Abstract

Benteng Kota village office is a village located in Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency. At the Benteng Kota village office the processing of population public services is still done manually. Therefore this website is made to facilitate the administration in handling public population services. The method used by the authors in this study is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This system uses the PHP programming language with MySQL database. In implementing this existing system, it must be uploaded on the webserver so that it can be accessed in cyberspace. Because the implementation of the system is only a trial, the authors use XAMPP for the webserver. The tools used are object oriented (UML) tools. Based on the above problems, one alternative to this problem is to create a computerized system that will certainly make it easier. With the application of the existing population general service information system, it can overcome the problems and improve the work process which is still slow so that it is now faster and the handling in verifying caused by the feasibility of the village apparatus is also better.

Abstract

Rumah Belajar Ceria (RBC) is a caring community in an effort to improve the quality of children's education and community empowerment, especially children and communities in disadvantaged areas and weak economies. RBC provides a program of activities for children and underprivileged communities at no charge. Previously, RBC had a website consisting of article, news and gallery pages. There was no admin page that processes the data of students and volunteers. So it is necessary to develop a RBC website that provides an admin page that can manage the website, and displays online registration to make it easier for people who want to register as volunteers (teachers) and students. RBC website development used Web Modelling Language (WebML) method. WebML is a high-level specification language that allows styles of both Entity Relationship or UML. The application of WebML is to design and implement data stored in a Database Management System (DBMS).

Abstract

The study program is part of an organization in higher education that has activities to manage information related to all activities that occur within the scope of the organization. This information comes from various activities carried out by lecturers and students. The delivery of information related to activities that occur in the study program is not effective because it is still managed individually by the head of the study program. The study program website was created to support each contributor in managing and sharing information. Tools used to simplify the website development process was Joomla CMS because it had good features in content management. The method used was Rapid Application Development (RAD) as its development method. The results of using Joomla CMS-based website were very helpful for the head of the study program to view, monitor and evaluate activities that occur in his study program. Website development using Joomla CMS by applying the RAD method was also very effective in terms of time because the website creation process only took approximately 30 days.

Abstract

Bukan hal yang tabu saat ini setiap layanan mahasiswa dapat dilayani melalui web, hanya saja layanan yang berbasis web tersebut tidak sedikit pula yang merasa kesusahan dalam menggunakannya. Hal ini menjadi penting agar pengguna layanan ini merasa nyaman menggunakan dan tidak merasa kesulitan dalam penggunaannya. Untuk itu web ini perlu diukur agar bisa menjadi masukan untuk diperbaiki. Adapun untuk pengukurannya menggunakan metode pengujian usabilitas. Ada lima komponen yang bisa mengukurnya yakni dapat dipelajari (learnability), efisien (efficiency), mudah diingat (memorability), aman untuk digunakan atau mengurangi tingkat kesalahan (errors) dan memiliki tingkat kepuasan (satisfaction) [1]. Dari hasil pengukuran didapat nilai untuk kategori learnability 44% untuk ditemukan, kategori efficiency mendapatkan nilai 22% untuk ditemukan, kategori memorability mendapatkan nilai 75%, kategori error mendapatkan nilai sebesar 83% untuk ditemukan, sedangkan kategori satisfaction mendapatkan nilai sebesar 53% untuk ditemukan. Secara keseluruhan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 55,67% untuk ditemukan. Kata Kunci — Mengukur, Usability Testing, Website

Abstract

Proses pendidikan saat ini sudah baik dalam implementasi kegiatan belajar dan mengajar akan tetapi masih perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya untuk kemajuan dunia pendidikan. Pada SMA Nurul Iman Palembang yang sampai saat ini masih menerapkan metode dan cara mengajar yang konvensional terdapat kondisi statis dimana anak didiknya kurang dapat diajak untuk mengikuti suatu pelajaran dengan berkonsentrasi penuh karena pada dasarnya siswa memang mudah teralih perhatiannya oleh berbagai hal. siswa juga seringkali merasa jenuh dalam belajar karena biasanya ia telah bosan. Dengan menggunakan Media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia anak didik dan tenaga pendidik kualitas belajar dan mengajar pada SMA Nurul Iman dapat menjadi lebih baik dan interaktif oleh karena itu disini membahas bagaimana mengembangan hingga menjalankan sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem di penelitian ini adalah Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam proses kegiatan mengajar dan kegiatan belajar peserta didik akan lebih menyenangkan bebasis multimedia.

