Abstract

Abstract. Corona Virus Diseases 19 or COVID-19 is a global pandemic that has been established by WHO since March 11 2020. WHO data shows that globally, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of January 24, 2022, were 340,543,962 cases with a total of 5,570 deaths. 163. Vaccination is one of the steps taken by the government to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Vaccination is also believed to be able to reduce the severe symptoms that will be experienced by sufferers who have contracted COVID-19. As vaccination activities continue, health protocols must also be implemented. Vaccination basically does not determine someone will automatically be free from transmission of COVID-19. The purpose of this study was to describe knowledge, attitudes, and actions regarding the implementation of health protocols after COVID-19 vaccination for workers at the Kupang City sub-district office. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was 113. The sample size was 89 workers. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling. The results showed that 94.4% of respondents had good knowledge, 59.6% of respondents had good attitudes, and 41.6% of respondents had good actions. The application of health protocols must still be carried out even though vaccinations have been carried out, because vaccination will not always make someone free from COVID-19 but will help prevent it. Abstract

In the July 2021 period, Covid-19 cases in Indonesia jumped sharply. The Indonesian government responded to the spike in cases by implementing a physical distancing policy called PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat). One of the public's responses to the policy is reluctance or disobedience to existing policies because they experience psychological reactance. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the dynamics of community psychological reactance related to the physical distancing policy in Indonesia. The study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's thematic analysis. Sampling was done by using homogeneous variance purposive sampling technique. Collecting data used in this study is to conduct interviews. Research informants totaled 3 people. This study resulted that the three informants felt that their activities were limited during the implementation of the Physical distancing policy. The existence of the physical distancing policy also caused the three informants to feel threatened, both directly and indirectly in economic and academic terms, and their freedoms were disturbed. The form of reactance experienced by each informant was disappointment with the government. The responses of the three informants in an effort to restore their freedom include; not obeying the PPKM rules and breaking them by staying together with the crowd.

Abstract

Social anxiety is a global phenomenon that can be experienced by various groups, one of which is students with extroverted and introverted personality types. The purpose of this research is to determine the difference in the level of social anxiety between extroverted and introverted personality types among students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is a comparative quantitative study that uses proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample size of 139. The measurement tools used are the Eysenck Personality Inventory to measure personality types and the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale to measure social anxiety. Hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant difference in the level of social anxiety between extroverted and introverted personality types. Introverted personality types have a higher level of social anxiety compared to extroverted personality types. This significant difference is due to the differing characteristics of extroverted and introverted personality types in facing social situations, resulting in different tendencies towards social anxiety, whereas introverts tend to have higher social anxiety tendencies.

Abstract

Gratitude and resilience play significant roles among families categorized as pre-prosperous, who are unable to meet the minimum basic needs in terms of clothing, food, shelter, and healthcare. They are part of the recipients of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLTDD), aimed at assisting them in meeting their livelihood needs amidst the pandemic crisis. Being resilient individuals is crucial for these pre-prosperous families to remain resilient and maintain a quality life despite challenging circumstances. Initial interviews revealed that gratitude for the life they lead contributes to the respondents' ability to navigate their lives. This study aims to understand the role of gratitude in resilience among BLTDD beneficiaries. It is an inductive study utilizing quantitative methods involving 86 aid recipients. The gratitude measurement tool was constructed based on McCullough, Emmons, and Tsang's gratitude theory (2002), while the resilience measurement tool was based on Reivich and Shatte's resilience theory (2002). The validity of the measurement tools was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis with factor loading scores ≥ 0.5, and reliability was assessed using Cronbach's α coefficient, where the gratitude measure scored 0.934 and resilience 0.884. The research results indicate a P Value < 0.001 and an R2 value of 0.180. Thus, the conclusion drawn from this research is that there is a significant influence of the gratitude variable on resilience, accounting for 18.1%
