It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. Swadaya: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment contains various activities of academician in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society.

Abstract

Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa L) is a herbaceous plant that can thrive in various types of soil, climate, and low water areas. Roselle flower is useful as medicine and food preparation. Palimanan Barat Village is a village that has a potential land area of ??105 ha which is not used. Since 2012 rosella plant has become one of the plants cultivated by the community of Palimanan Barat Village, assisted by CSR from PT Indocement. But the amount of rosella harvest was considered unsatisfactory. In 2019 Indocement's Center for Research, Training and Community Empowerment (P4M) conducted a study to improve the growth and productivity of rosella gardens using different dosage NPK fertilizer treatment methods. The several stages to plant rosella include land management, nursery, basic fertilization, planting, fertilizing, maintaining, observing and harvesting. In the experiments, different treatments were carried out on the NPK amount. There are four trials of NPK administration on rosella plants, namely roselle plants given NPK with the amount of 0 grams, 20 grams, 40 grams, and 60 grams. Through these experiments obtained good quality rosella in the treatment of 40 grams fertilizer. Keywords: NPK Fertilization Treatment, growth and productivity

Abstract

In digital era, the use of digital marketing is so important. Utilization of digital marketing can reach consumers in a wider area so that the level of sales can be increased. But unfortunately, not all Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs understand the importance of digital marketing so that the level of sales has not been absorbed optimally. Though the potential of MSMEs is quite high. Therefore, this PKM program is carried out as a form of assistance in utilizing digital marketing for MSMEs which in the context of this service is carried out at the children's toy center of Sampangan Village, Jurangombo, Magelang. The methods used in this service are lectures, discussions and simulations. Participants get material on the basic concepts of digital marketing and photography techniques. The results obtained indicate that participants understood the basic concepts of digital marketing and photography techniques. Not only that, participants also mastered photography techniques in a simple stage. Keywords: Digital marketing, photography, social media, UMKM.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out at the Harmony Forum Religious Community (FKUB) Magelang Regency which is carried out in the form of giving counseling and outreach to FKUB members who were seen as opinions leaders in their religious groups, stakeholders in government, academia and security forces. The target in this community service activity is counseling and socialization to FKUB members by providing anti-hoax learning with the material to Know and Prevent Hoax in the Digital Era in the Context of Election Simultaneously 2019. The output for extension and outreach participants is to be able to understand threats new issue brought about by the use of social media in religious issues, deep understanding using social media wisely, distinguishing hoaxes, can prevent acts of intolerance in religion and FKUB's declaration with stakeholders in the field the government, academics, and security forces of Magelang Regency to guard conductivity in the framework of 2019 Concurrent Elections. The material provided in the training of community service activities is a focus group discussion (FGD) to formulate a memorandum of understanding "Creating the conducivity of the people of Magelang Regency before the 2019 simultaneous elections ” then proceed with socialization and counseling and end with the signing of the declaration by the various stakeholders present. Abstract

Legal awareness is self-awareness without pressure, coercion, or orders from outside to submit to applicable law. With the running of legal awareness in the community, the law does not need to impose sanctions. Sanctions are only imposed on citizens who have proven to be violating the law. One of the legal problems today is the low awareness of the legal community, resulting in many violations of the law. The methods used in community service activities are lectures, discussions, questions and answers and simulations, so that the activities can run without boundaries and boundaries between the community service team and the community. Likewise in the implementation of community service, the service team applies the lecture, discussion, question and answer and simulation methods and uses a contextual approach in providing counseling and briefing to the community about the impact it has on the mindset of society related to traffic order. Initially, legal awareness mostly revolves around the mindset that assumes that awareness in the community is a deciding factor as a law. With the socialization carried out by the community service team, citizens became more sensitive and concerned about the importance of orderly traffic so that eventually Good Citizenship was formed.

Abstract

The main problem for new cake entrepreneurs is the traditional way of managing the industry. Because most business people start from small capital, with modest resources, traditional product manufacturing, product packaging is very simple using plastic mica. So the problems faced by new business people will have difficulty competing to win the hearts of consumers. Therefore this assistance was carried out in a number of steps including counseling on production and K3 management, file preparation and registration, counseling from the DHO, visitation and improvement, issuance of P-IRT certificates and attractive and healthy product packaging design. After going through a long stage, in the end the partner succeeded in obtaining 2 P-IRT certificates with the MOH RI number P-IRT number 8063507023008-24 for Apple Pie cakes and number 8063507013008-24 for the Fill Apple Pie cakes Keywords: service, P-IRT, packaging, pia cake.

