Abstract

The research conducted in Palu City is "Expectation of the Communitysending their children to The State Islamic School" using Mixed methods(Quantitative and Qualitative), by taking Participat Selection Model, thenumber of samples using tables Isaac and Michael with a 90% confidencelevel, the total student population MAN 1 and MAN 2 Kota Palu is 1,504students, for that sample taken by 230 parents of students or guardians ofstudents. The results of this study conclude in general expectations orexpectations of sending their children to school in the madrasah of the countryget a value of 3.00 ie the category is in accordance with some data support ie;(1) the educational value expected by the community toward madrasah gets2,90 (according category); (2) The public's expectation of madrasah moralityearns a score of 2.85 (appropriate category ); (3) the community's expectationof a future developed by madrasah gets 3.09 points (category Very suitable);(4) the community's expectation of scholarship applied in Madrasah is 3.02(very suitable category); (5) people's expectation on madrasah management is3.08 (very match category). This research recommends to the Ministry ofReligious Affairs as follows: First, the Ministry of Religious Affairs needs toinnovatively develop the managerial patterns of madrasah heads and theorganizational patterns of the Madrasah Committee

Abstract

This article is projected to describe the process of institutional status transfer of IAINto UIN Alauddin Makassar according to Azhar Arsyad's perspective, which is one ofthe initiators of the transformation process of the State Islamic University. By utilizingthe social history approach, specifically the intellectual / historical history, this studyexamines the main points of thought Azhar with regard to the siginifikansi discoursewith respect to the importance of wider mandate of State Islamic University. which hasbeen using institutional nomenclature with all the limitations that are concentrated onthe discourse of the scientific paradigm which tends to be monolithic and atomistic,which is only concerned with Islamic discourse an sich, whose estuaries oftenculminate in the growing dichotomy between science and Islam, which is essentiallylike two inseparable sides of the coin. Taken for granted, Azhar also constructs ascientific integration paradigm, which is actually applied in UIN in the framework ofbreaking the chain which, during the two entities, a dichotomy between science andreligion that is originally like two inseparable coins, if it refers to the scientificparadigm of Islam. Concretely, Azhar is more holistic about the classification ofscience, and which is not spared by Azhar is improving the process of education andlearning in UIN post-institutional transformation

Abstract

The research on mapping of pesantren capacity in Gowa Regency using qualitativemethod, there are three things that want to be inside the mapping, First, about theaccessibility of pesantren geographically, Second, capacity of pesantren asmandated in Ministry of Religion regulation ie: (a) Kiyai or similar mentions; (b)santri; (3) Boarding school (pesantren); (4) Mosque; (5) The Study of OldManuscript of Islam or Islamic Studies with muallimin pattern, while the thirdcapacity is the ability of pesantren in doing empowerment for both santri andpesantren in institutional. The results of this mapping illustrate in general theaccessibility of pesantren in Gowa Regency, the average is far from the capital ofregency, while the fulfillment of the condition of the establishment of pesantren ingeneral has not been fulfilled, empowerment in pesantren focused on agriculture andlivestock is largely gone.

Abstract

The study aims to reveal how the biography of KH Djamaluddin Amien'scharacter tells about his life. Biography can be seen that he does not want to becultivated as a kyai and generator of educational social movements, includingthrough schools built from TK / TPQ Raudhatul Athfal, Elementary Schools,Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Madrasah Aliyah, and the mosque in the land ofKaraeng Bissoloro, Gowa Regency. His biography can also be seen from histhoughts and works in the world of education, activities as the leader of theMuhammadiyah of South Sulawesi Region, as Chancellor of the MuhammadiyahUniversity of Makassar, and as Chair of the National Mandate Party eventhough he does not want to be a member of the DPR. The mandate is held at thesame time. This study uses a qualitative research approach, supplemented byliterature studies and interviews. The results showed that the personality of KHDjamaluddin Amien as a cleric and Muhammadiyah figure in South Sulawesihad its own characteristics. The thought in the field of religious education is therenewal of the curriculum and teaching methods by combining the teachingmodel of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan with K.H.Hasyim Asy'ari, and charactereducation models through religious extracurricular activities that combineelements of religious science and general sciences with classical systems. Theconcept of multicultural education that was built by him was open to change,prioritizing discussion and dialogue. Abstract

This study aims to seen the implementation of character education ineducational units especially in Madrasah Aliyah, which focus on theimplementation of character education and supporting and inhibiting factors inthe implementation of character education MAN 1 Kendari. This study used aqualitative approach through simple observation of the curriculum charactermanagement, a brief interview with the headmaster and educators, conductvisual documentation of the facilities and infrastructure, and literature on somerelated literature. The results of this study, 1) In implementative of charactereducation in MAN 1 Kendari has long been applied through the guidance ofreligion, its application is not in the form of subjects (monolithic), but integratedinto the process of learning, self development activities/extracurricular, andfamiliarization school, 2) Factors supporting the implementation of charactereducation to the support of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the form ofsocialization of character education in each of the activities, the involvement ofsupervisors in providing guidance, the role of school committee in support of allthe program launched by the madrasah, caring headmaster, teachers andeducation personnel in create a religious atmosphere in the madrasah in thehope of fostering the realization of a noble character to the students, as well asthe role of the organization madrasah. Inhibiting factors in implementing acharacterized curriculum in the absence of regulation that can be used as alegal umbrella for the implementation of character education in madrassas,some educators do not understand the concept of planting character values thatwill be developed in each learning process and the role of supervisors who arenot yet maximal.

