Abstract

Corn is a food crop that has a strategic role in the national economy because of its role as a food ingredient, the main raw material for feed, and industrial raw materials. This research aims to analyze trends in harvest area, production, and productivity of corn commodities in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data or time-series data from the Central Statistics Agency for 1981-2020. Data analysis used trend analysis. The research results show that the development of the national corn commodity in the 1981-2020 period experienced fluctuations with the corn commodity harvest area averaging 2.64% per year. National corn commodity production averages 5.90% per year. Meanwhile, for the 2010-2020 period, corn commodity production experienced an average growth of 3.77%. and in 2019 there was an increase of 30.69 million tons, which was the highest production over forty years. Meanwhile, the development of corn commodity productivity averaged 3.11% per year. During this period, national corn commodity productivity increased from 1.53 tonnes/ha in 1981 to 4.84 tonnes/ha in 2020.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the characteristics of the household tofu industry (home industry) in Lambusa Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. The research was conducted in July–August 2020 at Lambusa Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. Determining the research location was carried out using purposive sampling with the consideration that the majority of the population in the area meets their living needs from agricultural products, and the most abundant industry is tofu. This research uses a descriptive approach that is intended to describe, describe, and describe in depth the characteristics of the home industry. The research results show that the amount of tofu production is 24,204 kg and can produce tofu an average of 10,600 kg/month. Tools used in tofu processing include grinding machines, basins, sieves, tofu molds, plastic drums, baskets, furnaces, and zinc drums. The raw materials used in making tofu are soybeans, vinegar, and fuel. Industrial businesses sell tofu at the same price, namely Rp 7,500/kg. One kilogram of tofu consists of 40 pieces, with the size of each piece of tofu being 5 cm x 5 cm with a thickness of 2 cm. The weight of each piece of tofu is one ounce.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of broiler chicken plasma farmers regarding the implementation of partnerships with core companies in Kendari City. This research was carried out in June - July 2023, and the research location was Kendari City because many broiler chicken plasma farms partner with core companies. The data types consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used include interview techniques and literature. Calculations were carried out to find an index of farmers' satisfaction levels with: (a) production facility services, (b) cultivation technical services, and (c) post-harvest services by determining weights based on the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. The research results show that the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) attribute included in quadrant I is the adequacy of production facility services and guidance materials, as well as the suitability of harvest time. Attributes included in quadrant II are DOC quality, feed quality, adequacy of medicines and vaccines, frequency of technical guidance, and time for payment of harvest results. The attributes in quadrant III are DOC prices, feed prices, drug and vaccine prices, production facility delivery schedules, and handling of remaining sapronac. The attributes in quadrant IV are responses to complaints and the suitability of output prices. Based on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis, the farmer satisfaction level is 0.722 or 72.20 percent, which falls into the satisfied categor

Abstract

This research aims to (a) determine the smoked fish processing process, (b) determine the costs and income of the smoked fish agroindustry and (c) determine the profitability of the smoked fish agroindustry in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. Determination of the research area was carried out purposively. Analysis is used to determine the relative profits of a business using the Revenue Cost Ratio or R/C. Net Profit Margin is used to measure the agro-industry's ability to generate net profits from sales made by the agro-industry. The results of the research show that the profitability analysis of the smoked fish agro-industry in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency in the smoked fish processing process uses stages, namely selecting raw materials, cleaning and splitting the fish, piercing and clamping the fish, cutting process, washing process and fish smoking process. Based on the Net Profit Margin (NPM) of sample A and sample B businesses from November - April for sample A it is at 29%, 27%, 24%, 30%, 24%, and 29%, and for sample B it is at 38 %, 38%, 38%, 38%, 37%, and 35%, so it can be seen that the smoked fish business can generate good net profits.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the productivity of micro-scale tempeh processing businesses in South Konawe Regency. Determining the research location was carried out purposively. The sampling method used in the research is the census method technique, where the samples used in this research are the Micro A, Micro B, Micro C, Micro D, Micro E, and Micro F tempeh businesses. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews. , documents and libraries. The analysis used is analysis of labor productivity, production productivity, income and trade system margins. The results of the research show that the labor productivity of micro-scale tempe businesses that have very good consecutive criteria is Micro B and C. The production productivity of micro-scale tempe businesses is Micro A, B, C, D and E. The income of tempe businesses is the highest. The highest micro scale in one production is the micro B tempeh industry with a value of Rp. 3,069,000.

Abstract

In March 2022, there will be a national shortage of cooking oil. The price of cooking oil in Southeast Sulawesi at that time reached IDR 70,000 per liter, the highest in Indonesia. This has a big impact on households and fried food businesses as MSMEs because cooking oil is a daily necessity. Cooking oil is one of the main requirements for the sustainability of a fried food business, so without its use, the business will not run or close. This research aims to analyze the income and contribution to household income of fried food businesses in Kendari City. The location of the research was in Kendari City in Kiambu District (Jalan H.E.A. Mokodompit), Baruga District (along Jalan Jenderal A. Yani and Jalan Poros Halu Oleo Airport). The research results show that the average income of fried food businesses in Kendari City reaches IDR 17,837,236 per month. The highest income was obtained from the fried food business located on Jalan Ahmad Yani (Haluoleo Airport Axis) reaching IDR 26,377,042 per month, while the one located in front of the UHO Campus was IDR 9,297,431 per month. Analysis of the average income contribution reached 57% and the highest is located in front of the UHO campus at 64%, while the lowest is located in Ahmad Yani (Haluoleo Airport Axis) reaching 51%.
