JURASIK adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar yang bertujuan untuk mewadahi penelitian di bidang Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika. JURASIK (Jurnal Riset Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika) adalah jurnal ilmiah dalam ilmu komputer dan informasi yang mengandung literatur ilmiah pada studi murni dan penelitian terapan dalam ilmu komputer dan informasi dan ulasan publik pengembangan teori, metode dan ilmu terapan yang berkaitan dengan subjek. Jurnal ini pertama kali mendapat ISSN dengan nomor 2527-5771 pada tahun 2016 untuk terbitan cetak dan mulai 2017 beralih ke terbitan elektronik dengan nomor ISSN 2549-7839. Pengiriman artikel tidak dipungut biaya, kemudian artikel yang diterima akan diterbitkan secara online dan dapat diakses secara gratis. JURASIK (Jurnal Riset Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika) adalah sebuah jurnal peer-review secara online yang diterbitkan bertujuan sebagai sebuah forum penerbitan tingkat nasional di Indonesia bagi para peneliti, profesionaldan praktisi dari industri dalam bidang Ilmu Kecerdasan Buatan. JURASIK (Jurnal Riset Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika) menerbitkan hasil karya asli dari penelitian terunggul dan termaju pada semua topik yang berkaitan dengan ilmu komputer. JURASIK (Jurnal Riset Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika) terbit 1 (satu) nomor dalam setahun. Artikel yang telah dinyatakan diterima akan diterbitkan dalam nomor In-Press sebelum nomor regular terbit. Abstract

Service management in creative fields such as architectural services needs to be done with a neat and efficient system. Currently, Arunika Loya Design still uses a manual way of receiving orders, which often makes it difficult to manage data and communicate with clients. This research aims to design a web-based architectural service booking system using the Waterfall model. Data is obtained through observation, interviews, and literature studies. This system facilitates online ordering, client and project data management, and communication via the WhatsApp button. The design was made with Figma, and the system was built using Laravel, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. Black Box testing was used to show that all features work. As a result, this system increases efficiency, clarifies project management, and facilitates interaction between clients and admins.

Abstract

Information systems are very important for companies to do their daily work. This includes taking care of customer information, handling loans, and keeping track of how well projects are going. But even though information systems are helpful, relying on them more and more can cause problems, especially with data security. PT Sumi Gita Jaya has started using a Corporate Project Management Information System (SIMPP) to make projects run better and to help manage customer information. This research wants to find out the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value to help give advice on how to handle risks in the Company Project Management Information System (SIMPP). The research uses the ISO 31000:2018 method to measure how risky the system is. The steps include finding risks, looking at them closely, calculating the RPN, judging the risks, and deciding what to do about them. This research looks at the level of risk from highest to lowest and provides reviews, treatments, and suggestions for fixing problems caused by risks.

Abstract

In this study, the sentiment analysis of ChatGPT application reviews gathered from the Google Play Store is compared using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest techniques. The google-play-scraper package was used to scrape for the dataset. The data was subjected to a number of preparation procedures before categorization, such as text normalization, stopword removal, character removal, and stemming using the Sastrawi package. After classifying each review using both algorithms, the sentiment of each review was labeled according to its rating score. According to the experimental results, Random Forest attained an accuracy of 94.00%, whereas SVM achieved 95.00%. According to these results, SVM performs marginally better than Random Forest at identifying the sentiment of user reviews of OpenAI applications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interface quality of the Research and Community Service Information System (SIPP) at Universitas XYZ using Ben Shneiderman’s Eight Golden Rules. SIPP plays an essential role in managing research and community service activities carried out by university lecturers. However, no previous studies have specifically evaluated the system’s interface design in accordance with recognized user interface principles. This research adopts a qualitative approach through two main methods: participatory observation and expert review. The researcher actively used the system as a user to identify real-world usability issues, while the expert review involved a practitioner with UI/UX expertise. The analysis revealed that several principles of the Eight Golden Rules have not yet been fully implemented, such as limited feedback on user actions, absence of shortcuts to facilitate navigation, and a lack of confirmation prompts during critical operations. Based on these findings, interface improvement recommendations were developed in the form of wireframes using Balsamiq Cloud to enhance usability, control, and efficiency for lecturers at Universitas XYZ as system’s primary users.

