Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and job satisfaction both partially and simultaneously on the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers who are alumni of IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung. Both civil servant and non-PNS status in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were PAI religion teachers from the formal education level of SD/MI and SMP/MTs in Bangka Regency with a sample of 240 teachers. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire consisting of 104 items. This research instrument was tested on 30 teachers. Test the validity of the instrument used is the validity of the content with expert judgment techniques. The reliability of the instrument uses the Alpha Cronbach formula. The analysis prerequisite tests carried out were linearity, normality and heteroscedasticity tests. The heteroscedasticity test uses a graphical regression pattern, the graph shows that the points spread randomly and spread above and below zero (Y axis) so that heteroscedasticity does not occur. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis techniques.The results showed: 1) pedagogic content had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 5.28%, 2) job satisfaction had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 6.32%, 3) pedagogical competency and job satisfaction together had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 10.2%.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19) has changed religious practices in the life of the Muslim community. Religious practices are now changing and adapting according to different health protocols from the previous situation. Religious adherents are no longer in conflict with the lusts and disturbances of the devil and all kinds of things, but now have to deal with a deadly virus in performing religious rituals. Islam has invited mankind to follow the teachings in the Qur'an in a wise manner, good words, and clear exchange of ideas. This principle emphasizes that the spread of Islam must be carried out taking into account the situation and conditions of the community concerned, as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach, namely an approach that tries to explain or reveal the meaning of concepts or phenomena of experience based on the awareness that occurs in several individuals. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data with the triangulation method. The results of the study: (1) The tradition of festive feasts in the village of Sendang Jambon Ponorogo has existed since the time of the ancestors, namely around the 1940s, before Indonesia's independence. (2) The tradition of celebrating Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha has become a routine for the residents of Sendang village, the majority of which are Nahdliyin people. The tradition is carried out on the night of the feast or called megengan, and in the morning after carrying out the 'Id prayer, by bringing tumpeng rice and giving lectures and prayers together. (3) The spiritual value in the kenduri tradition is carried out as a form of public gratitude for the coming of Muslim holidays, friendship, maintaining unity and integrity, mutual cooperation, giving alms, etc.

Abstract

There are non-Muslim teachers in the formal education institutions of the BBI Islamic Boarding School. Non-Muslim (Hindu) teachers pass their knowledge on to their students, all of whom are farmers, because the students live in boarding schools. So, in terms of human resources, these farmers do have a multicultural education in various religions. This multicultural education practice is clearly reflected in the management of human resources of the faculty, staff and other educational components. This research is a field study and the author uses a qualitative approach in this research. The authors set the research location in Tabanan, a boarding school in Bina Insani, Bali. The author chose this location because the Bina Insani Islamic Boarding School in Bali is an example of interfaith multicultural education. Based on an analysis of all available literature data, our results show that multicultural education at the Bina Insani Bali Islamic Boarding School aims to instill tolerant attitudes and behaviors among religious people. Pesantren also want to teach students the beauty of tolerance for other religions. Multicultural education at Pesantren Bina Insani (PBBI) Bali is characterized by the presence of elements of education that rely on students and educators as individuals or groups to represent (represent) the community. multiple cultures. Identity is related to the attitude of a person or group of people. They influence each other based on their identity, which includes interactions between different and different cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of online discussion methods on the social skills of PGMI UIN Raden Intan Lampung students. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. The objects in this study were online discussion and social skills, while the research subjects were students of PGMI UIN Sunan Raden Intan Lampung semester 1 of 52 respondents. This research was carried out when the researcher became an apprentice student as well as acting as a teaching assistant for the lecturer in the Morals of Tasawuf course at the PGMI Study Program UIN Raden Intan Lampung, which was held from 12 October 2022 to 21 December 2022. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observation, and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the online discussion method applied at PGMI UIN Raden Intan Lampung had positive and negative impacts on students' social skills. The positive impacts of the online discussion method include: (1) improving skills in dealing with other people; (2) increase a sense of solidarity and good cooperation; (3) accustomed to organize and self-management of activities or tasks, (4) increase self-confidence, and; (5) improve the skill of complying with the rules. Meanwhile, the negative impact of this online discussion method is the low academic skills of students consisting of: (1) lack of understanding of lecture material; (2) the lack of fluency in student communication skills; (3) lack of interaction and liveliness in discussions between students.

