Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study has three research focuses, namely (1) What is the school background in organizing a school website at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu, (2) How are the steps to use the School website as a Public Relations Facility at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Middle School. Xaverius Kefamenanu and (3) How is the management of SIM management in order to support the function of Husemas activities at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu. The fourth finding is that of SMP 1 Kefamenanu and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu has similarities in the form of: (a) attitude towards competition, (b) ideals of using school websites for e-learning media, (c) general content and packaging messages on school websites, (d) the information processing mechanism is not yet implemented , (e) opportunities for workers to attend training. For the differences themselves: (a) availability of human resources with relevant formal education background, (b) availability of supporting facilities and funds, (c) relationship between public relations function and website manager, (d) principal evaluation style, (e) renewal data, (f) variations in the content of information on the website, (g) availability of compensation for managers of school websites, and (h) the role of school principals in administering the website.

Abstract

This is the study of the use of category of hedging that is taken from the supporting characters’ dialogues in Knives Out movie. There are total 8 supporting characters who spoke with hedges contained in the dialogues. The method used is descriptive qualitative which describes the situation factually. There are 20 data found which are dialogues containing of hedging. Researcher uses the theory of the category of hedging by Yu which are modal hedges category, performative (mental hedges), pragmatic-marker hedges, and quantificational hedges. From the study, researcher found all category of hedging in the dialogues spoken by the supporting characters there 2 data found from modal hedges, 1 from both performative and quantificational hedges category, and the most found category is pragmatic-marker hedges which are 16 data found.

Abstract

Anak yang memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik lebih suka belajar langsung, anak seperti ini akan sulit belajar berjam-jam dikelas karena keinginannya untuk beraktifitas. Metode pembelajaran yang baik untuk tipe anak kinestetik yaitu dengan memberikannya simulasi pembelajaran agar anak dapat mengikutinya. Penulis membuat sistem yang bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui gaya belajar anak apakah anak itu visual, auditory atau kinestetik, Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gaya belajar anak adalah Metode Bayes, dimana setiap alternatif yang disediakan akan dilakukan perangkingan untuk memperoleh hasil terbaik. Hasil yang dihasilkan berupa gaya belajar anak apakah visual, auditory atau kinestetik. Sistem yang dibangun diharapkan mampu membantu para orang tua ataupun guru dalam memilih gaya pembelajaran untuk anak.

Abstract

Culture existence, as one of the nation's identity, ought to be maintained in order not to be lost. Although the times keep changing, the original identity of the nation, should not be faded and diplaced by outside culture that comes slowly through information and communication technology development. Generations that lives in this millennial era is different than its predecessor generation, especially with the presence of digital media, which has become part of an integral part of their lives. This paper aims to reveal the efforts of traditional Sundanese dance artist in introducing Indonesian to the local community and abroad.. Using qualitative descriptive method with phenomenology approach, the results shows, the efforts to introduce traditional Sundanese Dance made through performances in a variety of arts events and missions abroad. Communication used is mostly symbolic communication that manifests in the form of dances as well as its supporting elements. Keywords: millennial, culture, identity, artistry, symbolic communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan yang peneliti temui dilapangan yaitu masih kurang memuaskanya hasil kecepatan dalam tendangan sabit pada atlit Pencak Silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate Di SMP Nurul Falah Kota Pekanbaru, baik dari segi hasil maupun penguasaan teknik tendangan. Permasalahan tersebut kemungkinan diakibatkan oleh beberapa faktor atau bentuk latihan dan kondisi fisik yang kurang bagus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh latihan power kaki terhadap kecepatan tendangan sabit pada siswa pencak silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate di SMP Nurul Falah Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian experiment dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang dan dianalisa dengan mengunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan analisis data, nilai thitung yang diperoleh adalah 24.1 kemudian hasil perhitungan tersebut dikonsultasikan pada ttabel dengan drajat bebas 9, maka ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5% didapat 2,262 ataupun taraf signifikan 1% didapat 3,250 berarti thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pada latian power kaki terhadap kecepatan tendangan sabit pada siswa pencak silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate Di SMP Nurul Falah Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun indikator kinerja SDM berdasarkan perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan dalam metode Balanced Scorecard di Puskesmas 4 Ulu. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Populasi adalah seluruh pegawai Puskesmas 4 Ulu Kota Palembang dan sampel adalah pegawai tetap Puskesmas 4 Ulu Kota Palembang. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Tahap penelitian ini dimulai dari studi pustaka, pelaksanaan pertemuan tertutup kepada informan kunci, penyebaran kuesioner tahap pertama, penyebaran kuesioner tahap kedua, dan rekomendasi cara pengukuran indikator yang telah di peroleh. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka indikator kinerja yang paling penting dan relevan digunakan untuk menilai kinerja sumber daya manusia di Puskesmas 4 Ulu Kota Palembang adalah indikator kualitas pekerjaan yang dihasilkan, indikator keterlibatan dalam pengambilan keputusan, indikator keterampilan yang dimiliki, indikator turn over ratio (jumlah keluar masuk karyawan), dan indikator absensi karyawan. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competency in preparing lesson plans through ongoing guidance at SMP Imakulata Maria Magepanda. This research is in the form of School Action Research. The method used in this research is descriptive method, using percentage techniques to see the increase that occurs from cycle to cycle. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of qualitative data sourced from primary and empirical data. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase between cycles, where the percentage ratio of the components of school identity is 19%, the comparison of the percentage components of the subject's identity is 20%, the percentage of class / semester components both cycle I and cycle II is 100%, the percentage ratio of the principal material components is 2%, the comparison of the percentage of time allocation components is 2%, the comparison of the percentage of learning objectives components is 14%, the percentage ratio of basic competency components and indicators of competency achievement is 14%, the percentage ratio of learning material components is 2%, the percentage ratio of learning method components is 6%, comparison of the percentage of learning media components is 10%, comparison of the percentage of learning resource components is 6%, comparison of the percentage of components of learning activities steps is 13%, comparison of the percentage of assessment components of learning outcomes is 13%. In cycle I the average value of the RPP component was 87%, in cycle II the average value of the RPP component was 96%, an increase of 9%. This shows that the implementation of ongoing guidance can improve teacher competency in preparing lesson plans.

