Abstract

This research is entitled using the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This aim is to improve students' critical thinking skills, and students' responses to social studies learning material on Indonesian Community Economic Activities using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model. This research uses a Mix Method or often called mixed method research between qualitative and quantitative, the design used is explanatory sequential. Data collection in this research used test, observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. In this study, the population taken was elementary school VC class students located at SD Negeri Cicalengka 03, totaling 39 students consisting of 13 male students and 26 female students. The results of data processing show that the average score obtained can be proven by the average result of the pretest class which was not given the TPS learning model getting an average score of 62.41 and the score obtained by the posttest class getting an average score of 86.28. The conclusion of this research can be interpreted as that Think Pair Share is more effective in improving the critical thinking power of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study examines the improvement of cooperative skills using a cooperative learning model of the student team achievement division (STAD) type and students' responses to learning using the STAD type cooperative model. The research method used is a mixed method with an explanatory sequential design. This research was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Batujajar with a total of 31 students. In this model, a group is given treatment and then given observation of results and processes. The data collection technique in this study uses observation sheets, student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a normality test and an N-gain test assisted by the SPSS application. Based on the results of the study, the STAD type cooperative training model in improving cooperation ability has increased, as seen based on the results of the N-gain test with a score of 0.43 with the medium category, with a percentage of pretest scores of 63% and an increase of 17% in the posttest results, which is 80%. The learning model is said to be effective if the N-gain score obtained > 0.3 in the medium category, and students show a good response while using the STAD-type cooperative model based on the results of the questionnaire with an average score of 85, 9 in the very good category.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research in the field of Guidance and Counseling (CAR-GC) aims to determine the effectiveness of using self-management techniques to improve advanced study planning skills among Grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 10 Palembang through group counseling services. The research involved seven students (MFA, BNI, MPAR, KPS, ASP, MBA, MS) as subjects and was conducted over three cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection stages. Data were collected using participatory observation and semi-structured interviews. The findings of this study indicate that selfmanagement techniques are proven effective in enhancing students' ability to plan for further studies. (Detailed results of each cycle will be presented in the results and discussion section). This research is expected to make a positive contribution to guidance and counseling practitioners in improving their ability to support students in planning their future education.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the maturity of students' career choices through group guidance services incorporating problem-solving techniques at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The background of this study is based on the low understanding of students in determining career choices that are in accordance with their potential and interests, which has an impact on confusion in making decisions after graduation. This study is a Classroom Action Research (PTK-BK) project, carried out in three cycles, each comprising the planning, implementation, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. Problem-solving techniques are applied in the implementation of group guidance to help students explore themselves, understand the world of work, and build self-confidence and responsibility in making career decisions. The results of the study showed a significant increase in five aspects of career choice maturity, namely confidence in career choices, the ability to find and choose relevant activities, seriousness in carrying out these activities, responsibility for career decisions, and consistency of career interests. The percentage of researcher activities and student participation also increased from the sufficient category to very good in cycle III. Thus, group guidance services with problem solving techniques have proven effective in improving the maturity of students' career choices. Abstract

Empowering women through entrepreneurship-based education is a strategic effort to enhance the economic independence of independent women's groups. This study aims to develop a participatory learning model based on entrepreneurship to support the skill enhancement and capacity building of women’s groups at PKBM An Nur. This research employed a qualitative approach with a participatory action research (PAR) design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies involving participants and learning facilitators. The findings reveal that the participatory entrepreneurship-based learning model effectively increased active participation, facilitated the development of independent businesses, and strengthened social networks. The model's success lies in its collaborative approach, local relevance, and hands-on practice. This study offers a novel contribution by integrating participatory approaches with entrepreneurial concepts as an innovative solution for women's empowerment. In conclusion, this model has the potential to serve as a reference for other community education institutions in supporting women’s economic independence in the era of Society 5.0. Abstract

Abstract A delayed task can be caused by being preoccupied with completing other, less urgent tasks that are not prioritized. In addition, postponing assignments or tasks may also occur intentionally due to laziness, which can become a daily habit. The main factor contributing to procrastination is often a lazy attitude accompanied by the assumption that there is still plenty of time to complete the obligations or assignments that need to be done. Therefore, this study aims to overcome students' academic procrastination behavior through the implementation of informational services using audiovisual media for Grade XI students at SMAN 10 Palembang. The subjects of this study were Grade XI students at SMAN 10 Palembang. This research is a guidance action research (Penelitian Tindakan Layanan or PTL), using pre- and post-test questionnaires. The study was conducted in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of two sessions of informational services. The results of the study indicate that addressing academic procrastination through informational services using audiovisual media is highly effective. This is evidenced by the pre-test percentage in Cycle I, Session I, which was 92%, followed by a post-test percentage of 87%. In Cycle II, the percentage was 71%, and in Cycle III, the result decreased to 68%. Observation sheets for each cycle during the implementation of the services showed that in Cycle I, Session I, the observation score reached 80%, and in Session II it dropped to 75%. In Cycle II, Session I, the percentage was 74%, and in Session II it was 71%. In Cycle III, Session I, the percentage was 68%, and in Session II it remained at 68%.
