Abstract

Gender Wayang is a Balinese gamelan musical instrument that is very special because it has a form, repertoire, and techniques to grow with virtuosic skills. The once dominant Gender Wayang gamelan grower is still played by men, but with the development of the times or the influence of globalization causes a shift from male anchors to the entry of female growers, especially those who are rife today in Denpasar city, namely young women. This research examined how the role of young women as well as the function of the role of young women in preserving Balinese culture, especially gamelan Gender Wayang in Denpasar City. This research is conducted with a qualitative approach with case study research design. The results of this study show that the contribution of the role of gender in the form of the role of young women in the Gender Wayang brings social and cultural changes in terms of the respect of this emancipation movement leading young women to participate in playing the Gender Wayang and has an impact on the development of its function in socio-culture, aesthetic presentation and economic function.

Abstract

The learning process of Hinduism based on local culture and wisdom needs to be conveyed in the learning process as an effort to encourage students to study the Hindu Religious Education curriculum and increase students' insight and experience in accordance with the region and religious practices where they live through the integration of wisdom values. local. Hindu religious education in schools is a process of inculcating and teaching Hindu religious material and values ​​for Hindu students who are responsive to the local advantages of the area where they live, and have a self-identity that is based on the identity of the nation and state in facing national and international competition. global and build religious moderation. However, at this time the teaching of Hindu religious education presented by the Ministry of Education and Culture has not opened up space for local wisdom that is regional in nature. This is what causes Hindu religious education teachers to try to be able to make strategies and designs in Hindu religious education based on local wisdom. The method used to solve the problem is a qualitative method where the data collection and data presentation is done descriptively. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data. Data collection is carried out using structured and in-depth interviews with purposive determination of respondents, observations are carried out continuously, and data analysis is carried out using triangulation techniques. The results of this study are the relationship between Hinduism and local wisdom, learning strategies for Hindu Religious Education based on local wisdom, learning design for Hindu religious education based on local wisdom, and obstacles in designing learning for Hindu Religious Education based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Education innature means generally includes all the efforts and deeds of the old generation to transfer their experience, knowledge, their wealth and skills to the younger generation to enable them to perform their life functions inthe same association as best aspossible. The covid-19 pandemic in May 2020, causing the paralysis of all sectors of life including the Education sector. Nonformal education becomes one of the alternative options for students to fill their free time, one of which is learning gamelan. Learning Gamelan Selonding is one of non-formal education. Based on this, the problems that can be proposed are: How the Method of Learning Gamelan Selonding On Sekaa Gong Sabha Winangun In Siatuasi Pandemic Covid-19To dissect the problem is used Constructivism Theory. Data is collected by observation, interview, and study of document results. After the data is collected then analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study in the form of Gamelan Selonding Learning Method is the first strategy to introduce gamelan selonding including the names of instruments, always reminding to obey prokes such as using masks during training, washing hands before arranging gamelan and approaching by teaching positive habits. The second is preparing methods to convey gending materials, especially during the current pandemic such as audio visual methods, listening methods, sectoral methods.

Abstract

Sociology is a social science which epistemologically sociology comes from the Latin, namely Socius which means friend, friend, while Logos means knowledge. As a science, sociology is a social knowledge that is composed of the results of scientific thought and can be critically controlled by other people or the public.Painting is a reflection of the state of the environment. When Indonesia was under colonialism, the New Art Movement (GSRB) appeared to undermine the Mooi Indie art building. The Mooi Indie concept was considered not to represent the situation of the oppressed, hungry, sad and depressed people at that time, instead depicting beautiful things (natural landscapes) and manipulating the situation. A paradigm to represent how painting has a close relationship with sociology.

