Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in the characteristics of foreign (cross-border) and domestic acquisition target banks in the period 2011 – 2020 in Indonesian banking, where there are 20 mergers and acquisitions transactions of local banks by foreign (cross-border) and domestic banks resulting in the transfer of ownership of 10 local banks from domestic ownership to foreign ownership. The data in this study were obtained from the Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU) and the annual reports of each bank. The methodology used is descriptive statistics and student t test. The results showed that: (i) capital, profitability performance, credit quality and cost efficiency of foreign acquisition target banks were better than domestic acquisition target banks; (ii) however, the liquidity of domestic target banks is better than foreign acquisition target banks.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of corporate governance on earnings management in consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 – 2020. This study provides evidence that the independent variable of corporate governance consists of three variables, namely institutional ownership, size of the board of commissioners, and composition independent board of commissioners can be seen that institutional ownership and board composition variables have no significant effect on earnings management and only the size of the board of commissioners has a significant effect on earnings management. In addition, for the control variable, the results of existing research show that the influence of leverage which is not significant on earning management and firm size has a significant effect on earning management. Therefore, it can be interpreted that companies with the status of corporate governance do not significantly affect earnings management.

Abstract

Good company wants good quality from its employees. Because good and quality employees will affect the level of performance in carrying out their work and achieving the goals of a company. To create quality employees, training is carried out both inside and outside the office, there are various reasons for conducting employee training, including newly recruited employees who often do not know and do not understand about the work being carried out, as well as the environmental changes that are happening at this time with the emergence of the virus. Covid-19 is sweeping the world. Not only Indonesia but all countries in the world, covid-19 has brought changes in the work system, education system and so on. This study explains the effect of on the job training on employee performance, the effect of off the job training on employee performance and this paper aims to provide an alternative other things that can be done in training and developing human resource management during the Covid19 pandemic. The method used is a qualitative method using a literature review approach. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran spiritualitas di tempat kerja dalam meningkatkan komitmen afektif dengan kecerdasan emosional sebagai variabel moderasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah generasi milenial yang bekerja di berbagai sektor industri di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey. Jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 203 responden yang telah bekerja minimal 1 tahun dan lahir pada rentang tahun 1980-2000. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi termoderasi (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas tempat kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen afektif dan kecerdasan emosional tidak memoderasi hubungan antara keduanya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak dari peristiwa wabah virus covid-19 terhadap reaksi pasar modal yang terjadi di BEI dan memberikan informasi keadaan pasar modal selama terjadinya wabah virus covid-19 serta sebagai acuan dalam mengambil keputusan bagi investor. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari publikasi BEI dan yahoo finance.com. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 45 saham dari sembilan sektor yang terdaftar di BEI yaitu 1). sektor pertanian, 2). sektor pertambangan, 3). sektor industry dasar dan kimia, 4). sektor aneka industri, 5). sektor industri barang konsumsi, 6). sektor property, real estate, dan konstruksi bangunan, 7). sektor infrastruktur, utilitas, dan transportasi, 8). sektor keuangan, 9). sektor perdagangan, jasa, dan investasi. Hasil atau temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari 9 sektor saham terdampak akibat adanya wabah Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Yang di lihat dari pergerakan saham pada periode 25 februari - 6 april 2020. Dengan menggunakan perhitungan abnormal return.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused Indonesia's economy to deteriorate since 2020. To deal with the economic crisis due to the impact of the pandemic, every UMKM need to know their competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is used by companies to compete with each other by managing their resources and capabilities. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research using VRIO (Value, Rarity, Imitability, and Organization) analysis techniques. The purpose of this research is to find out the internal condition of a company, in this case it is UMKM Bintang Mahkota Convection in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that Bintang Mahkota Konveksi has internal resources in the form of tangible and intangible companies. UMKM Bintang Mahkota Konveksi can maintain and develop its resources and capabilities in the form of modern technology, strategic business locations, extensive warehouses, strong relationships with suppliers, experienced employees, and the skills to build relationships with suppliers in order to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the fuel subsidized by the government, namely diesel and premium oil. Subsidized fuel is very much needed by the people in the Johan Pahlawan district, especially for fishermen and people who have low incomes. Premium fuel oil, especially those that are highly targeted or sought after by the public, this is because the price is quite much cheaper than other subsidized fuels. Questionnaires were distributed throughout the Sub-district of Johan Pahlawan, West Aceh. Sampling was carried out by considering the representativeness of respondents from each Kec.Johan Pahlawan, as many as 47 respondents in online media. This data was analyzed by using a quantitative approach, with the technique of collecting data according to the truth and then the data was processed, compiled and analyzed by the method of descriptive statistics. For the measurement of variables, service quality is measured using Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy. (Parasuraman et al, 1988). The level of satisfaction of the people of Kec.Johan Pahlawan is grouped into three categories Low, Medium and High.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure people's purchasing power in the use of electrical energy with household involvement and economy. The research method using clusters and using a questionnaire as a medium to collect information, the sample used is 100 households. The results of the study show that only purchasing power in the price is significant in the household economy, prices and income are significant in the involvement, significant involvement in the household economy. Indirectly only prices and income in purchasing power are significant to the household economy through the involvement of management and use of electrical energy.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan best practices penyelenggaraan sejumlah koperasi yang berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal dan mengidentifikasi peran koperasi dalam pembangunan ekonomi lokal. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan analisis konten (content analysis). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah video dokumenter penyelenggaraan koperasi yang diproduksi oleh International Cooperative Allance dan European Union Partnership on Cooperatives dalam proyek aroundtheworld.coop. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa koperasi mampu berperan dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal melalui peningkatan kesejahteraan anggotanya yang terwujud seiring dengan kemampuan koperasi dalam memfasilitasi: (1) penciptaan akses lapangan kerja dan pendapatan, (2) penyediaan lingkungan yang mendorong peningkatan kapasitas dan penciptaan skills, (3) ketersediaan akses terhadap sumber daya ekonomi, (4) penciptaan nilai tambah produksi, (5) pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat lokal, (6) penciptaan rantai pasok bagi produsen lokal, (7) penggerakan aksi kolektif untuk mendukung kesetaraan kelompok marjinal, (8) penciptaan kesempatan untuk terlibat dalam pengelolaan organisasi berbasis partisipasi, (9) penumbuhan modal sosial dan kepedulian sosial, (10) penciptaan sarana healing dari trauma sosial, serta (11) preservasi budaya lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether characteristics in the dimensions of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) influence job satisfaction. The study approach employed is quantitative, with data processed using SPSS 25. The study's sample technique is a saturation sampling technique that includes the entire population in the study. All 50 employees of business X were chosen as respondents for this study. To protect the privacy of the organization, the name of the organization cannot be disclosed in the publication of articles. The data processing test findings reveal that the five characteristics of OCB have an effect on job satisfaction at the same time. Meanwhile, altruism and civility have an effect on job satisfaction, as do the other three OCB dimensions namely civic virtue, conscientiousness and sportsmanship, have no effect on employee job satisfaction.