Abstract

Traffic congestion caused by the rapid increase in motor vehicles without proportional infrastructure development demands a more efficient and accurate vehicle identification system. One crucial component is the Vehicle Registration Number (TNKB), which serves as the official identifier. License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology provides a Smart Mobility solution that enables automatic reading of TNKB from digital images. This study aims to develop an automatic license plate recognition system in the "K" region of Kudus City using YOLO object detection and EasyOCR-based Optical Character Recognition (OCR). YOLO is used to detect license plate regions in both images and video in real time, while OCR is applied to recognize the characters. Previous studies have shown that YOLOv4 and YOLOv8 models achieve detection accuracies above 90% and can operate on low-resource devices under poor lighting conditions. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of vehicle data recording, reduce manual errors, and support the integration of smarter transportation systems. In conclusion, the implementation of LPR using YOLO and OCR shows strong potential for application in local traffic environments such as Kudus City.

Abstract

Retail business involves transactions or direct sales of goods to consumers. In this context, the ability to understand consumer demand is crucial. Meeting consumer desires requires supplier involvement. Therefore, Anugerah uniform store requires a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist in accurately selecting suppliers based on desired criteria. The supplier selection process is built using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), a method for ranking decision alternatifs and choosing the best one from multiple criteria. Criteria specified by Anugerah uniform store include price, distance, and quality.

Abstract

This study proposes a real-time motorcyclist drowsiness detection system using a camera-based approach to monitor eye blinks and assess rider awareness. The method integrates YOLO V5 for Region of Interest (ROI) extraction and Channel and Spatial Reliability Tracking (CSRT) for precise eye tracking on an inverted Cartesian plane. CSRT, leveraging CSR-DCF (Discriminative Correlation Filter), ensures robust movement detection. Blink frequency and interval analysis determine drowsiness levels, triggering timely alerts to enhance road safety. Designed for embedded deployment, the prototype utilizes a Raspberry Pi 4B, efficiently processing images via the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 2 NoIR. Experimental results confirm the system’s feasibility for real-time drowsiness detection on lightweight hardware, contributing to the advancement of intelligent rider safety technologies.

Abstract

Teacher performance evaluation is a crucial component in improving the quality of education. However, the manual evaluation process at SMPN Satap Pekuwolan presents several challenges, such as delays in data compilation, lack of transparency, and limited access to information. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a web-based information system for teacher performance evaluation to support a more efficient, transparent, and structured process.The research employed a User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology, consisting of four main stages: understanding the usage context, specifying user requirements, designing solutions, and evaluating the design. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews with school stakeholders, and questionnaires distributed to potential users, including teachers and the principal. The interface prototype was developed using Figma, and evaluated through usability testing with five participants to gather feedback on ease of use and user satisfaction.The results showed that the developed UI/UX design met most of the user needs, with an average System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 82, categorized as “good.” Features such as digital assessment forms, performance history, and data visualization dashboards effectively improved the efficiency and accessibility of the evaluation process.

Abstract

This study presents the development of a voice-enabled smart personal assistant to support instructional activities within smart classroom environments. Distinct from prior research that has primarily focused on desktop-based or mobile implementations, this work integrates the Whisper speech-to-text model into a client-server architecture, utilizing the Jetson Nano as a low-power computing node. The system is designed to facilitate hands-free interaction and adaptive control of classroom operations. Functional evaluations demonstrate a command recognition accuracy of 95%, an average inference time of 3.5 seconds, and an effective operational range of up to 3 meters. These results highlight the feasibility of deploying lightweight, voice-driven AI solutions that uniquely address limitations in low-resource educational environments..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Gen Z’s satisfaction, which are students of Satya Wacana Christian University, on Shopee PayLater (SPL) based on user experience. This research is driven by the increase in e-commerce transactions and digital financial technology use with Buy Now Pay Later method among Gen Z. This research applies a quantitative descriptive approach with the User Experience Questionnaire method. After completing the survey and analysis, this research found that Gen Z's experience of SPL showed an average of 1.66 out of 3.00 or at the Good level. Thus, this study concludes that Gen Z is satisfied with SPL services. All variables contribute to satisfaction. The Perspecuity or Clarity gave the best experience to students at a score of 2.00 or Excellent level, supported by strong experiences on the Efficiency and Dependability. Significant satisfaction on these three factors influences the strength of Pragmatic Quality which provides the highest satisfaction of 1.76. Thus, Gen Z is most satisfied with SPL because of its practical ability, clarity and convenience. While the Hedonic Quality of the Stimulation and Novelty, as well as the Attractiveness had a positive influence on Gen Z's satisfaction, it had the lowest score among others, especially from the aspect of SPL's ability to motivate its users (0.9).