Abstract

Ngerebeg is an ancient tradition in the village of Pakraman Tegallalang, Gianyar, Bali. This tradition should be preserved so that the younger generation does not misunderstand what Ngerebeg really means. With this problem raised the title "Preservation of the Ngerebeg Tradition in Hindu Religious Ceremonies". In a different endeavor from this tradition, each visual communication medium has a role and function similar to the preservation strategy for the Ngerebeg tradition. Therefore, there is a need for both conceptual and visual planning that conforms tothe code of ethics for preserving tradition. This design aims to obtain visual communication media that are communicative, and effective design criteria for the preservation of the Ngerebeg tradition. In addition, it is useful to increase knowledge and at the same time introduce this tradition to the wider community. ABSTRAK Ngerebeg merupakan suatu tradisi kuno yang berada di Desa Pakraman Tegallalang, Gianyar, Bali. Dimana tradisi ini patut dilestarikan agar para generasi muda tidak salah mengertikan apa arti sebenarnya dari Ngerebeg. Dengan adanya masalah ini penulis mengangkat judul “ Pelestarian Tradisi Ngerebeg DalamUpacara Agama Hindu”. Dalam usaha melestarikan tradisi ini, setiap media komunikasi visual memiliki peranan dan fungsi yang berbeda seperti halnya strategi pelestarian untuk tradisi Ngerebeg. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya perencanaan baik secara konseptual maupun visual yang menyesuaikan dengan kode etik pelestarian tradisi. Desain ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh media komunikasi visual yang efektif, komunikatif dan sesuai kriteria desain untuk melengkapi kegiatan pelestarian tradisi Ngerebeg. Selain itu, bermanfaat menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan sekaligus lebih memperkenalkan tradisi ini kepada masyarakat luas.

Abstract

The importance of art management to manage artistic activities is often overlooked by art performers. The lack of attention of artists to art governance often leads to a lack of professional performance in managing works of art (painting). This phenomenon causes not many artists to be known in the community because of the lack of information about works of art (painting) or the studio where the artist creates his work.The maintenance of works at the Fingerprint museum to the cleanliness of the works is done personally. Of course, for the distribution of works and maintenance of works, the quality and quality are guaranteed because Ngurah Gede Pemecutan has so much experience when he was the head of a division in a foreign company. This experience has enabled him to manage this museum well and sustainably. ABSTRAK Pentingnya manajemen seni untuk mengelola kegiatan berkesenian seringkali diabaikan oleh pelaku seni. Kurangnya perhatian seniman terhadap tata kelola seni sering menyebabkan kurangnya kinerja professional dalam mengelola karya seni (lukis). Fenomena ini yang menyebabkan tidak banyak seniman yang dikenal di masyarakat karena kurangnya informasi mengenai karya seni (lukis) atau studio tempat seniman itu mewujudkan karyanya. Pemeliharaan karya di museum Sidik Jari sampai dengan kebersihan karya dikerjakan secara pribadi. Tentunya untuk pendistribusian karya dan perawatan karya terjamin mutu dan kualitasnya karena begitu banyaknya pengalaman yang dimiliki oleh Ngurah Gede Pemecutan ketika beliau menjabat sebagai kepala bagian di perusahaan asing. Pengalaman inilah yang membuat beliau dapat mengelola museum ini secara baik dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a major change in learning traditions. Likewise, what happened in the Hindu religious music education study program at Denpasar University. It is interesting to study because the change in the process may have had an impact. This study does not seem to have received serious attention from intellectual circles. Learning problems that are applied online systems are often seen as the right method process during a pandemic. The question is how the system's online learning process is implemented and what impact will it have if it is applied to the Hindu religious Karawitan Education study program. The purpose of this study is to find answers to the success and other impacts experienced when online systems are applied in learning. The approach used in this study is to use a qualitative approach in which data is obtained through direct and indirect data. The behavioritic learning theory approach which emphasizes the process of structured knowledge obtained due to the stimulus to give birth to more complete knowledge is an important reference in this study. The results of this study found that the weaknesses and strengths that were observed in the online system showed that there were several obstacles in communication that determined the end of achieving goals that were less than optimal. ABSTRAK Pandemik corona 19 telah membawa perubahan besar pada tradisi pembelajaran. Demikian juga hal nya apa yang terjadi di prodi pendidikan karawitan keagamaan Hindu Universitas Denpasar. Menarik dikaji karena perubahan proses itu mungkin saja telah memberi dampak. Kajian ini tampaknya belum mendapat perhatian serius dari kalangan intelektual. Permasalahan pembelajaran yang diterapkan secara online sistem seringkali dipandang sebagai proses metoda yang tepat di saat pandemic. Pertanyaannya adalah bagaimana proses pembalajaran online sistem itu diterapkan dan dampak apa yang terjadi bila diterapkan pada prodi Pendidikan Karawitan keagamaan Hindu. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas keberhasilan dan dampak lainnya yang dialami ketika online sistem diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif di mana data yang diperoleh lewat data langsung dan tak langsung. Pendekatan teori belajar behavioritik yang menekankan pada proses pengetahuan secara tersetruktur yang diperoleh karena adanya rangsangan untuk melahirkan pengetahuan yang lebih lengkap menjadi rujukan penting dalam kajian ini. Hasil kajian ini menemukan bahwa kekurangan dan kelebihan yang terpantau dalam sistem online menunjukan adanya beberapa hambatan dalam komunikasi yang menentukan akhir dari pencapaian tujuan yang kurang maksimal.