Abstract

Performance measurement is an important factor for an organization to control the implementation of the strategy. BSC SWOT method that synergistically can monitor company performance quickly and easily. Hospitals as one type of service company that organizes public health services must have good performance as mandated by Article 28H paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. The purpose of this study is to provide a proposed hospital ‘X’ performance measurement model. Based on the results of the study, the strategy direction of the Hospital “X” is an aggressive strategy, namely with the power possessed able to take advantage of the opportunities that exist. The performance measurement indicator (KPI) for Hospital “X” based on the perspective of the Balanced Scorecard are: 6 financial perspective indicators, 2 customer perspective indicators, 4 internal process perspective indicators, and 5 growth and learning perspective indicators. Based on the total weight of the overall perspective, the highest priority is in the employee productivity indicator of 0.19 and the lowest is the ALOS indicator of 0.014.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar matematika antara model pembelajara make a match dengan pembelajan tanpa model make a match pada materi limit fungsi aljabar. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Buntupane yang berjumlah 107 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah dua kelas kelas XI IPA3 yang berjumlah 35 siswa diterapkan model pembelajaran Make A Match dan di kelas XI IPA3 yang berjumlah 35 diterapkan pembelajaran secara langsung (tanpa make a match).Nilai rata-rata pretest eksperimen (45,09) dengan nilai tertinggi 95 dan terendah 30, nilai rata-rata kelas control (45,26) dengan nilai tertinggi 95 dan terendah 35. Dari uji homogenitas data pretest terdapat perbedaan varians atau kedua sampel homogen dimana (1,88) >(1,77). Dari hasil analisis data postes eksperimen diperoleh L(0,1199) < L(0,159)dan posteskelas kontrol L(0,0877) < L(0,159) sehingga disimpulkan data berdistribusi normal.Nilai rata-rata postes eksperimen (80,26) dengan nilai tertinggi 95 dan terendah 50, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol(75,91) dengan nilai tertinggi 95 dan terendah45. Berarti diterima yaitu hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaranmake a match mempunyai pengaruh lebih baik dan signifikandari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (tanpa make a match).

Abstract

The present study aimed to examine whether there was a significant effect of teaching writing personal recount text through the students’ personal photograph at the eighth grade of Junior High School 9 Kendari. The population of this study was the entire the eighth grade students of Junior High School 9 Kendari who enrolled in academic year 2012/2013. This research involved 34 students at class VIII5. The instrument of this research was writing text in recount genre. And the criteria of students’ writing were assessed from three aspects of writing composition, namely vocabulary, language use, and mechanic. The data were obtained from two essay writing tests. The data of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. After the data were tested and found to be normal, the hypothesis was tested by using analysis of paired sample t-test. The result indicated that teaching writing personal recount text through the students’ personal photograph had a positive significant effect on students’ writing ability, especially on vocabulary aspect 70%, language use aspect 50%, and mechanics aspect 20%. It proved on mean of students’ final score was increased 19.5 from 57.41 in pre-test became 76.91 in post-test, the hypothesis testing was found that the probability value or (p value) was .000<0.05 or (p<0.05) and the calculation of tcount(13.893) was more than ttable (1.692) at the level significance (0.05) and (df) = 33. Therefore, it indicated that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Therefore, it can be summed up that teaching writing through the students’ personal photograph had a positive effect at the eighth grade of Junior High School 9 Kendari.