Abstract

Children are an investment of the nation and the state in the future, so the prevention of malnutrition programs is very relevant to prepare a superior generation. Providing proper nutrition and nutrition data management for toddlers is an effort to protect toddlers from malnutrition. This partnership aims to help partners (1) increase knowledge related to consumer protection for toddler food products, (2) increase knowledge about the prototype of Website-Based Nutrition Applications; (3) increase understanding of healthy eating standards for toddlers; (4) understand and have skills in making nutritious home made food, (5) training in the use of nutrition applications for toddlers can be used by the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Center Dream. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Training. The results of the partnership show that after the partnership program has been carried out (1) Participants have increased knowledge and are able to analyze key issues related to consumer protection for toddler food products; (2) participants have increased knowledge through Website Based Nutrition Applications and are able to analyze the weaknesses of the application to be improved; (3) Participants better understand the standard of healthy eating for proper consumption for toddlers and provide some analysis to become a sustainable agenda; (4) Participants better understand and have the skills in making nutritious home made foods that are balanced and schedule a national campaign; (5) Nutrition applications can be used by the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Center for monitoring toddlers nutrition for their members. Abstract

Technological progress is a necessity that must be faced by all parties, including the emergence of positive and negative impacts that exist. Furthermore, this inability to cope with change and progress will bring about the consequences of negative impacts, including those related to media development. And this must be overcome, through various efforts, one of which is the media literacy movement. Using qualitative research methods that are done by working with data, organizing data, sorting it out, searching and finding patterns, finding what is important to report, this article tries to uncover how the implementation of Local Potential-based Community Empowerment in the "Pioneering Media Literacy Village" Program in Warungasem Village Warungasem District Batang Regency ". The results of this study are that media literacy-based community empowerment programs are carried out by synergizing four activity clusters, namely Journalistic and Web Clusters, Photography and Videography Clusters, E-Commerce Clusters and Design and Environment Clusters. The four clusters are synergized to realize Warungasem as Media Literacy Village. Keywords: media literacy village, community empowerment, local potential-based.

Abstract

Penggunaan Pupuk Organik Hayati (POH) merupakan salah satu cara aplikasi budidaya pertanian ramah lingkungan. Selain dapat mengurangi limbah pertanian dan peternakan, POH mampu meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan produksi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh aplikasi POH berbahan media bekas jamur/ kasmur, kotoran ternak sapi (kohe) dan sampah organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman kangkung. Rancangan percobaan yang diterapkan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok, menggunakan 6 taraf perlakuan dengan tiga ulangan, yaitu A= Kasmur + Kohe + Pupuk Organik UPS BUMDes (100 kg +100 kg + 100 kg), B = Kasmur + Kohe + Pupuk Organik UPS BUMDes (75 kg +100 kg + 75 kg), Kasmur + Kohe (150 kg +150 kg), Kohe + Pupuk Organik UPS BUMDes (150 kg +150 kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Ke-empat POH yang diuji sesuai dengan baku mutu POH dari Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Nomor 70/Permentan/SR.140/10/2011 dan SNI 19-7030-2004. POH dengan komposisi Kasmur+Kohe (150kg+150 kg) memiliki karakteristik pupuk terbaik yang ditandai dengan C/N rasio yang tinggi, kandungan unsur P dan N yang tertinggi. Perlakuan pemupukan terbaik yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung yang bagus (ditandai dengan tinggi tanaman, pertumbuhan akar, jumlah tunas, diameter batang dan bobot segar tanaman) adalah perlakukan Kasmur + Kohe (150 kg +150 kg), atau Pupuk Organik UPS BUMDes + Kohe (150 kg +150 kg). Secara keseluruhan aplikasi POH yang diperkaya dengan Trichoderma menunjukkan pertumbuhan kangkung yang lebih baik dibandingkan perlakukan pemupukan NPK dan kontrol tanpa pemupukan. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi, komunikasi, dan informasi mendorong berlangsungnya globalisasi dunia dengan cepat dan dinamis. Globalisasi tersebut membawa perubahan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan seperti bidang sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya. Khususnya fenomena ekonomi yang mempunyai implikasi luar biasa terhadap perubahan tatanan kerja sama dan persaingan bisnis serta peranan pemerintah diberbagai penjuru dunia. Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan, pengalaman dan pemahaman, serta memberi gambaran dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya. Selama 4 minggu kegiatan penulis berkesempatan untuk melakukan pekerjaan dan pengamatan serta beberapa aktifitas di LPP Radio Republik Indonesia Cirebon. Kegiatan ini adalah suatu bentuk pendidikan dengan cara memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada Mahasiswa untuk beradaptasi dengan tugas langsung di instansi Pemerintah di tempat dan sekaligus mengabdikan ilmu-ilmu yang telah diperoleh. Praktik kerja lapangan merupakan wujud relevansi antara teori yang didapat selama perkuliahan dengan praktik yang ditemui baik dalam dunia usaha swasta maupun Pemerintah. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan kita dituntut untuk bersaing dalam dunia kerja dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kualitas ilmu pengetahuan yang baik, kompenen kepribadian baik serta keterampilan yang dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan negara dalam bidang pekerjaan yang digelutinya.