Abstract

One of the reinforcing foundations in Hindu ritual practice is matters related to mythology (myth). The basis of this mythology is related to something 'occult' and even 'mystical' which is packaged in the form of a story or story, complete with all sanctions, precisely the risks that can occur and be experienced if you do not carry out as mandated. This mythological foundation then makes Hindus in carrying out their yadnya ritual obligations so obedient, submissive and sometimes even shrouded in fear. Fear not to do what is told in the myth. Because in the myth also equipped with various kinds of risks in the form of threats and even punishments that can occur, befall or be experienced by the people. This article will examine why mythology is the basis for strengthening every ritual practice of Hindus. ABSTRAK Salah satu landasan penguat dalam praktik ritual Hindu adalah hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan mitologi (mitos). Landasan mitologi ini berhubungan dengan sesuatu yang bersifat ‘gaib’ bahkan ‘mistis yang dikemas dalam bentuk cerita atau kisah, lengkap dengan segala sanksi, tepatnya risiko yang bisa terjadi dan dialami jika tidak melaksanakan sebagaimana sudah diamanatkan. Landasan mitologi ini kemudian menjadikan umat Hindu dalam melaksanakan kewajiban ritual yadnya begitu taat, tunduk bahkan adakalanya diselimuti rasa takut. Takut untuk tidak melaksanakan apa yang dicerita-kisahkan dalam mitos. Sebab di dalam mitos tersebut juga dilengkapi beraneka rupa risiko berupa ancaman bahkan hukuman yang bisa terjadi, menimpa atau dialami umat. Artikel ini hendak mengkaji mengapa mitologi menjadi landasan penguat dalam setiap praktik ritual umat Hindu.

Abstract

Joged Pingit and Baris ceremonies can be understood as part of a ritual and communal function, as part of rural life. Joged Pingit and Baris Ceremonies are held to fulfill spiritual needs. Joged Pingit and Baris Ceremonies are held to fulfill spiritual needs, the need to find meaning in life (cf. Danesi, 2012). Joged Pingit and Baris Ceremony indicate a religious experience and an aesthetic experience. Therefore, the concept of dancing in Joged Pingit and Baris Ceremony can be understood as an effort to involve the whole body in the search for the meaning of life and in communicating with God and other supernatural inhabitants. The essence of Joged Pingitan and Baris Ceremony is an effort by the supporting community to achieve unity with the god or Ida Bhatara who is worshiped as an istadewata. In order to achieve unity with the deity, Joged Pingitan and Baris ceremonies are containers that shape and incarnate beauty as a place where the god (Ida Bhatara) descends in incarnation as an object of worship, as indicated by the dancer who is in a trance. Furthermore, Joged Pingitan and Baris Ceremony are means to achieve the ultimate goal of the life of the supporting community (moksasrtham Jagad Hitam). Therefore, Joged Pingitan and Baris Ceremony become an integral part of Balinese Hindu religious ceremonies, which are based on the integration of a trilogy of Hindu aesthetic principles, namely Satyam (Kindness), Siwam (Truth), Sundaram (Beauty). ABSTRAK Joged Pingitan dan Baris upacara dapat dipahami sebagai bagian riual dan berfungsi komunal, sebagai bagian dari kehidupan pedesaan. Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara diadakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual. Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara diadakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual, kebutuhan untuk mencari makna hidup (cf.Danesi, 2012). Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara mengindikasikan pengalaman keagamaan dan pengalaman estetis. Karena itu, konsep menari dalam Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara dapat dipahami sebagai upaya melibatkan seluruh tubuh dalam pencarian makna hidup serta dalam usaha berkomunikasi dengan Tuhan dan penghuni gaib lainnya. Hakikat Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara merupakan usaha masyarakat pendukungnya untuk mencapai kesatuan dengan dewa atau Ida Bhatara yang dipuja sebagai istadewata. Dalam rangka mencapai kesatuan dengan dewa tersebut, Joged Pingitan dan Baris upacara merupakan wadah yang membentuk dan menjelmakan keindahan sebagai tempat dewa (Ida Bhatara) itu turun dalam penjelmaan sebagai obyek pemujaan, sebagaimana diindikasikan oleh penari yang kesurupan. Lebih jauh, Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara merupakan sarana untuk mencapai tujuan akhir kehidupan masyarakat pendukungnya (moksasrtham jagadhitam). Karena itu, Joged Pingitan dan Baris Upacara menjadi bagian integral dalam upacara agama Hindu Bali, yang didasarkan pada integrasi trilogi kaidah estetika Hindu, yaitu Satyam (Kebaikan), Siwam (Kebenaran), Sundaram (Keindahan).

