Abstract

The provision of disability-friendly infrastructure in Jakarta faces several challenges, such asthe improperly installed guiding blocks and ramps, which hinder the mobility of people withdisabilities and increase the risk of accidents. This study aims to evaluate the performance ofdisability infrastructure and provide solutions to create a more inclusive and safer city. Usingboth quantitative and qualitative methods, data was collected through interviews, surveys, andfield observations at Jatinegara Station, Jakarta, with 14 respondents, including visuallyimpaired individuals and policymakers. The analysis shows that both the users of disabilityfacilities and policymakers lack sufficient understanding of disability infrastructure, as seen fromthe misalignment between the facilities and the proper design standards. This hinders themobility of people with disabilities, particularly the visually impaired. As a solution, the studyrecommends adding support facilities, such as specialized training for transportation staff andplacing staff at key locations, as well as supporting facilities like tactile maps and audio signageto help visually impaired individuals navigate public transport more easily and safely.

Abstract

The interaction between construction industry and projects can lead to inevitable construction disputes that need immediate resolution. Dispute boards can be an alternative for preventing and resolving construction disputes. This research aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and strategies for using dispute boards in Indonesian construction projects based on case study of MRT Jakarta Phase 2A Project. The research method is qualitative descriptive using Internal Factors Analysis Strategic (IFAS) to identify strengths and weaknesses and External Factors Analysis Strategic (EFAS) to identify opportunities and challenges then conducted to develop strategies for using a dispute board using SWOT Analysis. The findings indicate that standing dispute boards in construction projects can prevent escalation and improve the effectiveness of dispute resolution. However, the success of dispute boards depends on the trust from the involved parties and high costs needed. The use of dispute boards in Indonesia can fulfill the needs for dispute resolution during projects though the lack of awareness about the importance of dispute prevention and the limited number of qualified board members hinders widespread adoption. Strategies for using dispute boards in Indonesian construction projects include implementing regulations and granting the right to use dispute boards for all parties.

Abstract

The School Safety Zone (ZoSS) is designed to prevent accidents involving students when going to and from school. This research aims to determine the effect of inappropriate design and placement of markings and signs on ZoSS facilities based on visual observations of the speed of passing vehicles, crossing safety, and the level of conformity of ZoSS at the Alkaffah Binjai Waqf Foundation with established standards. The method used is to compare the results of field studies with the Directorate General of Land Transportation Standards, as well as using normal distribution statistical analysis (Z test). This research found that the DS value of the road is 0.45, which indicates that the road has a type C road service level. Speed the average number of vehicles passing on Jalan LetJend Jamin Ginting at the Alkaffah Binjai Wakaf Foundation ZoSS is: In the morning 35.44 km/hour (direction Binjai-Tanah Seribu) and 34.53 km/hour (direction Tanah Seribu-Binjai); In the afternoon 36.44 km/hour (direction Binjai-Tanah Seribu) and 38.91 km/hour (direction Tanah Seribu-Binjai). This speed still exceeds the permitted speed limit, namely 30 km/hour. The Z Test analysis of the characteristics of the waders in ZoSS shows that the calculated Z value (2.170) is greater than the Z table, which concludes that the waders in ZoSS are quite safe. However, the results of field observations showed that the signs were incomplete, their position was incorrect, and the road markings were damaged. These findings indicate that the ZoSS design in the field is not fully in accordance with the Directorate of Land Transportation Standards so it needs to be redesigned. The output of this research is a proposal to redesign ZoSS at the Alkaffah Binjai Waqf Foundation to be more in line with standards and improve safety for pedestrians, especially school students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk Mengetahui keselamatan Pengguna Sepeda Motor Jalan Ngumban Surbakti Ringroad. Lokasi Penelitian ini dilakukanyang berlokasi di Jalan Ngumban Surbakti Ringroad Sepanjang 3,7 Km. Metode pengumpulan data volume lalulintas dilakukan secara manual, pengumpulan data ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data volume lalulintas. Pengumpulan data ini dilakukan di jalan yang akan diteliti yaitu pada ruas jalanRingRoad. Survei volume lalulintas dilakukan pada jalan yang dianggap mewakili volume yang akan ditinjau. Data primer digunakan untuk prosesperhitungan penelitian ini. Data primer berasal dari pengamatan langsung dan perhitungan di lapangan di lokasi penelitian, yang terletak di simpangJalan Ringroad Ngumban Surbakti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis keselamatan pengguna sepeda motor di JalanNgumban Surbakti Ringroad mengungkap beberapa temuan yang signifikan. Pertama, karakteristik pengguna sepeda motor menunjukkan dominasikelompok usia muda, dengan mayoritas pengendara berusia antara 17 hingga 34 tahun. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa keselamatan pengguna sepeda motor, terutama di wilayah tersebut, perlu diprioritaskan dalam konteks pencegahan kecelakaan lalu lintas. Dari segi pendidikan, mayoritas responden memiliki latar belakang pendidikan menengah, seperti SMA, dan tinggi, seperti S1. Dari hasil analisis data, terlihat bahwa faktor usia, pendidikan, danpekerjaan berpengaruh pada keselamatan pengguna sepeda motor di Jalan Ngumban Surbakti Ringroad. Semakin tinggi usia, pendidikan, danpekerjaan seseorang, semakin cenderung mereka memahami dan mematuhi aturan lalu lintas, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan keselamatan berkendara.

