Abstract

Hinduism is known as a religion that has many ceremonies. The existence of ceremonies in Bali cannot be separated from the means of ceremony, and one of them is the Klakat. Klakat in Balinese Hindu teachings can also be philosophized as 3 frameworks of Balinese Hinduism where if we can combine these things, harmony in life will be able to feel good for ourselves and also our families and the vibrations will extend to the entire universe. frameworks in Balinese Hinduism include:Tatwa: In short, tatwa is the way we carry out religious teachings by deepening religious knowledge and philosophy.Moral: is the way for us to be religious by controlling our daily thoughts, words and actions so that they are in accordance with religious principles. Ceremony: is a religious activity in the form of the Yadnya ritual, which is known as the PancaYadnya: Dewa, Rsi, Pitra, Manusa, and Bhuta Yadnya. The ceremonial activities are seen to be carried out more by Hindus in Bali, while the aspects of Tattwa and Susila are not given much attention, whereas according to Weda Sruti, the way of religion in each "yuga" is different. Yuga is a cycle of times whose time in each era is uncertain. The era of the existence of the universe is divided into four yuga, namely Kerta Yuga, Tritya Yuga, Dwipara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. Each period (yuga) is associated with the main elements. The balance of population (humans) with nature (kamadhuk). The influence of the times on human nature. Available natural sources. The Kerta period is said to be the most stable era, namely the small population, good / positive human characteristics, and the availability of abundant natural resources. This stability was further reduced so that in the age of Kali things were much different, especially regarding the diminishing natural resources and human behavior that was further away from dharma. Therefore Hyang Widhi through the Supreme Rsi reminded mankind that the implementation of religious teachings is not the same in every era.

Abstract

The family is the first and foremost place of education for children. However, due to the influence of globalization and modernization, the phenomenon of materialistic and consumerist lifestyles has emerged, so that true happiness is measured by material (artha). Such a lifestyle can certainly cause a shift in the meaning of the family, such as the rise of divorce rates, family disorganization, lack of parental attention to children, domestic violence, MBA, and degradation of the younger generation. It is feared that people's lives can cause the values of social wisdom, spiritual values, and the duties of parents in building character in children to be neglected. Related to that, there is a family phenomenon in the city of Denpasar, namely the Graha Pasek family which is thought to be able to educate good character in their sons, and is suspected of being able to maintain the value of harmony between other family members, so that researchers are interested in conducting a deeper study of "Construction of the Formation of Characters in the Sukhinah Family at Graha Pasek Banjar Kaja, South Denpasar District, Denpasar City”. Abstract

At least there are some ties that make Balinese people's lives strongly bound, such as the "Color" system, which later developed into "Wangsa", which apparently cannot be separated from "Soroh", a kind of grouping of people based on blood relations by following the "Purusa" lineage vertically. In subsequent developments, the existence of "Color, House, and Soroh" is often identified, even explicitly mentioned as a form of "Casta", moreover it is also equipped with the appendages of "titles/titles" for each along with a hierarchical structure that is so well known and recognized. accepted as it is in the midst of Balinese society who incidentally is Hindu. This change in the Color system to Wangsa then became a kind of labeling the existence of a caste system in Balinese society.

Abstract

Today's art, in terms of quantity, has grown tremendously. However, this tremendous development was not followed by several other arts. On the one hand, there are those that are experiencing tremendous development, on the other hand, there are arts that are experiencing marginalization, which is caused by the lack of attention to these arts. Gamelan Batel is one of the arts that has become an art that is experiencing a shift. The existence of this art is very concerning, where the cause of the shift is the arts that grow and develop in society. The shift in the art of batel is caused by the performers of the arts themselves, one of which is the dalang. The puppeteers in the current era of globalization prefer other gamelan to join and as an accompaniment in wayang performances. The marginalization of the Batel Gamelan in Sibanggede Village can be seen by the decline in the values of traditional arts in the community, the displacement of traditional arts, the secularization of traditional arts, the narrowing of the space for performing traditional arts.
