, passengers and luggage. Seeing the tendency in Indonesia, things related to the transportation function and discipline are often violated, the writer and photographer in this study is interested in the theme of 'overload', namely the portrait of transportation, especially freight transport in Indonesia, which is often seen carrying excess burden or over capacity in street / Street photography works. Abstract

This paper examines the problem of low editing skills , especially among students of Creative Media State Polytechnic Publishing. This study also departs from the problem of untested editing skills . Therefore, this article aims to 1) map the level of testing of the editing skills of the Creative Media State Polytechnic Publishing Study Program Students with a specialization in editing; 2) mapping the level of editing skill testing of the State Polytechnic Creative Media Publishing Study Program Students with a specialization in writing; 3) produce a comparison map of the testing skills of the State Polytechnic Creative Media Publishing Study Program between those who are interested in editing with those who are interested in writing. The study with the grand qualitative method used a script editing design. The data processing methods are descriptive and comparative. The data collection techniques applied were interviews and questionnaires. The activity plan showing the procedure for this study is as follows. Publishing student data collection who will be the study sample. Conducting interviews to get initial data. Testing the editing competence of Publishing students. Processing test data. Formulating policies, models, and conclusions.This study has resulted in the editing competency level of the Creative Media State Polytechnic Publishing students. The level of competence does not represent a qualified ability. The basic editing skills of the tested students showed a very good level as evidenced by their generally very good grades. Spelling and grammar skills are quite good. However, the syntactic capabilities still need to be improved. Therefore, the improvement of editing competency still needs to be improved, especially with regard to applied editing. According to the level achievement of the editing competency level of the Creative Media State Polytechnic Publishing student, the following conclusions can be generated. Editing education process is not based on the knowledge aspect, but prioritizes practice. Language problems are an element that must be strengthened in Creative Media State Polytechnic Publishing Students. Elements of spelling, words, and sentences are a matter of editing that must be further honed.

Abstract

Pembentukan sebuah identitas perusahaan tidak hanya berhenti pada pembuatan maupun peremajaan sebuah logo, logo hanyalah awal dari sebuah langkah strategis yang harus disertai dengan pembuatan atau  peremajaan  elemen-elemen pendukungnya yang kemudian diterapkan secara konsisten dan berkesinambungan.Dengan adanya Corporate Identity yang baru, logo tersebut nantinya akan di aplikasikan ke setiap media promosi berupa spanduk, x-banner, katalog, dan lain-lain. Agar identitas Ucok Stickerdapat dikenal masyarakat luas dan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan penjualan.Redesign Corporate Identitydilatar belakangi karena kurang efektifnya corporate identity yang lama. Ucok Sticker sudah berdiri sejak 1990 akan tetapi belum mempunyai identitas yang tepat. Tujuan redesign corporate identity ini sebagai identitas ucok sticker agar memiliki filosofi yang sama dengan perusahaan.Proses redesign corporate identity ini menggunakan teknik penulisan. Adapun tekniknya yaitu observation (pengamatan langsung) yaitu penulis melakukan pengamatan langsung saat berada di ucok sticker, wawancara yaitu penulis melakukan wawancara dengan pemilik ucok sticker agar memperoleh penjelasan terperinci tentang data-data yang lebih lengkap dan akurat, kepustakaan yaitu penulis mencari berbagai sumber bacaan yang digunakan penulis untuk mencari data-data yang diperlukan untuk membantu penulisan penelitian ini.Penelitian ini merupakan logo baru. Dengan adanya logo baru ini diharapkan dapat menarik pelanggansebanyak-banyaknya. Logo tersebut nantinya yang akan mewujudkan visualisasi dan identitas perusahaan tersebut.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is currently one of the media in the learning process at various levels of education. Through ICT, the learning process in the classroom can be carried out properly, especially by educators (teachers) and students (students). Thus, ICT becomes the main tool for interacting learning regardless of space and time. Information technology-based learning information systems can present interesting and interactive learning models. In order for the application of learning information systems to give good results, optimization of the management function is needed in each stage of its development. The stages of the management function that are very familiar to stakeholders in the education sector consist of: Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling (POAC). With this management function, the application of learning information systems will be built and implemented properly. To measure the success of the implementation of this system, an evaluation of this educational program is needed. One of the most frequently used program evaluation models is the program evaluation model, the program evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam (Stufflebeam's Model), also known as the CIPP Model. Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS) Mathlaul Anwar Lampung is one of the schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion which also uses information technology as a medium in learning. In its application, the management function becomes the basis for MTS Mathlaul Anwar in building an information technology-based learning system.

Abstract

Penyusunan”Buklet Seputar Jalur Pelaju (Commuter Line) di Wilayah Jabodetabek” merupakan selembaran informasi dengan genre nonfiksi. Dalam penyusunan buklet ini penulis memberikan suatu informasi yang berkualitas, baik, dan jelas. Buklet ini disajikan dalam bentuk mengenalkan lebih dalam tentang Jalur Pelaju (Commuter Line) kepada masyarakat, baik pengguna KRL Commuter Line atau yang bukan pengguna KRL Commuter Line. Buklet ini diterbitkan dengan tujuan memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat bahwa KRL Commuter Line adalah transportasi massal dengan segala fasilitas yang lengkap, bukan hanya itu penulis juga bertujuan agar pengguna KRL Commuter Line dapat mengetahui tentang KRL Commuter Line bukan hanya menggunakannya saja.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to describe the process of editing, the role of copyeditor, and the difficulty in editing the manuscript of “Kamus Pertanian Umum”. The methods used are a study library, observation, and interviews. The results show that first, there is a difference house style for writing dictionaries in Penebar Swadaya and second, the role of copy editor is only involved in mechanical editing.

Abstract

The discussion of islamic contributions in the fields of art and science is very much embedded in the history of islamic civilization and culture. The rapid growth of Islam is recognized as a most influential civilization. Through this study, researchers invited readers to learn more about the contribution of Islam to the development of world civilization in both the fields of art and science. Descriptive research is used in this study because the information used in this study is wordplay rather than numerical figures obtained from the yellow scriptures, journals, magazines, newspapers, and books. The form of islamic contribution in arts by al-Ghozali talks about the art law itself being poured in his magnum opus (his masterpiece) of Ihya' 'Ulumuddin'. Whereas in science there are al-Khawarizmi with its discovery in the books of al-Jam’a wal Tafriq bil Hisab al-Hindi, al-falaki with astrological predictions in the books of al- 'uluf, ibn haytam and al-khoziny with optical and gravitational theories in the books of al-manadzir and mizanul hikmah, ar-razi the discoverer of fontanel's thread, in modern sociology ibn khaldun with the work of the Muqaddimah, and Avicenna in medicine of the Qanun fi at-Tib.

Abstract

V Update di V Radio Jakarta ini dibuat dengan tujuan agar pembaca mengetahui tentang penulisan ketentuan berita yang dapat dibacakan di V Update pada program-program di V Radio Jakarta dan agar pembaca mengetahui apa saja yang dilakukan saat membuat V Update di V Radio 106.6 FM Jakarta. Penulis meneliti dengan observasi dan studi pustaka di V Radio Jakarta dengan tujuan mengetahui bagaimana proses pembuatan konten V Update. Dari hasil observasi tersebut penulis melakukan proses pembuatan V Update sesuai dengan teori dan yang diajarkan oleh direktur program V Radio. Laporan ini disusun secara deskriptif dengan peneliti sebagai alat penelitiannya. Secara umum, pembuatan konten V Update melalui proses praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Karena konten ini tayang di radio, maka prosesnya pun tidak sekadar menulis, melainkan produk berupa rekaman suara.