Abstract

A traffic accident event is very diverse both in terms of the process of occurrence and the level of accident. The number of accidents that occurred on the Jendral Sudirman road, Aek Batu Village, Torgamba District, resulted in many losses. On this basis, it is necessary to analyze the accident rate against the high number of accidents so that the accident rate can be known. The research method used in this research is a combined method which uses primary data and secondary data. Data from the Torgamba District Police, from 2019 to 2023, there were 378 traffic accident victims. Results of the percentage analysis of accident rates in the last 5 years, Light Injury (LR) victims were the highest in the accident rate with a percentage value of 62.17% with a total of 235 accident victims, then the number of Serious Injury (LB) victims was 25.93% with the number of victims was 98 accident victims, and the death toll (MD) was 11.9% with the number of victims being 45 accident victims. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis using SPSS to determine the correlation coefficient value for the accident level, it was obtained that the highest Pearson correlation value was found in victims of minor injuries. (LR) is (r) 0.920, which means it is perfectly correlated, with a significance value of 0.027, which means it has a significant relationship with the number of accident victims. Efforts that can be made to reduce the number of accidents are: providing education about traffic and strict sanctions to road users who violate traffic regulations and the installation of traffic signs must be in accordance with Decree of the Minister of Transportation Number 61 1993 concerning Traffic Signs

Abstract

PT X is a manufacturing industry engaged in the Food and Beverage (F&B) sector that produces registered non-B3 waste in the form of Fly Ash and Bottom Ash, Fly Ash and Bottom Ash produced from burning coal in boilers. This industry has a Temporary Storage Place or TPS for Fly Ash and Bottom Ash waste, the evaluation is carried out based on the regulations of Government Regulation no. 22 of 2021 and Ministerial Regulation of Environment and Forestry no. 19 of 2021, The results of the evaluation showed the suitability of non-B3 waste TPS registered with PT. X, however, several times it is overloaded if it follows the ideal amount that has been determined, it occurs due to the unstable transportation vendor and production rhythm. The stages of Evaluation of Temporary Storage Places for non-B3 waste registered with PT X include waste identification, calculation of the capacity of Temporary Storage Sites, adjusting the facilities in the Temporary Storage Place with applicable regulations, analyzing the generation data generated by the boiler per day, from the results can be analyzed what things affect the number of Temporary Storage Places with an ideal capacity of 48 Jumbo Bags

Abstract

The waste problem in Indonesia is an unresolved problem. The ever-increasing population increases the amount of waste originating from human activities, both organic and inorganic waste. Like marble waste which is difficult to destroy naturally, research is needed on the use of marble waste into environmentally friendly concrete. The aim of the research is to find out how much the compressive strength of concrete is. This research uses experimental data collection techniques or methods (testing/observation. The research was carried out with the aim that the results of replacing some of the coarse aggregate with marble fragment waste in terms of the compressive strength value of the concrete could be known. The research was designed with variations in replacing marble fragments by 50% in cylindrical concrete with dimensions of 15 cm as the diameter and 30 cm as the height, and the concrete had been aged for 7 days, 14 days and 28 days and its compressive strength would be tested. The highest compressive strength was found in the marble mixture variation of 0.5-1 cm with a concrete age of 28 days, namely 26.86.

