Abstract

Primary health care performance is closely linked to patient satisfaction, which reflects the extent to which services meet patient expectations. This study aimed to identify the determinants of outpatient satisfaction based on health service quality dimensions at Puskesmas Simo, Boyolali. A cross-sectional analytical observational design was applied involving 100 outpatient respondents selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable structured questionnaire and analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate logistic regression methods. Results showed that the majority of respondents rated service quality positively across all SERVQUAL dimensions, with 90% reporting satisfaction. Multivariate analysis revealed that four dimensions of reliability (OR = 6,08), responsiveness (OR = 4,20), assurance (OR = 2,66), and empathy (OR = 5,09) significantly influenced outpatient satisfaction (p < 0,05), whereas tangibles did not (p = 0,220). Reliability was the strongest determinant, indicating that patients perceiving consistent, timely, and accurate services were more than six times likely to report satisfaction. These findings highlight that non-physical aspects of service quality, including interpersonal interactions and service process effectiveness, are more decisive than physical infrastructure in determining patient satisfaction. Strengthening staff competencies, ensuring standardized procedures, and promoting patient-centered care are recommended to enhance service quality in primary health care.

Abstract

Background: Hyperglycemic conditions can lead to microvascular (27.2%) and macrovascular (53.5%) complications. Hyperglycemia causes damage to nerve cells, resulting in neuropathy that leads to decreased protective sensation in the feet. This condition causes individuals with diabetes mellitus (DM) to be unaware of foot injuries. Proper foot care is an essential part of preventing diabetic foot ulcers and can be carried out by individuals with DM at low cost and with proven effectiveness. Foot care behavior refers to actions taken to maintain foot hygiene in diabetic patients and to prevent early injuries that could lead to infection risk. Knowledge serves as the foundation for behavior change and determines an individual's level of ability. Methods:This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The population consists of all individuals with DM, with a sample size of 57 respondents in the Surakarta City prolanis group. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The research instrument used DFKS for knowledge and NAFF foot care behavior. Results:The majority of respondents had a low level of knowledge (64.9%) and poor foot care behavior (71.9%). Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed a p-value < 0.05 (0.018).Conclusion:There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and foot care behavior

Abstract

Camar Mandiri Primary Clinic, particularly the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Dental outpatient units, has not yet implemented an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; consequently, patient registration and data recording are still performed manually. This condition is not in line with the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022. This study aims to design and develop a web-based outpatient EMR system to improve service efficiency in the MCH and Dental clinics at Camar Mandiri Primary Clinic. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews involving two medical records staff, one dentist, one midwife, one pharmacist, and the clinic head. The system was developed using the waterfall method, which includes system flowcharts, context diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). Data were collected through observation and interviews. The result is a web-based outpatient EMR system for the MCH and Dental clinics at Camar Mandiri Primary Clinic. Black-box testing results demonstrate that the system aligns with user needs, is user-friendly, and adequately supports clinical examination and reporting functions. Future development is recommended by adding more comprehensive and complex features, particularly modules related to pharmacy services and cashier management

Abstract

Agenesis is a dental anomaly that occurs relatively frequently in humans. Agenesis results in the failure of teeth to develop after birth, with tooth development occurring only during childhood. The prevalence of permanent dental agenesis in non-syndromic individuals is higher among Europeans, with 4.6% in males and 5.5% in females, in Australia 5.5% in males and 7.6% in females, and lower among Caucasian Americans, with 3.2% in males and 4.6% in females. A 7-year-old male patient came to RSGM Soelastri with his mother, complaining of small and sharp teeth. In the intraoral examination, abnormalities were found in the deciduous teeth, showing hypodontia where the tooth bud of 42 did not develop. Beside of hypodontia, this case also exhibited a peg shape in tooth 82. The patient's parents should be given communication, information and education regarding the issues that occur. The diagnosis of agenesis requires clinical and supportive examinations. It can be concluded that the main factor causing agenesis and peg shape is genetic.

Abstract

Incompleteness of Inpatient (CPPT) form affects the quality of medical records in hospitals. The (CPPT) form must be filled out completely to improve the quality of hospital services and can be accounted for if there are errors in service, action or medication administration. The purpose of this study was carried out because there are still many problems found related to incompleteness of the (CPPT) form by PPA at Aisyiyah Hospital. The study was conducted at Aisyiyah Hospital from January to March 2025, this type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population was 144, with the Accidental Sampling sample technique, obtained 59. Data processing techniques were editing, coding, processing, and cleaning. The results of the study obtained a percentage of identification data as much as 1 (1.7%) incomplete 58 (98.3%) complete, in important reports 17 (28.8%) incomplete 42 (71.2%) complete. In authentication 50 (84.7%) incomplete 9 (15.3%) complete. In good record keeping, 21 (35.6%) were incomplete, 38 (64.4%) were complete. In filling out the form (CPPT), 51 (86.4%) were incomplete, 8 (13.6%) were complete. This was due to a lack of awareness among officers in filling out the CPPT form. The conclusion in this study was that incompleteness was still found, especially in the Authentication and Completion of the CPPT Form. This has an impact on patient safety and the accountability of medical personnel. It is recommended that officers fill out the CPPT form completely and accurately to support safe and quality health services.

Abstract

The assessment of practical skills among Associate Degree or Diploma 3 students of Medical Records and Health Information (MRHI) during field practice (PKL) lacks a standardized workplace-based assessment (WPBA) instrument, resulting in variations across institutions and potential subjectivity in evaluation. While Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS) is effective in clinical assessment but not fully suited to the non-clinical context of MRHI practice. This study aimed to modify DOPS into a formative assessment tool for MRHI field practice and to examine its validity and reliability. A research and development design was applied. The modified instrument, DOPSAT-RSP, underwent content validity testing by ten experts using the Content Validity Index (CVI) and Content Validity Ratio (CVR). Reliability testing included inter-rater reliability using Weighted Cohen’s Kappa and internal consistency using Cronbach’s alpha, involving two raters and 39 students. All items met content validity criteria (I-CVI ?0.900; CVR ?0.800; S-CVI =0.950). The Weighted Kappa value (0.774) indicated strong inter-rater agreement, while Cronbach’s alpha (0.952) demonstrated excellent internal consistency. The DOPSAT-RSP instrument is valid and reliable for formative assessment of D-3 RMIK students’ practical skills during PKL and shows potential for wider implementation with user training.
