Abstract

Based on the phenomenon of the endorsement of PP Number 56 of 2021, formulated research questions, namely how the songwriter responds after the rule is passed, and what impact the rule has on the existence of the songwriter. This research aims to find out the response and impact of PP No.56 of 2021 for songwriters, as well as help the government in the socialization of the rules. The research method used is qualitative with data reduction procedures, data classification, data presentation, conclusion withdrawal and verification of data from data collection results through interviews, participant observations and documentation. The results showed that the positive response of songwriters after PP Number 56 of 2021 was passed through self-registration and work in LMK creator rights, as well as registering works online at DJKI Kemenkumham. But there are also songwriters who have not responded to registering works institutionally because of concerns that creation will be consumed on a limited basis so as to provide publication losses for creators. Furthermore, the impact of these rules on the existence of songwriters is to make creators more productive to produce works periodically, the creation of works becomes more quality and quality in the world of the music industry, and the right to publish songwriters exist in the community and exist on the side that utilizes national and international works.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is a district located on the eastern tip of Java Island which has a unique cultural diversity. This is reflected in the diverse arts. One of the arts in Banyuwangi is macapat which is called Mocoan. The most popular Mocoan performed by the Osing tribal community is the Mocoan Lontar Yusup where the literary work read tells the story of the prophet Yusuf. This art material, which is the focus of research, is studied and analyzed and its relevance is sought for the culture of the people who hold this culture.This study uses a qualitative approach and the data are presented descriptively. Using logical analogies, analyzed based on interactive techniques and based on arguments. Based on the data obtained, it was found that there is a special approach to the expression of the Banyuwangi macapat art, namely in text and song melodies. The special approach is that there are special terminology, meter rules and mining rules. The three data are relevant to the culture of the foreign community, namely exclusive, open, and bound.

Abstract

The digital era demands changes in the form of performing arts. The form of performances that are usually carried out live on an open stage must be able to switch to the packaging of a video that is displayed through digital platforms such as You Tube. This study aims to describe musical performances with the theme Melodie del Mondo Fantastico as an effort to digitize the performing arts. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show that digitalization of musical performances needs to be done so that artists and performers can still work and display them digitally via the internet. Some of the efforts made by students in the music education study program include arranging the theme of Melodie del Mondo Fantastico as an expression that describes the current situation, then determining the ten musical groups that will perform, determining the editor of each music group to process the audio and video, asking each player to record his music playing, combine the video of the players. Next, the main editor combines videos from ten music groups into one video which is uploaded to You Tube. The series of activities carried out is a creative process as an effort to change the performing arts from conventional to digital.

Abstract

The song of jereh bu guru is one of the folk songs in the city of Serang, Banten province, using the lyriks in the Javanese of Serang (Jaseng) regional language. The lyrics of the song have differences in language and pronunciation with other song lyrics, so it is interesting to study in depth. The purpose of this study is to dissect and interpret the values ​​of the characters contained in the lyrics of the song jereh bu guru. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the character values ​​in the lyrics of the song jereh bu guru consist of religious values, discipline. Curiosity, social care, and responsibility.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to formulate the interpretation of dynamics and timbre in Suite Populaire Brésilienne No.1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos. Based on the results of the pre-study, this work is one of the classical guitar’s works that has many repetitions, so that efforts to avoid the impression of monotony need to be done. The purpose of this study is to identify the structure and musical form, determine the relationship between musical structures, and interpret them through dynamics and timbre. This study uses a qualitative research type with a musicological approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that Mazurka-Choro is a suite with the ABACA rondo form in which each period has a repetition. The interpretation of dynamics and timbre is generally formulated through the tonality of each period by taking into account the tempo and rhythmic patterns. Furthermore, that a general description of the dynamics and timbre through consideration of tonality, tempo, and rhythm must be complemented by an understanding of the structure of motifs and harmony. The dynamics of the melodic structure are not only interpreted according to the direction of the melodic line, but can also be interpreted the other way around based on harmony or consideration of conceptual relations between structures or concepts that are determined in order to provide a differentiator for repetition of sentences.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the form of the song “Madiun Kampung Pesilat Indonesia” created by Hari Subagiyo, S.I.Kom which was played by “Rasa Madu” studio under the guidance of the Education and Culture Office of Madiun Regency. This research uses a qualitative research method because the presentation of the data is descriptive by focusing on the translation of the form of the song using theory proposed by Karl-Edmund Prier SJ, namely the Science of Musical Forms. The data analyzed is the song “Madiun Kampung Pesilat Indonesia” with a duration of 9 minutes 57 seconds which the researcher translates into the application sibelius into a score by using a western music notation writing apporoach (beam notation). The action of data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the song “Madiun Kampung Pesilat Indonesia” was played in a A Major scales and had a  three-part song from with a number of bars, namely 301 bars. Part A has sentences (a, b, b’ and c) on bars 1 to137. Part B has sentences (d, e, e’, f and g) on bars 138 to 237. Part C has sentences (h and a’) on bars 238 to 301. Hari Subagiyo, S.I.Kom created this song using an ansamble music format that mixes modern and traditional music.

