Abstract

Positive information and feedback for tourists should be provided through the marketing information medium to increase visits to tourist attractions. One of the most important determining factors is the credence of such information obtained by tourists. Tourists can access marketing information through social media, both in the formal and informal communication realms. The information obtained from the medium then forms a mental image that reinforces tourists' perceptions of risk and influences their decision to travel. Considering this, the purpose of this study is to find out the understanding of experts and research regarding the feelings of anxiety of tourists' travel with risk perception marketing information media. In this research, the author uses a qualitative research method using a library approach.

Abstract

Modern society argues that society depends on the ideology of consumption. Consumption is not only a marker of the social status of a person or group. Status consumption is a mechanism used by consumers to gain social status or prestige by buying and consuming goods that customers and their significant other consider high status. but also a way of solving problems, constructing meaning for the environment around us, and even forming personal identities. The increasing reach of the ideology of consumerism has expanded the traditional definition of what is called a "commodity" to an intangible service. When service becomes a commodity, the institutions that provide it tend to focus more on activities that are consumer service, with the aim of attracting and retaining customers who are influenced by market ideology. This model has been used by higher education institutions, namely universities, so that consumerism occurs by students who need educational service products, therefore this study wants to know the consumerism behavior of students. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a sample of 500 respondents. The survey shows that students tend to act as consumers in the education provided by the university. Consumerism is correlated with expectations of lecturers, job preparation, and grades, but not with student responsibilities.

Abstract

The occurrence of massive changes in the realm of human life, one of which requires humans to be attached to cyber technology. Today's society, especially the younger generation, cannot be kept away from using the internet. Internet of Things makes Indonesia an opportunity to become one of the countries that can develop this technology. Like a double-edged coin, these opportunities can pose various threats including misuse of personal data, the emergence of the development of cybercrime with the latest tools such as cracking, illegal access, etc. The formulation of the problem that can be put forward by the author is (1) how is the impact of Internet of Things technology on today's young generation (2) how is the effectiveness of Internet of Things technology for the younger generation. The implementation of community service activities related to healthy and intelligent internet education based on the Internet of Things consists of 2 (two) parts, a literature study related to the activity title, namely healthy and intelligent internet education based on the Internet of Things, coordinating with the Miru Village government, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency. The second stage in the implementation of community service activities was carried out offline on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Miru Village Hall which was attended by 20 Miru Village youth groups from several vulnerable groups aged 17-30 years. The result of this research is that cybercrime is closely related to transnational crime. The emergence of new criminal acts as part of the negative impact of Internet of Things technology such as online gender-based sexual violence crimes, theft of personal data and cyberbullying in Indonesia's young generation makes generation Z and millennial generation need education on how to use the internet in a healthy, intelligent and responsible manner.

Abstract

Kampung Kerupuk has the advantage of being close to Surabaya, the logistics backbone in Indonesia. with logistical advantage in the middle of two big cities, shipping, and forwarding can be done quickly and efficiently. Although they have a logistical advantage, producers are still not able to maximize this advantage to increase their production and sales. One of the inhibiting factors is that the management of stocktaking is still traditional and conservative so the record and management of inventory are limited. The policy concept designed to address this problem is to introduce manufacturers to the digitization of records and connected storage systems. By using stock inventory management, manufacturers can efficiently record with more precision and real-time. From the programs that have been implemented, it is found that, although almost all producers object to adopting this digitalization after being given socialization, almost all producers will use this stock inventory continuously. Some producers who are reluctant to adopt the system are constrained by technical problems and do not necessarily eliminate the intention to use the system in the future.

Abstract

The awareness of the negative impact of conventional farming and its safety have increased society’s perception of organic farming and its product. Unfortunately, the level of knowledge and adoption of organic farming practices among farmers are still low due to the assumption that organic farming is hard to implement. Ponorogo Organic Farming Community is a farming community that tries to adopt an organic farming system and has produced paddy and several horticultural crops cultivated organically. It was identified that the community had not yet applied the use of natural plant growth regulators (PGR) in their practice. Therefore, an agricultural extension activity was organized to share the knowledge on how to prepare an onion extract natural PGR. A survey was also performed to understand the level of knowledge and adoption of the participant. The questionnaire showed that most of the participants had not ever applied natural PGR even though had already heard about them before. Therefore, this program was of relevancy to improve the knowledge of the participant on organic way of farming particularly on the utilization of natural PGR.

Abstract

Purslane (Portulaca oleracea) is an underutilized plant that is commonly known as a weed; yet possesses high potential for its utilization as an alternative crop for medicinal purposes. This is due to Purslane's nutrient-rich status which, aside from its omega-3, is also a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and bioactive compounds such as phenolics and flavonoids. This work investigated the bioactive properties of Purslane extract in terms of Total Phenolics Content (TPC) and Total Flavonoid Content (TFC). The extract was prepared in ethyl acetate, ethanol, and n-hexane solvent using the maceration method. The results showed similar results in which the highest TPC and TFC were found in ethyl acetate extract at 14.74 ?g GAE/g and 11.56 ?g QE/g. This result showed the potential for further utilization of Purslane for medicinal purposes.

Abstract

Learning and inculcating character that contains the values of Bela Negara need to be carried out from an early age, starting from the age of 5 years or pre-school age. Character education for early childhood is intended to instill good values so that they can become good habits when children become adults or at the next level of education. The problems faced today are the children's lack of knowledge about the values of Bela Negara and their lack of knowledge about wayang art. Therefore, we need an extension of the values of Bela Negara to kindergarten children in a simple, interesting, and attractive way, namely through storytelling using wayang media. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase children's insight and knowledge about the values of defending the country and to introduce the art of wayang to children. The design of the wayang characters used is called Panca Satria, namely 5 little heroes with national defense characters, which are the results of the basic research of researchers. This outreach activity was carried out at Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya Kindergarten, which is located at Taman Bhaskara No. 1, Mulyorejo, Surabaya. With this community service activity, it is hoped that early childhood, especially kindergarten children, can recognize the value of Bela Negara from an early age as a form of love for the Indonesian homeland.
