Abstract

Job stress is the interaction between the characteristics of workers and the conditions of the work environment that threaten individuals that cannot be matched by their abilities, causing negative impacts on physical, psychological, and behavior. Midwives are one of the health workers who serve patients during the Covid-19 pandemic. The increase in the number of patients in the obstetrics room, both positive for Covid -19 and not, makes midwives often feel anxious, tired, afraid, and even worried about being exposed to the Covid-19 virus, which is undoubtedly one of the factors that can cause work stress for midwives. The aim is to determine the description of work stress based on physiological, psychological, and behavioral symptoms in the midwifery room. The population was all midwives in the midwifery room, namely 43 people with a sample of 39. The results showed that the prevalence of work stress levels in midwives in the midwifery room was 26 people (66.7%) experiencing moderate work stress. Moreover, of respondents who experience work stress based on psychological symptoms, 82.1% are in the moderate category. Work stress based on Physiological symptoms as much as 100% is in the medium category, and work stress based on behavioral symptoms as much as 62.9% is in the high category. This research shows that applying individual strategies and stress management can reduce and prevent workplace stress.

Abstract

Abstract. The vaccination program is a policy initiative aimed at slowing the spread of the covid-19 virus by enhancing individual body immunity and forming group immunity. The government's efforts are not fully accepted by the public; there are doubts about the covid-19 vaccine, and doubts about the covid-19 vaccine are influenced by public perceptions; therefore, efforts to uncover the picture of perceptions that raise doubts about the covid-19 vaccine are required in order to develop targeted treatment. Methods The results of collecting data with twelve participants who had doubts about the COVID-19 vaccine revealed that understanding of the virus and the COVID-19 vaccine, emotional reactions to the vaccination process, vaccine side effects, and vaccine certificate policies are components that form doubts about the COVID-19 vaccine. The findings of this study also suggest that if an individual has strong confidence in social groups, limited comprehension of the covid-19 vaccine, fear of social reprimand, and fear of deviation, skepticism might cause vaccination delays and conforming behavior toward obtaining the covid-19 vaccine.

Abstract

Adolescents are a group of individuals aged between 10-19 years. Adolescence is considered a crucial period for individual development because, at this time, individuals experience biological, cognitive, and social transitions. Self-concept is a mental picture that a person has about himself, which includes physical and psychological images. This study aims to determine differences in self-concept between male youth who drop out of school and male adolescents attending school in Beiwali Village, Bajawa District, using a quantitative research approach with comparative techniques—testing the hypothesis in this study using the independent sample t-test. Respondents in this study amounted to 111 people consisting of 92 young men attending school and 19 male youth dropping out of school aged 15-20 people, with the sampling technique used namely probability sampling. The result of the hypothesis test is 0.011 (p <0.05), which means that there is a significant difference between the self-concept of male school dropouts and male youth attending school in Beiwali Village, Bajaw District.

Abstract

Perception is a sensing process where the stimulus is received by the individual through the senses and then interpreted so that the individual understands the stimulus he receives. A husband/wife pair is known as a man and a woman who are united in a legal marriage to form a happy and prosperous family both physically and mentally. Marriage of husband/wife couples in NTT cannot be separated from the customs known as "Belis". Belis or dowry is a gift from the groom to the woman in a large amount of value. Marriage by a husband/wife couple can be done using a belis or without a belis. Subjective well-being is when the individual assesses the quality of life as expected, so that pleasant and prosperous emotions arise. So this literature review discusses the perception of married couples using belis and without belis. Evidence shows that married couples using belis do not feel subjective well-being and husband/wife couples who marry without belis feel subjective well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of online disinhibition towards cyberbullying on second-account users on Instagram. The participants of this study were 150 second-account users on Instagram. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Online disinhibition is measured using a scale compiled by researchers based on the aspects proposed by Stuart & Scott (2020). Cyberbullying is measured using the cyberbullying scale, which is also compiled by researchers based on aspects proposed by Langos (2012). Data analysis was performed using simple regression techniques. Data analysis resulted in the value of R square = 0.520 F = 160.136 and p = 0.000 (p <0.005). Data analysis resulted in a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.005), which indicated that there was a role for online disinhibition in cyberbullying with an R square = 0.520, which means that it gave a role of 52%.

Abstract

Cases of skin cancer caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays continue to increase from year to year. So far, the prevention of skin cancer uses inorganic sunscreen lotion, only a few use ingredients from plants. In this research, a sunscreen lotion formula was made using the basic ingredients of the balakacida plant extract (Chromolaena odorata). The research was carried out in 4 stages namely; (1) preparation of balakacida leaf samples, (2) preparation of extracts, (3) preparation of lotion, (4) testing of the quality of sunscreen lotion including; sun protection factor (SPF), homogeneity, spreadability and pH values. Testing the SPF value using the ultra violet spectroscopy method and testing the pH using a pH meter. The results showed that the ethanol extract of balakacida leaves was 21.5% and the sunscreen lotion was a light green semi-solid substance. The results of the lotion quality test showed that the value of SPF, homogeneity, spreadability and pH values were respectively 26.95 at a concentration of 10%, homogen, 5.6 cm and 6.7. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that a sunscreen lotion made from balakacida leaves is very good to be developed as a sunscreen lotion to prevent skin cancer.