Abstract

Orkes Keroncong Mutiara Ross is one Keroncong orchestras in Surabaya that involves members across generations, besides that researchers chose object of this study because they saw that inheritance of keroncong is one of important aspects in cultural inheritance and preservation of keroncong music. using a qualitative descriptive approach that focuses on data not numbers, there are 5 characteristics of qualitative research, namely: (1) naturalistic, (2) descriptive data, (3) process (4) inductive (5) meaning. Implications of concept of qualitative methods in this study are; (1) naturalistic, as a direct source of data, in this case researcher goes directly to the data source, (2) descriptive data, that has been collected by researchers in form of interview transcripts, field notes, photography, videotape, personal documents, memos, and recordings official, (3) process, concentration of activities carried out and become the result or product, (4) meaning. increase awareness related to their lives. the focus of this research are; (1) history; OK Mutiara Ross which was founded in 2006 by Mr. Suparman and prioritizes the spirit of all ages. (2) musical form; The form of music used by OK Mutiara Ross is to make keroncong music arrangements with various types of styles. (3) inheritance; OK Mutiara Ross's regeneration occurred because of a familial relationship.

Abstract

Tari Rentak Bulian menjadi salah satu kesenian yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Tari ini diajarkan di sanggar-sanggar di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, dan juga di kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Sekolah. Di Sanggar Kamboja SMPN 1 Rengat, tari Rentak Bulian diajarkan kepada siswa/i dan juga mempelajari musik iringannya. Dalam artikel ini, pembahasan lebih difokuskan kepada musik tari Rentak Bulian. Pembahasan yang dipaparkan adalah mengenai salah satu unsur pembentuk musik, yaitu melodi. Pengajaran seni Tari Rentak Bulian dan musik tarinya, merupakan salah satu bentuk pelestarian yang dilakukan seniman untuk diwariskan kepada generasi muda-mudi yang berkompetensi dalam dunia seni.Kata kunci: Rentak Bulian, Musik Iringan, Melodi.

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia mempunyai karakter berbeda-beda yang unggul diberbagai bidang, salah satu yang memberikan icon tersebut adalah lagu mars dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Lagu mars mempunyai ringkasan makna yang mencerminkan suatu lembaga, baik internal maupun eksternal. Tidak hanya pada Perguruan Tinggi saja, lembaga-lembaga lainnya, seperti Sekolah negeri maupun swasta, Korpi, Koperasi, Dharma Wanita, dan juga Golongan/Partai sampai perusahasan maupun yang lain juga mempunyai lagu mars. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa mars sangat memberikan konstribusi terhadap suatu lembaga maju yang memiliki kualitas dan dorongan peningkatan ke masa depan. Penelitian ini memberikan alternative dalam menganalisis sebuah lagu mars. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Ilmu Bentuk Analisis Musik. artikel ini memaparkan hasil analisis bentuk lagu dan ambitus nada pada orkestrasi Mars Unesa.Kata kunci: Orkestrasi, Bentuk Lagu, Lagu Mars

Abstract

Kebudayaan tersebut merupakan hasil kebiasaan masyarakat, dalam hal ini berupa pemikiran-pemikiran, karya seni sampai pada bentuk bahasa. Kemudian bentuk dari kebudaan itu bertahan sampai sekarang, melalui proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, tradisi selain di temukan juga diciptakan. Dengan demikian bentuk kebudayaan (dalam hal ini seni pertunjukan tradisional) dapat dipahami sebagai kegiatan seni pertunjukan yang memuat nilai dan makna pemikiran, kebiasaan, kepercayaan, norma, adat istiadat untuk diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. Khususnya seni pertunjukan Didong, sebagai hasil dari kebudayaan Gayo, Didong berperan besar dalam mempersatukan etnis Gayo yang memiliki berbagai macam pendapat mengenai nilai-nilai moral dan estetika tentang budaya yang ada. Tentu saja sebagai media pembelajaran, khususnya dalam ranah pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan nilai, Didong merupakan kesenian yang tepat. Dengan konsep yang dikemukakan oleh Douglas P. Superka. Hampir semua kesenian daerah memiliki esensi yang tinggi, yang dapat digunakan sebagai media seni dalam pendidikan karakter. Itu semua bergantung pada apa, siapa, dan bagaiman hal tersebut diterapkan. Dalam persepektif multikulturalisme, Didong merupakan sebuah sarana untuk menyatukan seluruh etnis yang ada di daerah Gayo, bukan sebaliknya. Didong tidak diklaim sebagai kepemilikan setiap daerah melainkan kepemilikan bersama. Harus dapat meyatukan pemahaman estetika tentang apa yang ada dalam pertunjukan Didong secara keseluruhan, sehingga tidak terjadi kesalah pahaman yang dapat merusak nilai seni dari Didong itu sendiri.Kata kunci: kesenian, pendidikan karakter, nilai, multikultural, Didong.