Abstract

Research on the quality of educators and education personnel in MadrasahAliyah (MA) is conducted at 6 MA education institutions in Bau Bau City.Collecting data using questionnaire instruments, interview guidelines, andobservation, using a quantitative descriptive approach. The quality of MA istaken from the National Education Standards to see the achievement of thequality educators and education personnel in each MA which is the basis fordescribing its quality. The results showed that the standard values of thecomponents of educators and education personnel seen from 8 componentswith their quality achievements in the category of "sufficient" approached theNational Education Standards. In detail the achievements of each componentare: achievement of qualifications, teacher certification, teacher competency,and "high" categorized madrasah head competencies. The quality of madrasahmanagerial competency, madrasah chief entrepreneurship competencies, andmadrasah head supervision competence shows a "very high" category. Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the integrity of students in the aspects ofhonesty, responsibility, tolerance, and love of homeland at the level ofsecondary education and its supporting factors. The study was conducted inseven districts/cities of West Papua Province in senior high schools andmadrasah aliyah. This is a qualitative research by distributing questionnairesas an instrument for collecting data on 10 students class XI in eachschool/madrasah. Analysis of data that has been tabulated is done using theSPSS application. The results showed that students' integrity was at a highlevel in all aspects; honesty 78%, responsibility 69%, tolerance 84%, andlove of homeland 90%. Likewis the supporting factors influence thestrengthening of integrity because it includes religious nuances and values.The results of the analysis also show that the environment of schools, familiesand residences correlates with aspects of honesty, responsibility, and love ofthe homeland. Aspects of tolerance are less correlated with the threesupporting environmental aspects. Factors in the availability of religiousteachers in schools / madrasas are also important aspects for strengtheningstudent integrity. In general, the integrity of students in West Papua Provinceis at a high level of 80%.

Abstract

The Ministry of Religion Republic of Indonesia has issued a Decree on IslamicReligious Education which regulates the management of Pondok Pesantren.However, it has not been maximally implemented in various regions. This studyaims to map the capacity of pesantren components according to the regulation.The deskrif study of this survey found that there was still a diversity ofcapacitation in Pondok Pesantren. This diversity was found in the existence,qualifications and compotency of the kiai, santri who live in pondok, huts andfacilities, mosques, the program of “kitab kuning“ learning, the types of „kitabkuning taught, and learning to defend the country. This study recommends thatthe management of pondok pesantren be maneuvered; rearrange the form ofpesantren according to the regulations of religious education that has beenpublished; and policies to increase the capacity of pesantren should beincreased

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the forms of service and influence ofthe Sigi Mosque Lamo in improving religious and social activities of thecommunity.. The research problem, how is the form of service and supportingand inhibiting factors in city mosque activities. The approach used isqualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the implementation ofreligion and religious coaching dominant was carried out in the Mosque of theSultanate of Sigi Lamo by using customary management of the sultanate.Service of Worship, preach and religious education through Fardh Prayers,Friday and Islamic holidays. Women cannot join prayer in congregation withmen, men are not allowed to use sarongs, must be long pants and wear cap /skullcap, and the limited Khatib and Imam who can lead and preach in themosque of the sultanate, all of which must be through the inauguration of theSultan. Supporting factors, the managers are enthusiastic in managing theprocession of activities and have a high concern and are obedient to thesultan's policies. Inhibiting factors, management and operational factorsmanually, the limited da'i. There is a need for collaboration between themosque management and the government (Ministry of Religion) and thecommunity about the development of da'wah. The sultanate may be able to givespace to all the sultanate mosques in the fulfillment Khatib without anylimitations.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the proportion, synergy of performance, supportingand inhibiting factors in the implementation the main tasks and functions of thePAI teacher and supervisors. Quantitative research with this survey approachwas explored using questionnaires, interviews, documentation to capture datarelating to performance of PAI teachers and supervisors and then synchronizethem to find synergy of performance of both. The data obtained is used todescribe the characteristics synergy of performance PAI teachers andsupervisors. The results of the study found that the proportion PAI teachers andsupervisors was very lacking and had not shown balance. The level ofsupervision provided by supervisors is related to the performance of PAIteachers and supervisors high categorized. The level of quality is very lowshown in the aspect of research and development, likewise the synergy ofperformance produced by PAI teachers and supervisors is very highcategorized. The results synergistic analysis between the two were interpretedeven though it was very high but the mastery of PAI teachers and supervisorstowards the research methodology seemed low. Supporting and inhibitorsfactors the quality supervision of PAI teachers, support related toadministration,school components, and school facilities when carrying outsupervision tasks. Constraints in carrying out supervisory tasks include the number of teachers and madrasas, transportation, participation in educationand training, ATK and funds, distance of schools / madrasas, and readiness ofteachers when supervised. While for the teacher, supporting the PAI teacher'stask is more to the facilitation aspects of the learning process (students,principals and parents) and the constraints faced by some PAI teachers in usingthe learning facility curriculum, and the intensity of supervisor visits
