Abstract

Action-fantasy are some movie genres that has the most expansive franchises in film industry and tend to use cinematic music to correlate the atmosphere and emotions of the movie’s imaginary universe. The analysis of You See Big Girlis due to its majestic cinematic music arrangement, its suitability in accompanying the battle scene, and also can be enjoyed as an independent track despite of its role in accompanying the scene. This qualitative descriptive research aims to analyze the musical composition technique by describing the epic musical element. This research contains of literature study, discography, and observation as the research methods, along with the approach of Lehman and Derrick Werlé’sexamine on epic music to analyze the epic element. The result shows that the You See Big Girl is one of the various epic music with the use of battle and war instrument, as well as tension built gradually from a section to the following by the use of polyrhythm, marcato accent, big crescendo, sequence, sudden silence to ends the musical phrase, ostinato, and abstract theme, to portray a majestic, vibrant, war and battle scene, and the greatness through the music. Keywords: analysis, composition, animation, epic soundtrack, You See Big Girl

Abstract

Konserto trompet haydn ini merupakan konserto trompet pertama yang diciptakan oleh haydn. Konserto ini diciptakan untuk trompet berkunci dalam Es dan ditujukan untuk temannya pemain trompet yang bernama Anton weidinger, pemain trompet di istana Wina. Trompet berkunci adalah trompet yang dapat mengeluarkan nada- nada kromatis, trompet berkunci diciptakan oleh Reidl, dan merupakan instrumen musik yang menjadi pelopor pada tipenya dikarenakan sebelumnya tidak menggunakan kunci. penulis tertarik meneliti tentang teknik variasi melodi ini dikarenakan keistimewaan konserto yang diciptakan oleh haydn ini untuk temanya dan lebih menonjolkan nada nada kromatik. Namun sebelum meneliti tentang variasi melodi, peneliti menguraikan struktur lagu untuk mempermudah dalam menjabarkan mengenai variasi melodi.

Abstract

Simphoni Keroncong Moeda (SKM) #9 menjadi ruang aktualisasi komunitas Keroncong Muda Yogyakarta dalam menyuarakan musik keroncong agar diminati oleh generasi muda. Mengusung konten perpaduan musical, SKM hadir dikala sepinya apresiasi anak muda terhadap musik keroncong. Berbekal pengetahuan musik klasik Barat dari para arranger dan musisinya sebagai modal kreatif, identitas musikal dari musik keroncong dan musik lainnya seperti campursari, dangdut, dan pop dikemas secara apik dalam balutan musik orkestra. Kecenderungan ini mengikuti apa yang ditawarkan logika budaya populer yang diusung oleh John Fiske sebagai ‘seni berada di antara’. ‘Seni berada di antara’ menjadi ruang permainan identitas musikal dari SKM dalam menimbang aspek-aspek musikal dari musik keroncong dan musik lainnya yang diolah menggunakan kreatifitas populer secara struktur dan bentuk musiknya. Bagi SKM ruang antara menjadi medan untuk menimbang sejauh apa aspek musikal dalam musik dulu menjadi suguhan estetis mengikuti kecenderungan perkembangan musik saat ini tanpa kehilangan subtansi nilai edukasi dari musik keroncong.

Abstract

Rosette guitar quartet is a guitar quartet group consisting of four guitar players and on originally the Rosette guitar quartet was performing classical guitar songs arranged in four guitars. Method in this research using an qualitative approach. Qualitative research tries to answer question rather than testing the hypothesis. This research uses creative process theory and innovations theory which consist of 4 types, namely (1) Discovery (2) Extension (3) Duplication (4) Synthesis. The Result of innovation made by Rosette guitar quartet are (1) Invention made by Rosette Guitar is creating a new process in the guitar quartet group perfoming songs in postmodern era and uploaded on social media, such as “Youtube”, (2) Development of the Rosette guitar expresses his works in social media, where to adjust the new habits to music enthusiast that can appreciate perfoming of Rosette by virtual. (3) Rosette Guitar duplicate the most successful musicians used to express and maximize each his work in “Youtube” which gets a lot of appreciation (viewers) according to the new normal era. (4) The Rosette guitar perfoms synthesis with create new works every month and uploaded on “Youtube”. Collaborative creative process of this synthesis considered by Rosette guitar quartet as great opportunity to music works, expression as well as new innovations in industry creative in the new normal era.Keywords: Innovation, Creative Process, New Normal.

