Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease caused by the body's inability to make or use insulin properly. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a complex chronic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels or hyperglycemia, which occurs as a result of failure of insulin secretion, decreased insulin secretion or insulin resistance. The purpose of the study was to find out the picture of diabetes patients' compliance with therapy using diabetes drugs at Ide Indramayu Clinic. This type of research is research that is descriptive with case series design methods that are a collection of individual cases of a disease with the same diagnosis. The type of data method collected is secondary data that has been recorded on medical records (status cards) of people with diabetes Mellitus who seek road treatment in Kinik Ide. The proportion of the rate of fertility of diabetic patients in Ide Clinic is based on sociodemographic, the highest proportion is in the age group of 51-58 years 40%, female sex 65%, Javanese 85%, Islam 95%, based on work/IRT / pension as much as 45%, residence 100% of indramayu population.

Abstract

Melasma is a hypermelanosis disorder that arises typical of areas of the skin that are often exposed to sunlight. Melasma therapy is relatively difficult because there is often chronicity in melasma. Until now therapy with Kligman formula is still an option, but kligman formula has some side effects, especially for long-term use. Cysteamine works by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase. Traneksamat acid works by inhibiting the activity of plasmin in keratinocytes known as stimulators of tyrosinase activity The purpose of the study proved and analyzed the effectiveness of cysteamine cream layering therapy 5% and tranexilic acid 3% compared to kligman formula modification in melasma sufferers to improve MASI score. Experimental research method, pre and post control group design double-blind randomied controlled trial with 28 samples of melasma patients namely group A using layering cysteamine cream 5% and traneksamat acid 3% compared to the group of patients melasma i.e. group A using layering cysteamine cream 5% and traneksamat acid 3% compared to the group of patients. Assessment and measurement of the effectiveness of therapy is carried out during weeks 0, 2, 4 and 8, with an assessment of MASI score. The analysis used is the t-pair test and the Wilcoxon test. Statistical tests are considered meaningful if p<0.05. The results of the study decreased the difference in MASI score in group A obtained in week 4 and week 8, while group B in week 8. The difference in the difference in MASI score change between group A and group B in weeks 4 and 8 indicates a significant difference (p=0.025 and p=0.003). Conclusion of 5% layering cysteamine therapy and 3% tranex acid indicates a decrease in the difference in MASI score earlier than modified Kligman cream therapy.

Abstract

Fluid resuscitation plays a crucial role in the management of patients who experience acute circulatory failure in the intensive care unit. Adequate fluid resuscitation is an important issue because excessive fluid resuscitation can cause electrolyte disturbances and coagulation disorders, but improper volume restrictions can lead to low cardiac output or improper use of vasopressor or inotropic drugs. The purpose of focus examination is to provide timely and repeatable diagnostic information at the time a question arises. The methods carried out from this study are mini fluid challenge case study methods and focus approaches as a resuscitation guide. In an observational study conducted by Husain et al in 220 patients in intensive care units, use of FoCUS by handheld ultrasound devices was found to be associated with much lower fluid prescriptions (49 vs. 66 mL/kg, p = 0.01) and more use of dobuttamine (22 vs. 12%, p = 0.01) than the standardly managed historical control group. The correct Fluid Chalengee technique can maximize positive and negative predictive values by using two main components: the amount of fluid given and the duration of administration where the recommended optimal volume is 4ml/KgBB.

Abstract

The hospital is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts. In carrying out its duties, the hospital records and reports patient health. Recording and reporting of patients can be seen from the medical record file. After the storage time limit is exceeded, the medical record can be retained or destroyed. Medical record retention is an activity to separate active and inactive medical records which aims to reduce the burden of storage racks. This study aims to design an outpatient medical record retention information system using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 at the Proklamasi Hospital Karawang. Based on the research conducted, a problem was found, namely the retention system is still manual and not fully computerized, by sorting the medical record files one by one to separate between active and inactive files resulting in a long process. So it is necessary to have a retention information system to accelerate the destruction of medical record files. The design method uses the waterfall method. The method stages are Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, maintenance. The medical record retention information system that has been created, it can be concluded that the system can facilitate officers in carrying out medical record file destruction activities to be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Storage racks are needed to maintain the confidentiality of medical records, maintain medical records from physical damage, and make it easier for officers to retrieve medical records and return medical records. In addition, sufficient storage space is also needed so that the shelves needed can be arranged properly and neatly. Based on initial observations, the medical record file storage space at the Cangkuang Health Center is still narrow and insufficient, as evidenced by the large number of medical record files scattered on the floor and difficult access for officers. This study aims to determine the area of medical file storage space based on the need for storage racks. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method by describing the results of the research as they are and comparing them with the theory which then draws conclusions. The subject in this study is the outpatient medical record file storage room. The object of this research is the outpatient medical record file and the outpatient medical record file storage rack. The results showed that the number of storage racks at the Cangkuang Health Center was 5 units with a storage area of 5.39 m². If currently there are only 5 shelves, Cangkuang Health Center needs to provide 5 more shelves, and expand the storage space to 13.63 m² so that all current medical record files can be neatly arranged in the shelves and make it easier for officers to retrieve and return them. medical record file.

Abstract

Black Rice (Oryza sativa L. Indica) is a rice commonly used to improve health. Black rice has a physical shape similar to rice in general, but the surface of this rice is blackish purple. The study aimed to test the antioxidant activity and tyrosinase inhibitors in black rice extract. The study was conducted from February 2019 to August 2019. Using experimental methods. Black rice is extracted by the maceration method using 96% solvent ethanol, then several tests are performed using spectrophotometry. Observed parameters include phytochemical test results, antioxidant activity, and tyrosinase inhibition activity. Tests of antioxidant activity and inhibition of tyrosinase were observed from IC50 (inhibitor concentration) values. The results of phytochemical analysis showed that black rice extract contains flavonoids, tannins, and triterpenoids. The antioxidant activity test is performed using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrihydracil) method which has very strong antioxidant activity with an IC value of < 10 ppm. Brown rice extract has inhibition of tyrosinase. The conclusion that can be from this study is that black rice extract phytochemicalally contains flavonoids, tannins, and triterpenoids that are included in antioxidant compounds.