Abstract

FL Studio is a digital station application that is used to record, convert and create audio, FL Studio was developed by a company called Image-Line in 2014, this research focuses on the use of FL Studio as a medium in the creative process of Karawitan Art (Baleganjur) which is expected to help the creative process of Karawitan Art (Baleganjur) during the Pandemic become more effective and efficient, Based on this, the problems studied in this study include (1) How is the concept of utilizing FL Studio as a creative process of musical art in the finger shidi art community. (2) What is the process of making percussion through the use of FL Studio as a creative process of musical art in the finger shidi art community. (3) What are the obstacles faced in using FL Studio as a creative process of musical art in the finger shidi art community. The results of the analysis show: (1) How is the concept of using FL Studio as a creative process of musical art in the finger art community, the use of Fl Studio is expected to help the Baleganjur percussion learning process become more effective considering the pandemic situation like this (2) How is the process of making percussion through the use of FL The studio as a creative process of musical art in the finger shidi art community consists of several processes, namely first the trainer will make an mp3 in the FL Studio application and after that it will be poured directly to the musicians. ABSTRAK FL Studio adalah aplikasi stasiun digital yang dipergunakan untuk merekam, mengubah dan membuat audio, FL Studio dikembangkan oleh perusahaan yang bernama Image-Line pada tahun 2014, penelitian ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan FL Studio sebagai media dalam proses kreativitas Seni Karawitan (Baleganjur) yang diharapkan dapat membantu proses kreativitas Seni Karawitan (Baleganjur) dimasa Pandemi menajdi lebih efektif dan efisien, Berdasarkan hal tersebut permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) Bagaimana konsep pemanfaatkan FL Studio sebagai proses kreativitas seni karawitan di komunitas seni jari shidi. (2) Bagaimana proses pembuatan tabuh melalui pemanfaatan FL Studio sebagai proses kreativitas seni karawitan di komunitas seni jari shidi (3) Apakah kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan FL Studio sebagai proses kreativitas seni karawitan di komunitas seni jari shidi. Hasil analisis menunjukan: (1) Bagaimana konsep pemanfaatan FL Studio sebagai proses kreativitas seni karawitan di komunitas seni jari shidi pemanfaatan FL Studio diharapkan dapat membantu proses pembelajaran tabuh baleganjur menjadi lebih efektif memingat situasi pandemi seperti ini (2) Bagaimana proses pembuatan tabuh melalui pemanfaatan FL Studio sebagai proses kreativitas seni karawitan di komunitas seni jari shidi terdiri dari beberapa proses yaitu pertama pelatih akan membuat mp3 di aplikasi FL Studio dan setelah itu akan di tuangkan kepada penabuh secara langsung