Abstract

Berdasar kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran musik di SD Marsudirini Semarang Indonesia, terdiri dari pembelajaran musik instrumental dan vokal. Dalam hasil penelitian terhadap pembelajaran, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran musik instrumental di sekolah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan solfegio siswa sehingga dapat mendukung pembelajaran vokal maupun musik instrumental itu sendiri.Kata kunci: pendidikan, musik, instrumental, objektifikasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang ketokohan Musafir Isfanhari yang memiliki dedikasi tinggi, baik sebagai pendidik maupun sebagai praktisi (khususnya sebagai arranger) dalam dunia seni musik di Jawa Timur. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu mengenai kekaryaan aransemen Isfanhari.Untuk membahas dan menganalisis karya aransemen Isfanhari dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teori aransemen musik (untuk menganalisis karya aransemen paduan suara yang digarap Isfanhari). Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan musikologi. Pendekatan ini berguna untuk membedah karya aransemen Musafir Isfanhari, tidak hanya dipandang dari sisi aturan baku harmoni dan aransemen, tetapi juga dari sisi estetika pribadi Isfanhari sebagai seorang musisi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Isfanhari berprofesi sebagai penggubah musik paduan suara. Karya-karya aransemen yang dihasilkan tidak hanya digunakan pada tingkat sekolah saja, tetapi juga digunakan sebagai materi lagu Paduan Suara Gita Bahana Nusantara untuk upacara kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia di istana negara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Musafir Isfanhari mampu menjadi seorang tokoh musik yang memiliki pengaruh positif di Jawa Timur. Tidak hanya karya aransemennya, tetapi juga buah-buah pikirannya dapat membawa perkembangan yang signifikan bagi Seni Musik di Jawa Timur.Kata-kata Kunci: Musafir Isfanhari, arranger, paduan suara.

Abstract

Abstract: Creativity is a talent possessed by every individual and can be honed or nurtured through the right educational institutions. In a creativity formation, children need help to build their creativity. Supporting factors and the formation of creativity in children, namely with the full support of the people or the environment around them. The Lalare Orchestra Academy is an educational institution that teaches children to be more creative in playing musical instruments. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection using observation and interview techniques, while the analysis technique uses the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research objective was to describe the background of the Lalare Academy Institute for orchestra and the process of developing musical creativity in children. The results showed that the background for the establishment of the Lalare Orchestra Academy was driven by the interest of the chairman of the Blambangan Arts Council, namely Syamsudin and Kadafi Kadiso as art enthusiasts to provide space and opportunities for academic music education to children. In its performances, the Lalare Orchestra Academy always presents Banyuwangi traditional music games with a number of musical instruments that are not only one device, but use many traditional musical instruments so that they are called orchestra music games. In its development, the Lalare Orchestra Academy is in great demand by children because children are given the opportunity to develop game techniques, thus motivating children to be creative. The process of developing creativity is carried out by teaching Banyuwangi traditional music playing techniques, improvisation, and its application when playing music in an orchestra. Thus children will be able to improvise existing songs and be able to play music well.Keywords: Lalare Orchestra Academy, Creativity

Lagu Mars Jawa Timur hasil dari proses karya musik berupa lagu yang menjadi identitas bagi masyarakat Jawa Timur yang mulai diperkenalkan pada tahun 2018 pada saat peringatan HUT Provinsi Jawa Timur yang ke-73. Mars ini diperkenalkan dengan sebuah semangat nasionalis dengan harapan semakin mempererat kesatuan setiap masyarakat. Dalam artikel ini akan dibahas bentuk lagu dan aransemen pada susunan paduan empat suara yang telah diteliti dengan menggunakan metode analisis bentuk musik yang dapat memberikan sebuah alternatif dalam memberikan penjelasan terhadap lagu berbentuk mars.             Kata kunci: Mars Jawa Timur, Bentuk Lagu, Aransemen

Abstract

The ongoing pandemic conditions until now, causing the learning process to be done online. Online learning seems boring because the online learning methods and media that are applied are less creative and varied. Teachers' incompetence in using technology is one of the causes of boring learning, so schools and teachers are trying to find the right method or media to make learning more interesting. The purpose of this study is to describe the TikTok application as music learning media from SMAN 1 Muara Enim, South of Sumatra. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative research method. This research was conducted in Perumahan Bumi Eraska Blok E7 no 12. The researcher got the data from observation of the learning outcomes of students and teacher of SMAN 1 Muara Enim South Sumatra, through Youtube and the TikTok application. The time of this research was conducted from March to June. Data collected were the result of interviews, literature, observation, and documentation. The result of this research indicates that the TikTok application can be used as a music learning medium. In utilizing the TikTok application there  must be appropriate steps and methods to achieve learning objectives. there are positive effects in the use of the TikTok application at SMAN 1 Muara Enim, namely can make students get more confidence in the music subject, familiarizing students with the use of technology 4.0 especially in the music subject, increasing student interaction during distance learning, making it easier for teachers and students with its features to make music learning videos, make students more interactive, and as a promotional tool for the school.

Abstract

Humanizing and civilizing society is one manifestation of education as a cultural process. The educational process allows for the exchange of information between subjective, intersubjective, and intrasubjective and inherits the nature of values, knowledge, and beliefs that function as a guide to meet human needs in the context of local entities. This article is a conceptual research that discusses the educational process that can occur through several concepts, namely internalization, socialization, and enculturation. In the process, education can be done in formal, informal, or non-formal ways. This article aims to reveal the importance of the values ​​contained in local entities and preserve them as a form of cultural manifestation based on knowledge, values, beliefs that can benefit the community. In a more specific context, this article brings up the discourse of art education as a civilizing process that utilizes art as a medium that has a strategic role in preserving and strengthening the local entity of a culture.