Abstract

Green concrete merupakan konsep beton dengan memasukkan unsur lingkungan di dalamnya dengan harapan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif yang terjadi. Salah satunya adalah dengan substitusi sebagian agregat kasar dengan limbah botol kaca dan limbah granit serta penambahan SikaCim. Oleh karenanya dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan metode eksperimental penggunaan limbah botol kaca (LBK) dan limbah granit (LG) sebagai substitusi agregat kasar dengan penambahan SikaCim (SC) pada beton yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya pada kuat tekan beton, nilai slump, dan daya serap air beton. Ada 5 (lima) trial mix yang dilakukan, yaitu TM1 (beton normal), TM2 (3%LBK, 3%LG + 0.7%SC), TM3 (3%LBK, 5%LG + 0.7%SC), TM4 (3%LBK, 8%LG + 0.7%SC), dan TM5 (3%LBK, 10%LG + 0.7%SC). Mutu rencana adalah f’c 20 MPa dengan benda uji silinder berdiameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Hasil kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari tertinggi pada TM1 sebesar 26.6 MPa, dan terendah pada TM 5 sebesar 20.7 MPa. Hasil nilai slump terendah pada TM1 sebesar 12 cm, dan tertinggi pada TM 5 sebesar 14 cm. Hasil daya serap air beton tertinggi pada TM1 sebesar 1.67%, dan terendah pada TM 5 sebesar 0.88%. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan substitusi 3% LBK dan semakin tinggi persentase substitusi LG terhadap agregat kasar serta dengan penambahan 0.7% SC, maka kuat tekan beton semakin rendah, nilai slump semakin tinggi, dan daya serap air beton semakin rendah.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to identify the risk factors and dominant factors that affect the duration and cost of the U-Ditch installation work for the Moncongloe District drainage development project in Maros, South Sulawesi. Observation and questionnaires were implemented to conduct the investigation. Project proprietors, planners, supervisors, and implementers comprised the respondents to the questionnaire. The SPSS Version 26 program was employed to analyze the data. The data was processed in a series of phases, including validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing of multiple linear regression, T test, F test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that the Standardized Coefficients Beta values of the independent variables were as follows: in the first order, variable X2 (Material) = 0.555, in the second order variable X3 (Equipment) = 0.445, in the third order variable X1 (Weather) = 0.255, in the fourth order variable X5 (Environment) = 0.254, and in the fifth order variable X4 (Labor) = 0.213. The risk factors that influence the duration and costs of the U-Ditch installation work for the Moncongloe District Drainage Development Project in Maros, South Sulawesi, as determined by these results, are as follows: materials, equipment, weather, environment, and labor. The risk factor on the independent variable X2 (Material) is the most dominant risk factor that affects the time and cost of installing U-Ditches on the Moncongloe District Drainage Development Project, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, as it has the largest Standardized Coefficients Beta value of 0.555 in comparison to the Standardized Coefficients Beta value of the other independent variables.

Abstract

It is important to choose a scheduling method that is appropriate to the type and characteristics of a construction project in order to ensure the smooth running of a project. A project scheduling study is carried out which can consider probability aspects so that you can determine the level of accuracy in scheduling and the project completion time. The project case study studied was the Rongkong River Flood Control Development Project, North Luwu Regency, which experienced a delay of 7 days from the predetermined schedule, due to very high rainfall conditions at the construction project implementation location. This research was carried out using the PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) method by reviewing research data in the form of work contracts, time schedules, RAB and monthly reports, to obtain the optimistic (a), pessimistic (b) and most likely (m) durations. The results of the study show that the PERT method can complete the Rongkong River Flood Control Development Project, North Luwu Regency, FY 2021 with a total expected time (TE) of 220 days faster than the planning schedule of 240 days, with a duration difference of 20 days faster than scheduling. existing. Based on the probability table, a planning schedule using PERT of 220 days only has a probability of project completion of 87.7%, while a planning schedule of 240 days has a greater probability of project completion with a probability of 90.1%. The results of this study show that PERT is not effective when used for scheduling. restart a project that is late.
