Abstract

Encyclopdia Dermatology contains various lists of skin diseases, of course terms that some people find difficult to understand. Search for the term skin disease in the essence of health can be done in this dermatology encyclopedia application, with search keywords for symptoms, skin rashes and location, as well as based on alphabetical order of the name of the skin disease. Search keywords can be written in the search field found in the Disease Menu. There are several types of search algorithms, one of which is the sequential search algorithm. Sequential search was chosen because this method performs sequential linear searches that compare keywords with elements that have been stored in the database. These elements are stored in the form of an array data. There are three stages in the process of the sequential search algorithm method until the search process is complete. The results of the research have been tested with the black box method where all activities are successful and successful according to the needs of the implemented application functionality.

Abstract

Pharmacy is one of the first public health services. The Management Information Sistem at a pharmacy that is still using a conventional sistem is only recorded on paper for all data management processes for drug ordering, drug purchases, drug purchase returns, drug sales, drug sales returns and taking stock. So that the information generated is less accurate. The data needed is sometimes lost or damaged when it is stored because it is still written on paper. The conventional sistem of pharmacies does the writing of sales reports on sales books that are done after making a sales transaction, sometimes it takes time because of the large amount of drug data that must be written. This results in the sales transaction service process taking a long time and complaints from consumers due to the long service process. In this research, the sistem will be designed using the waterfall sistem development method with the Data Flow Diagram (DFD) modeling flow. Then a sistem analysis will be carried out using the framework of Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, Service (PIECES). The sistem analysis resulted from this research is a sistem that can be used to manage drug ordering data, drug purchase data, drug purchase return data, drug sales data, drug sales return data and drug taking stock data so that pharmacies can improve services to consumers more effectively and efficient. The application of the PIECES method in sistem design results in a comparison of the sistem process between the running sistem and the sistem being developed.

Abstract

The condition of the people in the midst of an epidemic of diseases caused by a virus that is sweeping the world has made us aware of the importance of cleanliness. One way to prevent transmission of viruses and bacteria is to wash our hands frequently with soap. Natural ingredients that can be developed into soap dosage forms because they have antibacterial activity are lemongrass and cinnamon. This research was conducted to determine the formulation and evaluation of liquid hand soap with a combination of lemongrass and cinnamon essential oil. This research was conducted experimentally, to examine liquid soap with various concentrations of lemongrass and cinnamon oil in formula I 0.25%: 0.25%, formula II 0.5%: 0.25%, formula III 0.25%: 0.5%, and the IV formula 0.5%: 0.5%. The results of the organoleptic examination showed the distinctive smell of lemongrass, in the form of thick liquid, lemon yellow in color, while formula I was pale yellow. The four formulas do not yet meet good pH parameters for hand washing soap. The results of the foam height test in formulas I, II, and III were 9 cm and in formula IV was 9.5 cm. The irritation test showed that the four volunteers had no irritation reactions. The results of the hedonic test show that the respondents gave an average rating response between like to very fond of liquid hand washing soap.

Abstract

The variety of cases of dental health that occur in elementary school children makes it difficult to quickly identify the factors that most influence dental health. To find out the dental health factors, a system that is able to provide a visual representation of the results of statistical analysis is needed based on the factors that affect oral health in elementary school children. Health information system analysis is mostly done through statistical data analysis. A total of 54 students were included in this study to determine the characteristics, factors that affect dental health, and the implementation of the application in the form of a prototype. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between children's perceptions and their knowledge of dental health and children's perceptions of dental health behavior. Furthermore, guidance and examples from parents play an important role in improving children's behavior regarding dental health. The t-test shows that male students get more examples and attention from their parents regarding dental health. Meanwhile, female students are more concerned with practicing matters related to dental health. The mobile application provides information on children's dental health statistics for schools and health centers. In addition, the application can also provide an overview of dental health in children.