Abstract

Discussion of mental health is an important matter to pay attention to during post-pandemic periode. Majelis ta’lim is one of the forums to guide the mental health of women. This study aims to describe the role of the muslimah majelis ta’lim at the Darussalam mosque, Kota Wisata Bogor, in guiding the mental health of mothers. This study uses a type of descriptive qualitative approach. The findings from the role of Muslimah majelis ta’lim in raising awareness of post-pandemic mental health are; 1. Health education, socialization about perimenopause depression, postpartum depression, Islamic health, 2. Increasing religious understanding which can increase faith and happiness, 3. Discussion related to psychosocial issues regarding parenting and marriage, 4. Workshop on the Qur'an for mothers 5. Empowerment of the poor by providing scholarships and school equipment at the beginning of each academic year, 6. Guiding MSMEs to improve the household economy, 7. Cheer up the poor mothers every year for holidays and increase ukhuwah, 8. Free health checks at the mosque health post every Saturday morning. From the data obtained, it shows that majelis ta’lim carries out maternal mental health guidance activities in various forms of activity.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in MI students in Jombang City is the lack of spiritual intelligence of students as evidenced by the decline in children's manners and moral ethics. This is because students see negative videos that are spread on social media. So this study aims to find out how the full day school program implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Jombang City can improve the spiritual intelligence of grade II students. Interviews and documentation are used as data collection methods in qualitative descriptive research methods. 27 students from class II were interested, the chairman, class II teacher, and the students as resource persons. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. 27 students from class II participated, the principal, class II teacher, and students' parents as informants. The results of the study showed that full-day learning was carried out at MI Jombang city from Monday to Friday from 06.55 to 15.40 WIB. There are many efforts to improve students' spiritual intelligence, including teachers delivering subject matter, congregational prayers, dhuha prayers, morning recitation, and the habit of one day one coin. Because through these habits students experience changes in attitudes such as discipline, having empathy for others, and always remembering Allah in their actions. However, these efforts can be further developed through positive activities so that students' spiritual intelligence can develop properly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the fostering of discipline and Tawassuth of students and to describe the impact of fostering discipline and Tawassuth of students at the Salafiyah Darussalam Boyolali Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative research. This research uses data collection techniques through structured interviews with the presence of researchers in the field, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was used, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that: 1. Fostering discipline and Tawassuth students through giving advice, exemplary and scheduled activities such as congregational prayers, recitation, dziba activities, tahlil activities, simaan, rote memorization, roan, and activities with the community. 2. The impact of fostering disciplinary attitudes and Tawassuth students from disciplinary attitudes, namely: The impact of fostering disciplinary attitudes on students at the Salafiyah Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, namely: Compliance with regulations in Islamic boarding schools, disciplinary attitudes related to the completion of learning assignments, the obedience of students during class hours, as well as in fostering a disciplinary attitude there are sanctions for those who violate it. Then the impact of fostering the attitude of Tawassuth is: Establishing friendship between people so that divisions do not arise, students do not discriminate between groups or groups in interacting and communicating, accept opinions from other people who have different opinions and students can receive suggestions, input and constructive criticism from others.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low habituation of the tasamuh attitude possessed by students at the Tasywiqul Furqon Islamic Boarding School in everyday life. Besides that, the learning method used in learning does not activate students, so students are easily bored and don’t even focus when receiving lessons. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning the colossal tambourine in order to increase the habituation of the santri’s tasamuh attitude and whether there are significant changes to the learning of the santri colossal tambourine. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest posttest research design. Data were obtained using pretest and posttest worksheets. The result show that there is a significant result (2-tailed) 0.000<0.05 which means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an effectiveness and a significant change in the learning of colossal tambourine in order to increase the habituation of the student’s tasamuh attitude. The average acquisition score of N after learning is 85.98 and before learning is only 67.61