Abstract

Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) merupakan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Terdapat tujuh konstruk yang digunakan dan merupakan gabungan dari konstruk-konstruk asli yang terdapat dalam TAM dan TPB. Ketujuh konstruk tersebut adalah kemudahan pengguna persepsian (PEOU), kegunaan persepsian (PU), norma subyektif (SN), kontrol perilaku persepsian (PBC), sikap (AT), minat perilaku menggunakan teknologi (BIUS) dan Sikap (BV). Model gabungan ini selanjutnya digunakan untuk meneliti sistem ujian online berbayar dengan studi kasus qualitiva.id. Penelitian ini selanjutnya akan menjelaskan tentang penerimaan sistem ujian online berbayar pada pelajar, mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan PLS. Data diperoleh dari responden yang merupakan siswa LKP PalComTech Palembang dengan menyebarkan kuesioner tertutup. Terdapat 142 sampel penelitian yang dianalisis menggunakan metode PLS dengan software smartPLS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Konstruk PEOU mempengaruhi konstruk AT; (2) Konstruk PU mempengaruhi konstruk AT; (3) Konstruk AT pengaruh terhadap konstruk BIUS; (4) Konstruk SN tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap konstruk BIUS; (5) Konstruk PBC mempengaruhi konstruk BIUS; dan (6) Konstruk BIUS tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap konstruk BV;. Selain itu koefisien variabel laten PU terhadap AT memiliki nilai paling besar diantara nilai koefisien variabel laten pada model hubungan antar konstruk lainnya. Abstract

Jasa Raharja (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise that specializes in managing road accident insurance. PT. Jasa Raharja always serves the community very well in terms of social insurance for public transport and road users. Human Resources is a major concern for company management in terms of achieving goals and the totality of individual work and company performance. Human resource data management need to be done properly and systematically so that every personnel administration activity becomes more effective and efficient. In this research the staffing information system that was built could process employee data, salaries, ranks, transfers, paid leave and training. This study uses the prototype method as a system development method with DFD and ERD modeling. The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype of a web-based staffing information system at PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero).

Abstract

A software cannot be perfect and always requires development. Software development consists of several stages, one of which is the testing stage. This stage aims to find fault with the software when doing software development. Stages of testing itself is divided into several techniques, one of which is black box testing. Black box testing is testing that only tests the outside of the software, for example, such as interface design. This is one of the reasons this test is appropriate to be used to test the software output. This paper is structured to look for the strengths and weaknesses of black box testing, content similarities, and differences in content by observing existing literature by the method of grouping these three things. Judging from some of the literature included in the observation, black box testing has many advantages and some drawbacks, some of the same contents, and several different contents.

Abstract

In teaching and learning activities, the provision of learning facilities is an important factor in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process between students and educators. The use of technology in the form of computers is an important means of improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. STMIK PalComTech is one of the private universities in the city of Palembang under the auspices of Kopertis Region II, which is located at Jalan Basuki Rahmat No. 05. STMIK PalComTech itself is a university in the field of computers and has a number of computer laboratories that are used to support teaching and learning activities. STMIK PalComTech has 3 computer labs, currently the STMIK PalComTech computer laboratory uses the concept of a stand-alone computer (Stand Alone) with each computer connected to a computer network that is joined to a public hotspot. This computer laboratory is used in addition to teaching and learning activities, it is also used for research activities, student activities and so on by students, educators, and even employees of STMIK PalComTech. In the process of using a computer laboratory, there are several problems, such as the slow and long process of starting an operating system, cumbersome and time consuming software maintenance and installation, and poor connection to the internet. In the process of solving these constraints, a technology that can overcome these problems is needed, and is also supported by an adequate computer network infrastructure. In this research, there will be a change in the concept of computers in the laboratory from being originally a stand-alone computer to a diskless-based computer (without independent storage media) or in other words, data storage is done centrally, namely on the server. The implementation of this research aims to increase the comfort in using computer laboratories to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process carried out at STMIK PalComTech.

Abstract

Promotion is an activity carried out by business owners in an effort to introduce and offer products and services offered to prospective buyers. Promotion can be carried out traditionally and digitally. Providing information and disseminating information on the promotion of a product or service is a necessity in an effort to expand the prey of the business market. The purpose of designing and building an Android-based Shirouoshien promotion application system is as one of the information media solutions that can be easily found in digital searches. The research method used by the waterfall method starts from data collection, system design, code generation, testing, and implementation. The conclusion of making this application is an android application can provide convenience in finding information digitally and one of the media that facilitates efforts to promote products and services offered by Shirouoshien.
