Abstract

Abstract[Title: Understanding Jeremiah’s Prophecy and His Book] Jeremiah is a prophet in the Old Testament, whose book is thick with a maximum biography. To understand the message of the prophet of Jeremiah, the readers must recognize two important things. First, the prophet Jeremiah himself, and the second,the book of Jeremiah. On one hand, there are frictions between Old Testament scholars about the historicity of Jeremiah's own figure. Is the figure of Jeremiah real or not real? On the other hand, there are many problems regarding the book of Jeremiah, related to the author of the book of Jeremiah. Who was the author of this book?Was it Jeremiah himself, or his secretary Barukh,orsomeone else, or later editors?Other problems related to the text about large differences in Jeremiah's text in the Hebrew and Greek versions of the Bible are very striking. In this study the author intends to provide an alternative solution to the complexity of Jeremiah's figure and his book.Keywords: Prophet Jeremiah, Book of Jeremiah

Abstract

AbstrakKehidupan Yesus yang dinarasikan dalam kitab Injil adalah sesuatu yang sangat fleksibel dan juga paradoks. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya perjumpaan dan pergumulan antara tabiat yang dimiliki oleh Yesus yaitu tabiat Ke-Illahian dan Kemanusiaan. Dalam menggenapi rancangan keselamatan yang dinyatakan oleh Allah, kedua tabiat ini tidak dapat terpisah dari diri-Nya. Gambaran kehidupan Yesus sebagai Allah yang menyejarah tentunya menjadi sebuah refleksi bagi komunitas iman sesuai konteksnya. Bagi seorang petani pertanian organik, gambaran Yesus dilihat sebagai petani yang bertanggung jawab dan pekerja keras. Gambaran Yesus sebagai petani yang bertanggung jawab dan pekerja keras akan menjadi sebuah inspirasi bagi para petani pertanian organik supaya mereka mampu menjadi seorang petani yang bekerja keras untuk memperjuangkan kehidupannya serta bertanggung jawab dalam memelihara lingkungan.Key Word: Petani, Pertanian Organik, Bertanggung Jawab, Pekerja Keras

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Pelaksanaan Sertifikasi Guru terhadap Minat Peningkatan Kualifikasi. Hasil analisa data menunjukan: 1) r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel (0,726 lebih besar dari 0,381); 2) Uji signifikan hubungan diperoleh t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 5,274 lebih besar dari 1 ,703; 3) Persamaan regresi linier diperoleh Ÿ = 16,889 + 0,245X; 4) Besarnya pengaruh antara pelaksanaan sertifikasi guru terhadap minat studi lanjut mahasiswa program peningkatan kualifikasi dipengaruhi oleh pelaksanaan sertifikasi guru sebesar 52,6% dan sebagian lagi dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain; 5) Uji signifikan pengaruh F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel pada taraf = 0,05 (31,60 lebih besar dari 4,17).Kata Kunci : Sertifikasi guru, Minat Studi Lanjut

Abstract

AbstractSociety is becoming increasingly consumptive. Consuming goods is notbecause of the value of its use, but for the sake of lifestyle, so that humans today are never able to meet their needs. To understand the consumption society, the writer examines in a qualitative research with exploratory description method. Research Objectives: Strive for the theological values of Christianity to be interacted with popular culture specifically culinary tourism and the lifestyle of the consumption society in the fourth industrial revolution era (digital era). Thus the results of the study, namely: The development of popular culture does not actually deceive humans, but rather empowers in relation to the cultural mandate.Keywords: Society, consumption, popular culture, digital age, greed, andfragility

Abstract

AbstracThe environment has a very important life support function. Therefore, management and development are directed to maintain its existence in a dynamic balance through various safeguards and rehabilitation efforts and also the efforts to maintain balance between its elements continuously. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve the harmony of the population and the environment, develop environmental awareness, and encourage participation and self-help of the community in preserving the ability of life (preserving the environment). The attitude and mentality of human who are not aware of the meaning and function of the environment, as well as the meaning of humanity as God's creation have caused various problems in the environment. Humans are given the mandate by God to guard, account for in their use and maintenance, because humans are the highest creation of God from other creations. This paper will describe the meaning of the integrity of creation and environment, the basis of theology about the integrity of creation and environment, problems about the environment, attitudes and responsibilities of Christians about the integrity of creation and environmental sustainability, analysis and conclusion.

Abstract

AbstractJean-Paul Sartre is an atheist philosophical figure that is well known for spreading his idea about existentialism. The purpose of this paper is to know what Jean-Paul Sartre knows about the existence of God. As for the purpose of this writing is to see Jean-Paul Sartre concept of God that said if God exist then humanity is nothing, man will be come it self if they nullify God himself. The method of the research ised is a literature research and descriptive method, which scientifically digs the flow and the core of Jean-Paul Sartre thoughts and what other factor that affects his thinking. The result of this research shows that for Sartre the existence of God only limits himself from freedom. With existence of God humans can’t be free to find their true identity. The real freedom according to Sartre is humans are willing to deny God’s existence in every aspect of their life. The implications tha we can get from Jean-Paul Sartre idea is we have to acknowledge that philosophical thinking can not be separated from the context of its era so we must be careful on understanding Sartre thoughts that stated that we become ourself when we deny the existence of God, that’s why as a human we must be willing to learn through education and our experiences with God, so we can develop meaning for ourself and those around us by prioritizing God. Because of that, we must be responsible with what we belief on reaching our own existence.Key Words: Exitensialism; Jean-Paul Sartre; God

Abstract

AbstractGenerally, missiology can be understood as the study of the Gospel messagespreading or what is better known as Sending. Thus, this Gospel spreading isconsidered as one of the main task or function of churchestht is to share the good news about Jesus Christ worldwide. Therefore, this comprehension cannot be taken wrong, however in the Old Testament, missiology has to be seen from the standpoint on “how God the Father called and sent his servants to carry out all the tasks assigned to them in order to turn the people of Israel from their stubborness so that they could be saved and not be perished in the punishment that were bounded to them’’ In the old Testament there is an obvious assignment to do the outreach mission to all nations all around the world. Abstract

AbstrackThis paper discusses the link between the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah with other parts of the Old Testament, whether it is related to the Torah, the Prophets (Neviim), and the Writings (Khetuvim). The author's assumption is that the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah is inseparable from other parts of the OT. There are passages in Jeremiah that are influenced by the ideas of the earlier OT books, and vice versa Jeremiah also influences the thoughts of the OT books afterwards. Abstract

AbstractThe entry of Christianity into the Batak land made a shift in the belief value of the Batak Toba people. This paper discusses beliefs about human spirit life after death in the Old Testament and in the beliefs of pre-Christian Batak people.The Israelites believed in a life form after death, death is not annihilation, but the transition to another type of existence in sheol. BatakToba people believe that there is life after death even more have power.