Abstract

This study aimed to explain the process of  internalization of entrepreneurship values to students, to identify the entrepreneurship values of  students, and to explain the output produced from establishing the entrepreneurial value of  students at the Al Fahham Islamic Boarding School. This study was qualitative research that used interviews, observation, and documentation to collect the data. The respondents in this study were cottage caretakers, 2 administrators, and 8 students. Data collected were analyzed through the process of  data reduction with select methods related to the goal of  this research. Then, the result of  data reduction was presented in a systematic, easy so this could be understood easily with a draft or theory. Furthermore, the data could be concluded based on the goal of  this research. This study describes data about the internalization process using the planning, acting, and evaluation theory. The values   of  santri entrepreneurs are explained by the concept of  indicators of  entrepreneurial attitudes. Meanwhile, taxonomic concepts are used in the form of  cognitive, affective, and psychomotor to explain the output or results. This study concluded that to realize students with entrepreneurial attitudes, the students needed to determine goals, programs, and proper evaluation methods. Al- Fahham Islamic boarding school’s goal was to create an entrepreneurial spirit in the students themselves and to create capable and skilled cadres of  students who serve the community. Implemented programs supported objective boarding schools, forming the Islamic Boarding School Business Unit (entrepreneurship) and giving spiritual motivation (spiritual). The evaluation was done at the Islamic boarding schools Al Fahham to create students’ entrepreneurial spirit through monthly income reports and appreciation with the method of  giving gifts (rewards) to successful students who reach beyond target income. Internalization process of entrepreneurship values to the students successfully grows up entrepreneur attitude such as discipline, sincerity, independence, hard work, religion, togetherness, caring, affection, simplicity, respect, courtesy, responsibility, and honesty. This value proved that it could help the pesantren alumni to have some skills needed by entrepreneurs, such as creative thinking skills, skills in making decisions to be independent, and leadership skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyingkap karakter Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam perspektif Sirah Nabawiyyah, sehingga dapat membentuk karakter bangsa yang unggul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Metode dan pendekatan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis konten (content analysis). Sedangkan sumber datanya meliputi sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Sumber data primernya adalah buku-buku Sirah Nabawiyyah, kitab-kitab hadis sedangkan sumber data sekunder meliputi buku-buku parenting, literatur pendidikan, jurnal, makalah dan sumber-sumber lain yang ada relevansinya dengan penelitian. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini, bahwa mempelajari Sirah Nabawiyyah dan mengaplikasikan cara hidup Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam kehidupan sehari-sehari, berdampak besar bagi keunggulan karakter murid-murid SD Aisyiyah Bina Insani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku sirah nabawiyah mengandung prinsip pendidikan akhlak, diantaranya yaitu pendidikan akhlak dalam hubungannya dengan Allah SWT. Meliputi tauhid, cinta kepada Allah, taubat, takwa, ibadah, syukur, tawakal, berdoa kepada Allah, dan berdzikir. Pendidikan Akhlak dalam hubungannya dengan Rasulullah saw meliputi mencintai Rasul, memuliakan Rasul, dan taat mengikuti sunnahnya. Pendidikan akhlak dalam hubungannya dengan diri sendiri meliputi jujur, kreatif, mandiri, disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Pendidikan akhlak dalam hubungannya dengan sesama meliputi kasih sayang, tolong menolong, toleransi, dermawan, rendah hati dan pemaaf. Serta metode yang digunakan meliputi keteladanan, pembiasaan, nasihat, cerita dan motivasi.
